Hello kindly help me out on this please.I've tried to do this with multiple tutorials but non of them are not working.Most tried method:  QUICK TIME> RGB&ALPHA> ANIMAITON> RENDER (not working) it's text animation. as you can see on pictures video is still with bacground 😞 

Sequences imported from Premiere Pro do not appear in composition.

 When i am importing glb file in afterfx beta this is what appears on screen, is there any way to fix this?Thanks

Hi: We have been working diligently to add significant new capability to the TextDocument and, although we have not exposed any of the new APIs to you yet, in preparation for this we have changed a significant bit of the underlying architecture which TextDocument is built upon. Hello, Does anyone have a 32bit Aces AE comp that plays back in realtime on an external HDR monitor? I can't get true HDR (aces) realtime playback. Rec 709 works fine.

So basicly, I use after effects beta and everything is black. GLB 3D and all PNGs are working, but mp4 and jpg for example are completly black. And I really wanna fix this since I want to use 3D feature of AE beta.I have 3060 with i5 10400 with 16gb ram so hardware is not an issue, I also have the latest driver. Any ideas? 

Hi, I'd like to request a feature in scripting: it would be really useful if there would be a way to identify true 3D objects in the new Mercury engine. This could be useful for a number of reasons but a very pressing issue is that those layers don't accept effects and when trying to apply an effect, an error is generated. This can be problematic when, for example, applying an effect to every layer in the comp. Now, of course, one could use try/catch but this will still internally create the error and therefore slow down the script. Additionally, I often have to check back on the layers in my scripts and when it's not clear why there's no effect on a layer where there should be one, this can cause issues. Currently, I'm using a rather elaborate set of conditions to identify whether an object may be a true 3D object (by checking the source file extension, etc.) but I think there should be a proper way to identify those objects. Thanks for your consideration! Best wishes,C

ProblemWhen using the new OCIO-ACES management, the Info Panel shows the same color values whether the Display Color Space is on or off. It's only showing the Working Space (ACEScg) values and not the Display Space values (ACES/Rec709). This causes confusion and is misleading when dealing with colors like white or brand colors. For example, when viewing "white" in ACES, it looks gray, yet the color values still show 1.0. This can also become an issue if you need to confirm that brand colors are correctly represented.   RecreateTurn on OCIO-ACES management and view in either sRGB or Rec709. Then create a white solid (1, 1, 1). The white solid viewed with the ACES/Rec709 ODT will look gray which is correct. However, the Info Panel still shows this gray value as 1.0 instead of 0.8216. Proposal- There should be an option in the Info Panel to view color values in either the Working Space or Display Space. A simple toggle button would do.- Another option would be to

Does the current beta import .Obj? I import the file but no shading or texture is on it.  .gltf is working just fine.

Using AE V24.1.0 Build 59 on Windows 10 as seen from the attached images, when rotoscoping this subject, the AI algorithm keep including the chest area approx every 5 seconds.  If I let this proceed unchecked, Roto V3 eventually includes the complete chest area.  So every 5 seconds I had to keep telling AE Roto V3 to include the chest area and the algorithm just never learned to keep it excluded.  Maybe we need a mask to tell Roto leave this area alone? 

One of the features in photoshop that I find extremely helpful is that when you nudge a layer, no matter how many times you've nudged, if you hit undo, it resets back to the original position, treating all the nudges as one action. I would love to see this implemented in After Effects. As a motion graphics artist I find myself wishing for this feature very often.  After doing a dozen small nudges, if I change my mind I have to hit cmd+z as many times as I nudged, or I have to manually drag it back into position, with no guarantee of getting it perfectly back where I had it. I find it hard to imagine a situation where I wouldn't want to undo all nudges in one keystroke, so to me, it's a no-brainer. I think over the course of many projects, this feature would save quite a bit of time and frustration.

Coming to you with an update on Selectable Track Matte Layers: with After Effects Beta version 23.0x37 we are introducing the following scripting changes to support the new Selectable Track Matte Layer behavior.   Previous scripting models, and After Effects as a whole, only required the setting of trackMatteType, as there was no ambiguity about which layer was the track matte — it was always the layer right above the matted layer in the layer stack (index-1).   Since Track Mattes can now be sourced from any layer, our scripting methods have been updated as well. Today we are excited to announce the availability of Speculative Preview in After Effects beta, available in builds 18.4x37 or newer. Download the latest build from Creative Cloud Desktop.   What is Speculative Preview? While AE is idle (e.g., you’ve stopped to admire your beautiful design, checking email, or getting coffee, etc.), the composition that has focus (and any pre-comps in that comp) will begin automatically rendering in the background. You’ll see green cache marks appearing as frames are rendered and you will not lose your place in the preview window. This should allow you to then scrub around the composition with frames already rendered, speeding up your design/preview iteration loop.   You can see Speculative Preview in action in the attached video.    Please use this forum post to discuss and provide feedback.    Thanks!

I am uisng After Effects Beta version 24.1.0 and when I import 3D models in it they are invisible

Hi, I have a problem. 3d models are invisible in After Effects Beta version 24.1.0.Do I need draft 3d to be visible? And how I can do this?

As you may have noticed, as of After Effects 24.1 build 14 (so for a while now), there were big changes to the rendering of non-model 3D layers in the Advanced 3D engine. Imported models have always used physically-based rendering for their materials and now objects created internally within After Effects do too. Any solids, precomps, text, and shape layers with the 3D switch activated are now textured and renderedwith Adobe Standard Material, a Physically-Based Rendering-material format capable of more accurate and photographic looks. This may have some impact on the way your 2D layers look when you click the toggle to change them to 2D to 3D, but it enables significantly more integrated and beautiful lighting and rendering of your scenes. How do i get access to ther AE beta(24) with rotobrust 3.0.At the moment, I can only find the Photoshop beta installer. There is no beta for AE installable in Adobe CC. If AE beta is complete, any idea when the 3.0 version of the tool will be released?
