Hi everybody,I have a little problem. Maybe anybody can help me with that.I created a Graphics Essential Template on After Effects on Mac. After importing it to Premiere on Mac, everybody works perfectly.But when importing it to Premiere on Windows it's not perfectly working. To be specific. In this Graphics Essential Template I simply connected Text scale to a Slider Control. When using it in Premiere Pro for Mac, it is working. When using it in Premiere for Windows, nothing happens at all. I can change the slider's position like I want to ... nothing happens.Is that a bug? If not, what did I do wrong? Thanks for your helpBest regardsMike

Hi, I just want to keep the fill as it it, but want to apply trim path only to affact the stroke. I tried duplicating layers and keep feel on one and stroke on another and then applied trim path on the stroke activated layer  it works nice. But wondering if there is any way I can do it on one shape layer where the fill and stoke both will stay. Thank you. 

I need to show water flow in a river system. Each of the 8 branches would have up to ten arrows following each other. I am not very advanced in After Effects but can animate single arrows. Ideally the arrows might look like this . Can someone help and explain in very easy terms?Many thanks in advance. 

Hi all, I'm trying to cut out the bridge to put the footage of Mars behind it. The screenshot below is my attempt using colour keying but its not quite there yet - a few edges still show too much of the original backdrop - and I was wondering if anyone had any other suggests on how to do this better? Cheers

Hello I found a few previous posts regrding this but not found a solution.  I'm posting here with view to finding a solution. In essence the text tool in Ae is very slow and laggy, even with only a couple of layers in the comp.  I have a decent spec Mac pro, decent GPU etc so cant undestand why this is hapeening.  I've cleared cache, reset the prefes, turned it off and on again etc to no avail. Does any one have a fix for this?

So my kids and I wanted to create a Star Wars video with lightsabers. We recorded the video, imported in after effects, and then I went frame by frame adding lightsaber effects. It took a a lot of hours to complete. We got all excited when it was complete, and I rendered the movie to h264. When watching it, the audio was not synced and the light sabers were off. After figuring things out, I noticed the composition frame rates for both the footage and the light saber effects are at 29.37 fps. Everything is in sync when playing it in after effects. But after I render it (which looks like it renders to 29.97), everything is off. So I attempted to change the composition frame rates to 29.97 for both footage and lightsaber effects. The audio is synced but the light sabers are still off. Is there a way to get this rendered without needing to go back and do the light sabers all over again?

see? LUT: Nonedowner must be 12+ windows with presets to LUT, but...hes lost somewhere XDi do nothing and have no idea how i can fix that. 

Do the AE-packaged OICO profiles not work with CMD rendering? Is it advisable to use a custom profile in CMD?Windows 11, v24.5.0

Is it possible to edit every detail of an Illustrator file in After Effects? Specifically, I want to apply keyframes to every detail of my Illustrator file, including shape properties, freeform gradients, effects, and more—not just the layers. I would like to be able to edit every property setting and effect in After Effects. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you!

Hello cows,am new to this forum so i try to be specific as possible to save everbodys time:I have a click sound, that translates into very clear keyframes with values between 10 and 20 at a click and I want to my graphic to be 10px further up everytime a click/keyframe value occursBUTI need the animation to be linear but smooth starting and ending just halfway between the clicks so the next animation can start just in time. The clicks are not unison but vary in clicks per minute.I already triedease(value, 11, 20, 0, 10)smooth(width=0.1, samples=50)smooth goes into the right direction but I cant change it to be precise where i need the animation to start and end and to be at 10 exact at the click.Could somebody please point me into the right direction or am i missing something?THANKS!

先日Aeを入れたばかりの新参者です。起動してみたはいいものの、「システムの互換性レポート」と注意書きが出てきて使えません。いろいろ自分なりに調べてインテルドライバーとソフトウェアを最新の状態にしましたが出続けてしまい未だ開けない状態にあります。これは自分のPCのスペックなどに問題があるのでしょうか。有識者がいらっしゃいましたらご教授いただけると幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします。 使用しているPC→Razer blade15   Corei7  Windows10

Hello! Trying to animate a write-on effect, but with a sans serif blocky font - so each line/section/curve of the characters "draw" on at varying times as a way to reveal the word. I don't want an organic, handwriting look though - more like trim paths, but the brand's font design is too specific to recreate using hand-made strokes. Is there a better way to accomplish this, or do I need to recreate with strokes and use trim paths?

Jedes Mal, wenn ich versuche, eine Animation zu rendern, hängt sich das Programm auf oder stürzt komplett ab. Der Renderprozess startet zwar, aber nach einer Weile friert alles ein und ich kann die Animation nicht erfolgreich exportieren.Ein paar Details zur Animation:Die Komposition hat eine Breite von 14.400 Pixeln und eine Höhe von 256 Pixeln. Ich frage mich, ob die ungewöhnlich große Breite der Komposition das Problem verursacht. Möglicherweise überfordert diese Größe meine Hardware oder überlastet die Software.Hat jemand von euch ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht oder eine Idee, woran es liegen könnte? Ich wäre sehr dankbar für jeden Tipp!Danke im Voraus!

I keep on repeatedly getting an error with After Effects that states: After Effects warning: Unable to set clip. GDI Status: "GenericError" It happens to me every day, usually over my lunch hour I switch my screens off. If After Effects is running, when I return and try to RAM Preview, AE will load in to RAM as much as it can, usually playing back once before this error pops up. If I hit ok, the same error then pops up repeatedly, and it will not go away giving me no chance to save my work. I have to use the Task Manager to be able to quit AE. As I've got two monitors plugged in to two PCs, it also happens when I switch PCs then switch back to the one running AE. Can Adobe fix this please? Or at least make it so that the error message doesn't keep coming up when I press OK in an endless cycle of doom?

Hello, I'm wondering how this transition was made? (see video attached) How does someone move the video down so smoothly? Is this doable in After effects? Thanks!

hello everyone, since yesterday after effects is suddenly unable to cache my compositions. Instead of caching it like it used to, the cache bar just randomly flickers all the time. I already tried to purge the caches and everything multiple times, selected new locations for them, changed the resolution and minimized my project files. I m already working with precomposed comps and proxys. Everything behaved fine before.  I have tested to open a new project and imported a clip into the compositon to see if it occurs again. It worked perfectly fine. The sequence was cached and the green bar behaved normally.  Has somebody experienced this problem and knows how to solve it. I have worked tones of hours on this project and would appreciate every helpful advise.  

In PP there is an option (hold shift key while loading) to reset the plugins loading cache. Is there a similar thing for AE? I have some plugins not loading with this message:The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache. The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded.

 Hello, I'm having a problem with the rotation on my animation.I'm new with the program and I'm doing my homework which consists in animating a ball bouncing , I got the bouncing but the ball doesn't spin at all and I don't know why.Can someone help me figure it out please ?
