When I try to export an FLA, Media Encoder doesn't generate the video and the MP4 doesnt't end up getting created.

I apologize if this is an obvious solution, I am very new at Animate and would appreciate help.I have a symbol that is just a simple rectangle, however it is tilted, so the box around the rectangle symbol is not lined up with the actual rectangle. I want to make the rectangle shorter and fatter so that it lines up with the one below it, but when I try to edit the size it skews it.Is there a way to change the actual dimensions of a shape within a symbol? or do I have to just make sure the shape is parallel with the stage before I make it into a symbol? I can't figure out why but I can't paste a copied motion onto a new motion. Both layers are motion tweens but after I copy the motion from one and go to paste it on the blank motion tween, it doesn't let me. The paste motion option is greyed out. Neither layers are locked so I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong. The things on both layers are movieclip symbols as they're meant to be.Any help would be great, thank you.

Hi all, I'm working on a project in Animate with one numeric variable, a lose condition based on this variable, and a reset button. The project consists of a main timeline with 3 states (Main menu, Game, Game over). The numeric variable increases by one when a specific button is pressed within the game. When this variable reaches 4, the player is directed to the Game over frame and is presented with a reset button. The reset button takes the player back to the main menu, after which they can play the game again. The problem is, whenever the player re-enters the game, the previous numeric variable is still stored; When clicking the button that increases the numeric variable, two values are returned: 2 (which is expected) and 5 (lose condition +1). When iterating again, three values are returned, etc. I have tried creating an if-else statement that should only declare the variable if it does not yet exist, but it always declares a new variable. My guess is that i

So my program keeps unexpectedly quitting amid any work that I try to do in Animate. It was when I started to use a gradient fill in a separate animate doc and worsened over time. I thought my computer needed an update when it crashed the first time but then it did it again so I updated all the CCsuite apps to 2024 versions, which did do something enough to allow me to begin auto-save. Only bothered to download Animate at this point. After that, the whole app kept crashing repeatedly and constantly. Moving to a new doc to see if it was just 1 file the process repeated, now when using any tool except for the brush tool.I have Uninstalled and reinstalled CC cloud suite, and Animate 2xreset my preferencesRemoved my preferences folderUsed the CC cleaner tooleven checked for MalwareAll of course after restarting my computer and saving my work. Everytime I use the brush in Animate or Illustrator (2025) It askes me if it can get permission to screenrecord and record audio so i always click "refuse" it will still happen so I have to go to settings to turn it off everytime. This has been going on for months but thought everytime I tried something in the settings to turn it of It would be gone but it always came back. I really need awnsers because it really exhausting.. I'm also someone whoes new to all of this and never had a macbook/ appleproduct before. Please tell me i'm not the only one with this problem and that its normal. I open animate and  it is stuck at the top of my screen, I can't maximise the window, and hen i click the window, a sound plays---- Once, i got the window to expand but it didnt do anything when i clicked---It didnt say that Adoe animate is not responding on the top of the window.

In an animation im making, i have multiple instances symbols fading in through the alpha color effect in a classic tween. This works fine in the timeline, but once i render it out to an mp4 or test the movie, all of theese effects stop tweening and the symbols just appear without the fade. This used to work fine, but after my file got corrupted, and i used the winrar repair technique to get the file back, this issue suddenly appeared. Is there a way i can fix this neatly? Or is my best bet just transferring everything to another project file?

Hi.  I have a file that had all the symbols in their place.  But when I open it, I get the attached error message and when I click okay, there's nothing in my scene.  I tried downloading the original file backed up on my Google drive but I keep getting the same error.  How can I fix this?

The 315th frame of the character corresponds to the 615th frame in the main timeline. The frames of both the character and the main timeline are equal to each other, both are 936 frames (24 fps). Both are graphic symbols and I marked ''play graphic once'' for the character.Where am I going wrong? I have problems with synchronizing the main page with the character every time. Up until yesterday, Me 2024 would export my animate files.  Now that I added music, it only exports the Mp3 music file.  What went wrong?

I am following the steps to import a Photoshop file into Animate:  Select File > Import To Stage or Import To Library.Navigate to the Adobe Photoshop PSD file to import, select it, and click OK. But  Photoshop doesn't appear in the options even though I  have just saved the file I want to import.Help.  

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing frequent crashes with Adobe Animate on macOS Sequoia 15.3.1. The crashes occur when opening a file or when selecting a color using the Eyedropper tool.My system was recently reinstalled with a clean setup, so there are no leftover files or settings from previous installations. I have tried both the latest version of Adobe Animate 2024 (24.0.7) and the 2023 version (23.0.10), but both versions have the same issue.Has anyone else encountered this problem? Working with Mac on Sequoia, the Onion Skin mode doesn't work in any of the recent versions of Animate. It doesn't select any frames. It's been very tiring asking for help. I've been on several calls and Adobe doesn't do anything. I don't know what to do.

When I want to open Actions  (F9) Animate will crash. I don't get an error message from the application.I uninstalled Aminate, deleted the Animate and Animate Common folders in AppData/Roaming/Adobe  and the Animate 2024 folder in AppData/Local/Adobe but the problem is still there.Can someone help me with this? Some extra info:Adobe Aminate 24.0 Build 305Windows 11 Version 22H2HP Zbook 15 G6

I downloaded Animate for the first time and it crashes whenever I create a new document. I've tried v23 with no luck. My drivers and PC are up to date. All other Adobe products work fine. Any suggestions? Win 10-pro12th gen Core i732 GB ramNvidia RTX A10001TB SSD

So, I installed Premier a few weeks ago.  Today, I tried using the first program, Adobe Animate. The program loads this error: "Unable to multiply Transform. GDI Status: ^1"  when the application starts, and does not stop giving the error message.   I have read a few posts from people who recieve the error for small things, ie. when they import media.  And even those folks, who have seemed to try everything, are unable to bypass the error.  And I'm left wondering, what hope do I have?  When I moved to purchase Adobe on the web, the website was unable to complete the purchase, and I had to complete the purchase over chat.  I'm wondering if All of the software might have major compatability issues. Would I benefit from returning to a less buggy version?  How do I find older versions of the Animate Software?
