Hello, i would like to do the same glitch effect that there is on the battlefield 6 logo.My try is that i added a displacement map of the glitch layer (with fractal noise) on my Text layer, as you can see in the attachement, the original logo (bottom) has not the glitch effected everywhere, only on some part on each letter, somes seems almost not affected by the glitch (letter E or F). Also glitch affect only the left side of letters (letter T).On my test, displacement map affect font everywhere, how to add effect only on some part of the typo like in original logo ?

So, I create I single vertex path using the Pen Tool. Hi gang; I know how to checkout masks from the layer the effect is on, but I would like to be able to do that from another layer. I have seen this from a few other plugins so it seems like it's possible. This would allow me, I assume, to checkout paths as well (as opposed to just masks), correct? There are interesting things paths can do like animated squiggly lines that masks cannot. I searched through the example projects but didn't see any examples on how to do this. Does anyone have any insight or code snippets they are willing to share? Any limitations or issues in checking out another layer's paths / masks? Thanks,-Richard

Hey everyone,  Mogrt type files are not supported for import intro a Creative Cloud library. A month ago this didn't work, then a week later, halleluja, it worked! This was an easy workflow for us because we worked with several people on the same project. And now... well, it's broken again!!Does anybody know when this issue is going to be solved? Or how I can address this issue and whom I have to ask this? 

Hello,I am trying to repurpose an After Effects file for another project. The original composition was set at 1080x720 in the AE file I received, but I had to change the size to 1920x1080 for the new project.I've already changed the size of the composition using the "Composition Settings" but I am wondering if there is a way to scale/resize all of my layers to correspond to my new composition size of 1920x1080 without having to do a ton of repositioning. There are a lot of elements and transitions that I would like to keep, and I'm hoping I don't have to recreate too much of that.I know I am basically moving from a 3:2 (1080x720) to a 16:9 (1920x1080) aspect ratio, so I might be out of luck here but I wanted to get thoughts of some others.Is there a quick and semi-painless way to resize my layers to fit the new composition size, or do I have to resize each individually because the pixel ratio is different?

For the past month or so, I’ve been losing my mind over a bug where After Effects launches with an unsaved project After some desperate debugging, I found out that deleting UserWorkspace.xml from this path fixes it (at least temporarily):C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\[version]\ModifiedWorkspaces-J ⚠️ Heads up: this will reset all your workspaces. I am reworking on this project in which I have to use 3D camera tracker and use a target and create something out of that target. I want to create a solid only after right-clicking an area in my footage among the tracker points and select an option. I expected to see "Create Solid" only, but now I only see "Create Solid and Camera" which is something that I don't want. Can anyone know how to fix this? 

Adobe After Effects 25.4 have glitch issue. When i open my previous project file in 25.4 version then i see composition position upper & middle time is screen down. It's not have perfect position. Then when i uninstall it & install 25.3.2 version then it is ok. See first picture is when i open 25.4 & 2nd pic is when i open 25.3.2. this is perfect.

Hi,I’ve been making some TikTok-style edits in After Effects. Sometimes I also use Android apps for quick text or filters and then bring that into AE.Does anyone else work like this? Do those apps actually help or do they mess up the quality when you move things back into After Effects?Would like to hear how others are handling it.

Hello, I encounter a small but quite annoying bug since version 25.3 of After Effects. It is still present on 25.3.1. Here's my setup :Mac Studio 2023 - Apple M2 Max - 32 GB RAM - macOS Sequoia 15.5Two Asus 279CRV displays As you can see on the attached video, when using a one-monitor workspace, the application enters the edit mode properly when double-clicking on a text layer in the timeline.However, when using a two-monitors workspace, the application quickly enters and exits the edit mode. If I want to edit a text layer, I have to double-click on it in the Composition panel, not in the timeline. This can lead to undesired manipulations, like changing the position of the layer. Thanks for your support with that. Best regards,

Expanding the buffer completely corrupts the GPU path. Even when I just make it make the layer blue and red, the layer is just completely corrupted when I add it with other effects. The corruption does not happen at all when I use it with AE's built-in effects (like Transform or Directional Blur). It does not make any sense. Ever since I added that expansion, the GPU path does not work at all with my other effects. This is my Directional Blur plugin when it's above my Exposure/Gamma effect. It happens with ALL of my effects.  

