When i render my composition it drasticaly changes the timings of my composition, even after i go back and move assets to match the times it will only work for a little while. as soon as i change any other part of the comp it moves everything way out of place when i render it next, even the stuff i had previously moved back into position and not touched since. not sure if this is a bug or something up with my render settings. any help would be greatly appreciated. The setting I am using currently are attached below.

Hello,I get problem My preview is always blackI've tried almost every method I've searched but they are doesn't work.AE Version:25.2.2GPU : rtx4070CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-14600KFRam :32 Windows11 64bit In addition, I can't see the GPU information in Preferences->Preview, but in the project settings,I can set to use CUDA, the gpu also seems to be running normally.My Gpu driver version is NVDIA Sutdio Driver 576.02 Thanks 

I’m currently having a strange issue in After Effects: whenever I save my own animation presets, it only seems to store the rotation – position, scale, or other transform properties just don’t make it in. No matter what I try, only the rotation axis gets saved. What’s even weirder is that this doesn’t just happen with my own presets. Even when I use presets made by others that are supposed to include both position and rotation, only the rotation works. I’ve tried applying them to different null layers, and it’s always the same: the rotation applies, but the position gets completely ignored. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if this is a bug, but it’s pretty frustrating, since it really limits how useful presets can be

I tried to delete all fonts from Adobe Fonts and others but the BIB Error still comes back to my device. How can i fix this function please? 

Ss there a way to expand the "boundaries" of a 3d layer?I want the text to spiral over the image but want it to be behind certain parts of the image like the briefcase, right arm, etc. I've tried adjusting the scale, rotation, everything but nothing seems to work. Both the text and image layers are 3d layers.  

All shake presets would only affect the Z rotation and go to 2 and back to 0. The preset is supposed to affect the position and XYZ rotations but it doesn't. (I tried this with other presets to see if it was just that one.) Does anyone have a fix? I've been looking around for hours now. Hi, How can I center align an object or a text into another object in After effects? For exmaple I need to center align the texts in the attached picture inside the respective yellow boxes. How can I do that?

I'm having a big problem that i inhibiting my work almost completely. I have used Box drive for my motion design job for around 3 years without issue. Box drive is a storage service like Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. The drive is installed on my machine, so that whenever any software requests access to any of the files on the cloud, Box will automatically download them. From After Effects' or Premeire's perspective, these are simply files located on my local drive - this usually allows for a seamless collaborative workflow for my remote job. Starting a month ago, I am having a problem where whenever I open Adobe After Effects or Premiere, my computer attempts to download ALL files on Box, hundreds of terabytes worth of files. This makes my machine very slow, borderline unusable, and also triggers a flurry of error notifications from Box that say "Unable to open folder XYZ. Please try again" for dozens and dozens of folders -- even though I have not touched any of the folde

Hey there,I've had this problem for about a week now. Whenever I work in Adobe After Effects 2022 (v.22.5) and try to switch to any other opened program (like explorer, firefox, premiere etc) my whole pc freezes for about 5 seconds followed by a black screen for 20 seconds - after that my pc unfreezes, but the preview panel in after effects is white and I have to restart after effects again. Also what I noticed is, that videos that where opened on firefox also turn white/green or previews in premiere don't show anything as well. I tried switching hardware-accelaration on and off for composition and stuff, switching from CUDA to OPENGL to software only. Nothing works. Im on Windows 11 with NVIDIA RTX 3080ti, intel i7-12700k, 64gb DDR4 RAM, 2tb pcie4.0 SSD. I honestly don't know what to do, appreciate any help ❤️

A quick expression to automatically add separators, decimals and currency symbols when using a text layer.   I have seen this problem raised a lot on the forums, namely how do you get the Expressions code or rather ExtendScript / JavaScript to automatically add thousands separators to numbers. And how can you have the same number displayed with different currencies? In the past I might have suggested replace(), split(), join() functions, but they are always a bit awkward to convert, but they are no good when splitting to begin with. But there is a simple function, built into JavaScript that After Effects can also use and it makes the whole thing simple: Intl.NumberFormat().format() With just a few options, you can easily format numbers according to any locale, making your project cleaner, smarter, and more professional.

HelloI am working on film with flickering. I use time remapping to do toggle hold key frame.Once complete I then render. After rendering I then export audio media queue to MP4.In Premiere Pro if I attempt to stablize the film ends up cut and repositioned and rendered useless.I then attempted to Warp Stablizer in After Effects. Message says stablize cannot be done with Time Remapping. How to I achieve Warp Stablizer on the filmes that were flicker fixed and then rendered?Thanks 

Urgent help needed! This error is preventing me from using AE whatsoever. It first showed up after I made a new comp and attempted to use the text tool. The second I clicked to open a new text layer, the error message in the title popped up followed by a (26 :: 82) strange situation [0/1] message. I've tried what feels like everything: purged the media disc and cache, updated AE, restarted my computer. Nothing works. As a test, I tried opening a new comp and creating a shape layer. Same issue, but this time the error message kept reopening every time I closed it, and I had to force quit AE. I'm completely stumped, and there doesn't seem to be much info about this specific error available. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Version: 23.5 then 23.6Platform: PCOS: Windows 10 Pro

Layers are blurry and I have been struck for the whole day. Need help:  I have tried everything I could and it's not helping. Also when I try to create shapes from Illustrator layers, getting the following error: 

Size to comp stretches everything.  and fit to width or height dones't work for everyrthing since they're differenty ratios.  If AE doesn't have a way to fit pictures to the comp without stretching then they need to fire every developer that works on AE.

I just installed AF Created a comp and tried to import an image the image is in the comp but I can't see itI tried with other stuff also like solids or text it seems I can only see it if the comp is on 100% zoom and it's not showing anything over the edges

Hi everyone,I’ve created several strokes under the composition file named "Stroke", and they were working perfectly within the main animation earlier. However, the strokes have suddenly disappeared from the main comp, they’re still visible inside the "Stroke" composition, but not showing up when combined with the other layers or the rendened video.This has happened twice now. The first time, they somehow reappeared on their own and I’m not sure what I did to fix it. Has anyone experienced this issue before or know what might be causing it? This is kinda driving me crazy...I’d really appreciate any insight!

Hallo liebe Community, wenn ich After Effects auf Version 25.2.2 update und anschließend versuche das Programm zu öffnen, bekomme ich auf meinem Macbook Pro (Apple M2 Pro) eine Meldung: das Program sei beschädigt.After Effects lässt sich weder öffnen noch lässt sich das Problem irgendwie beheben.Das einzige das hilft ist, wenn ich auf eine frühere Version downgrade. Falls jemand das gleiche Problem hat oder hatte und eine Lösung gefunden hat, würde ich mich über einen kurze Austausch sehr freuen.Viele GrüßeBenjamin

Hey Everyone,So I'm creating an animation in AE, but first I wanted to create a custom logo in Illustrator. It's a simple word and rectangular box outline. I had separated the text as individual shapes so that I could manipulate each one manually in AE. Having separated each shape into its own layer I saved the file. I only used ONE artboard. The background is obviously not black, and it's in RGB colorspace not CMYK. Going into AE I import the file with the following setup: All layers import. The problem is that they are all black when I open the composition.If anyone can please answer this question it would be greatly appreciated as I haven't found the correct answer after searching the forums for the last couple hours.Thanks!
