Questions

This only appears to be an issue with some specific HTML5 Canvases of mine. Starting a new file does not replicate the issue.  In a new file, it's easy to click the Publish Settings button, type or select a path, then publish.  In my working files, each time I try to edit the path, Animate appends a dozens ".../.../.../" to the beginning of the path. Then, I'm unable to publish because the path name exceeds the 250 character limit. Does anyone know what's going on here? I've tried different (shortest possible) paths, different (single character).output names, none of it working.   

- Animate Keyframe and sound (stream) synchronization issue I created keyframes at specific frames and made text appear, similar to karaoke subtitles. I will buy Huawei Matepad Papermatte Edition 11.5 tablet, can I use Adobe Animate?

I am a university student, I will buy a Huawei Matepad, but can I use Adobe Animate? can i connect it? Will there be any problems? how do i do it? I would be very grateful if you could inform me.

I imported a GIF of a character walking into AdobeAnimate with the hope of removing the background. This is what I've gotten so far by breaking apart and using the magic wand and eraser. Is there any way I could get this looking a bit cleaner? I need to export this and import it into Storyline 360, but the storyline will not have a white background, so I do not want it to look off. TIA!  

I am very new to animate and am trying to do some very basic lip syncing. I was half way through it when i realised it looked very rigid. How can I tween these frames? (please don't mind my bad animation I am very new)

I used Animate to build an interactive psychiatric medication guide for mental health providers. I am an amateur Animate user. I have published my .fla to the Google Play Store successfully. I am trying to publish my Animate file to the Apple App Store without having to hire a freelance professional (though at this point frankly I would).  I'm using Animate 2020 and have downloaded and attached latest SDK from Harmon.  I have also attached certificates and provisioning profiles and icons.  I get a warning/block when I try to publish: "Warning:Assets.car is required for target ipa-app-store."  I have tried to review other posts in the Animate forum on this issue.  Adobe Support sent me a link to "AIR Native Extension Tutorials".  I followed Method 3 because it had screenshots.  Per that tutorial I opened a new project in Xcode11.4.4.1 and I imported the required images and had a 'successful' build. However I cannot find my Assets.car. I believe I am supposed to copy my Assets.car and import back in by Adobe Animate file in the publish setting in "

Hi there, I'm building some extensions for Animate via ActionScript calling JSFL functions. I've built quite a few features now, but for the first time encountering a strange issue - when a button is pressed to run a particular JSFL function, it's remaining pressed even after the code has finished executing. I'm afraid I can't share the code, but just so it's clear you can see the buttons. I'm assuming, for whatever reason, Actionscript is under the impression that the code is still executing? If anyone has come across this before would love to know how you resolved it! Thanks for any help!

Hello, I am beginner at Adobe Animate. I want to copy one character eyes group to another character. Firs character I made manuel is 24 frame (eyes group) and it winks from 1. frame. But when I coppied the eyes group to another character, frames are not same. This time it winks at 51. frame. (New character is again 24 frame). Why is it not compatible? What can I do or this? Thank you from now.In the 2nd photo I coppied to green character, it starts moving from 51. frame.

I wanted to know how I can import an audio track and have it fully shown? Whenever I drag and drop any audio into a fresh project it always has the audio in the first frame, forcing me to extend the audio manually. Which is fine for a very short clip but horrifying when I want to make something longer than like 30 secs or even 1 min.Please help me out here. I really wanna start animation but this just doesn't work for me 

I’m working on a project with 50 to 100 audio files. Importing all of them into the FLA file would make it excessively large. Since the audio files are already linked externally from my computer, can I avoid embedding them in the FLA? I only need them to sync with the animation, as the final product will load the MP3 files externally.

I've been running into this issue  - everything is lined up how I want it in the working file but when I preview or export to HTML some of the text boxes are shifted up slightlyIn my working file:When exported/previewed as HTML:Why is it only happening to the text in the banner and the buttons and not the alert text? At first I was seeing this issue with non-system fonts and thought it was something wrong with the type file itself, but here it's happening with Arial.... I've also been running into this problem in Adobe programs as well as web-based HTML banner maker (creatopy). The problem only happens with HTML—when I export to GIF/JPG/MP4 the text comes out where it's supposed to be. Any clue how to get my HTML to stop moving my text???

 I am trying to upload a an Air app to the Mac App Store. I get this Error Missing required icon file. The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPhone / iPod Touch of exactly '120x120' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 10.0. To support older versions of iOS, the icon may be required in the bundle outside of an asset catalog. Make sure the Info.plist file includes appropriate entries referencing the file.      

Estoy haciendo un banner y he usado dos imágenes png y texto en vector creado en Animate. Cuando le doy a control+intro en la preview se ve perfectamente pero a la hora de exportarlo como gif pierde toda la calidad. Incluso el vector de texto que se ha creado se ve borroso! He probado a tocar las configuraciones, he borrado y vuelto a instalar el programa y no hay forma de que no se pierda calidad.  ¡Ayuda!

I would like to copy from Illustrator and paste into an Animate timeline without creating a new layer. I used to be able to do that, but now it always creates a new layer.

When you open the publish settings, you will see the hardware acceleration option. The default is "None". There are two more options in the drop-down list, "Direct" and "GPU". Can anyone explain what this means? Will checking different options improve the smooth performance of the current document? This is confusing.

Hola! Tengo que crear muchos banners por trabajo y caaaada vez que voy a exportar un gif es darle a exportar se cierra de golpe. Toooodas las veces. He desinstalado y vuelto a instalar y el problema persiste. Tengo la versión más actualizada del programa. Agradezco mucho cualquier tipo de ayuda!

I can open Animate, but trying to do anything besides opening the program makes it crash on my Windows computer.  I am trying to get it to run so I can teach it in a couple of weeks in my high school animation class!I can get it to work on my MacBook laptop, but my desktop PC that I teach on & the kids work on, it keeps crashing.I have all the requirements & specs to operate it.  I am stumped.  Please help.Sincerely,Middle-aged Animator wanting to teach the High Schoolers how to animate.

Hey, On one of my shots, the export appears to completely screw it up. I asked reddit and someone said they believed it was an issue with filters not exporting, though I'm not sure thats the case, because some of the lines it exports aren't physically there in the project. File is 1920:1080, as is the export (Issue still there for different export sizes and presets)Publish settings are Don't include hidden layers and don't compress (Issue still there if both selected though)There is a camera move in the shot, though again, the issue is still there without.I've tried all I can think of, any help would be much appriciated. I've attached a screenshot of the project as well as the export for added clarity  Thank you

This shows when i launch adobe animate

I am finding that when I export a Test Movie to the browser my .png graphics are showing with white blocks in place of transparency. I changed the Publish Settings from Spritesheet to Image assets, and this fixed it.But other team members say they have no transparency issues exporting as Spritesheet (and they recommend this for smaller file size). How do I export in Spritesheet mode and still get the .png transparency?

I can't moove any of my imported png file in the library to a folder or to the stage. The stage is not locked but still having issues, Im falling behind on my university assignment because of this 

I used the text tool to enter some text, but it looks really poor quality on the Stage preview.Is this normal... how can I get the best possible quality?The "my@" is the text-tool layer.  The "Local..." is a bitmap.View > Preview > is "Full"