Hi i am lately editing logo reveal mogrts file in adobe after effects for my youtube channel. When i open the mogrts file in after effects and choose the replace the logo file and upload it my logo turns to fully gray.  And İ dont know how to turn this normal.

Hi, I have ae 2020. Despite applying motion tile on both clips (one the precomposed transition, one the adjustment layer with s_blurmocurves), there still isn't any mirroring in the clip- so it just disappears into the abyss when made smaller. I have tried to research this but found no solution or explanation. On other clips motion tile seems to be working fine. Even adding motion tile to the precomp isn't working, which is baffling to me. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help.

Hello all - I'm exporting a multi-layered EXR from Cinema 4D at 3840x2160. I'm new to EXR workflow. All of my testing was done at 1080 and I haven't had any issues. In my final render, when importing into After Effects, it imports as 1920x1080. I've double checked render settings and opened a frame in photoshop and confirmed it is 3840x2160. Why is After Effects scaling this down and how to get to import at full size? Thanks!

After forum user FinFin pointed out that the Creative Cloud app for mobile no longer does push notifications, I looked into alternatives and realised it was possible to use Google Drive sync and the free Zapier tier to trigger emails. In the video, I run through the steps needed to render a video locally and have it sync to the cloud but then I had the idea to export a text file after rendering instead so I share a script to do just that. Hi team, i am working on a shot which has multiple planes which need to projected with a clean plate.The difficulty here i face is once i change the 2D image plane to 3D its changes its position,orientation and scale. So i need to manully scale the 2D image plane and use corner pin to align and fit to comp size.This is also inaccurate as matching the 4 edges is dificult. So looking for a  ae script that would automatically create a corner pin effect to the selected 3D pane and snap to the edges of the comp in the current timline position. PFA Thanks

I just started to learn about 3D layers in After Effects and have seen a couple of tutorials on YouTube that explain how orientation and rotation properties are different, but I still quite don't understand the fundamental working of it. Most of these tutorials highlight some of the uses of having these properties but don't explain how they fundamentally differ. I know that the three values under the rotation property of a 3D layer, tell about the angular position of a point on the layer as measured about the local axes that are centered at the anchor point. What exactly the three values in the Orientation property telling?

I am learning to use the Convert Vertex tool in AE but its just not working. The pen tool work just fine and shows the pen icon but when I selet the convert vertex to just uses the normal mouse pointer. I've made sure to select the keyframes but still nothing. What could it be? Thank you! 

In After Effects, there’s an option called “Notify when queue completes” when rendering.But I’m not sure how to use it, especially to get notifications on my phone.I checked the Creative Cloud mobile app, but it looks like the mobile version has been discontinued by Adobe, so I can’t receive any notifications through that.Is there any way to make this feature work, or is there an alternative method to get a notification on my phone when rendering is finished?Thanks in advance!

layer Name: Displace Adj.Effect Name: Turbulent DisplaceThis effect makes the edges randomly warp and move. At 2 minutes & 36 seconds, the effect restarts and the effect is much slower.I want the effect to continue warping the edges at the same speed for 5 minutes (ideally 10 minutes) then reloop back to the start. I have tried a variety of Evolution Expressions but have been unsuccessful.If I configure the Evolution to loop back to the start at 2 minutes & 30 seconds, the effect works as expected and doesn't slow down.(time - inPoint) * 210 % 31500If I configure the evolution to loop back to the start at 3 minutes, the effect slows down at 2 minutes & 36 seconds, but it does loop back to the start as expected.(time - inPoint) * 210 % 37800 What am I missing that is causing the effect to slow down at 2 minutes and 36 seconds? Every single CC plugin failed to load on After Effects. It randomly happened one day but I ignored it for a while until I actually needed to use them, about a month later. Finding no solutions to my problem online, I decided to uninstall and reinstall every single Adobe program on my computer multiple times, so many I don't even know how many times anymore. This is the error I get upon starting AE:  "After Effects warning: The following plugins have failed to load. Salvei corretamente os arquivos do photoshop. Fiz todos os passos para abrir certo como camada no after mas só lê como footage e nao layer!E agora não funciona o animation composer!já desinstalei, fiz de tudo e os erros continuam! não sei mais o que fazer! O After não está funcionando. Já desinstalei até o creative cloud e mesmo assim minhas configurações continuam lá, não começa mais do zero. Não sei o que está havendo. Meu notebook suporta o after, até o mês de junho estava funcionando direito.
