Questions

I don't even know where to ask this, or whether this is a problem with Animate CC or something else, but I'm posting it here. So I've spent the past few weeks working on an animation. I've had Adobe Animate CC open the whole time, except for one point where it crashed. When it did, I kinda freaked out because I hadn't saved, but luckily flash recovered it as a RECOVER file. I assumed all was well, and continued working, while saving as I went along. I stopped working on the project for a week or so, and now it's gone from my computer. Or, at the very least, I can't find it. It's first save was when it crashed, so i don't know where it saved to. The other possibility is that it was never locatable via Finder/Desktop, as I have never seen any trace of it besides in Animate CC. In the past, I've been opening it via the "Open Recent" option, but now it's not there either. I'm so confused, and a bit panicky about this, so any help is appreciated.

Hi everyone,I am trying to apply an erase effect to a jpg file. I want the lower one to be visible as I erase the upper one from two separate layers. I made an example of this. But I had to "break apart" the jpg file. However, I saw at the address below that this can be done with JQuery to image files (PNG, JPG). I added JQuery to my project by following the Global>include steps from the actions panel. I made the image object on the layer that I want to apply the erase effect to a movie clip and set its instance name as "myImage". As in this JQuery explanation, I also wrote the following code to the first frame on a separate layer. "$('#myImage').eraser({});"However, no matter what I did, I couldn't get the result. I can't apply the erase effect to the upper image. I'm creating a simple graphical animation that involves shape tweens to show circles forming with other circles. In the preview, everything looks great. The three yellow circles move towards the blue circle in the center and change into their color, as seen below. They're using Shape Tweens with "Quad Ease-In-Out" as the effect.  However, after I export the .fla file to a .mp4 using Adobe Media Encoder, it looks like this: For some reason, three black lines appear connecting the origin of the circles to their final destination. I did tons of searches, but I was unable to find someone who had a similar issue. Anybody know what is going on?

Bildiğiniz gibi Flash Player 2022 de kaldırılmıştı. Bu konuda şirket ne düşündü bilmiyorum ama uygulamanın kullanıcılarının bir kısmının mağdur edildiği kesin. Mesela flash ile oynanabilen oyunları oynamamız için uygulamaya ihyiyaç vardır. Ancak elimlzde bir çevrimdışı kurulum dosyası da mevcut değildir. Zaten olabilse de kuruluma destek te verilmemektedir. Oysa hala günümüzde bu uygulamanın ürettiği kullanım alanlarında beklengisi olan milyonlarca kişiler var. Ben ikincil hatta üçüncül bir sayfadan indirmeye bile razı olanlardan oldum. Fakat kurulum için bir destek kaldırılmamalıydı diyenlerdenim. Adobe bu konuda bizlere nasıl yardım edebilir. Ne dersiniz.

 Is there a way to export the animation or PNG Sequence in "FAST" quality, identical to how it looks in Preview mode?Look, the image on the right is in "Fast" mode from the preview. It looks a bit more pixelated, and it looks much better in motion. If anyone knows, please help!

Hello Adobe Animate Staff.Just finished working on an Adobe Animate File for 4hrs and it has dissapeared!I saved it into the Folder and it was there. Now it is gone!The file is not even in the Recent Files.Its just gone.I don't understand how this can happen, as there is no way the file would have been completely deleted, but I can't seem to find it.I'm on a Mac, reading the forums I went to~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 2017/en_US/Configuration/I actually found the file in /tmp folder.Please look into this, as I nearly had a heart attack!Why is the file not in Recent?Why did the application Remove the .fla from my computers folder!Did it get confused with the auto delete RECOVER file and also REMOVE the .fla from my computer?FYI 

Everytime I animate or write on Adobe Animate, a weird line appears connecting between the last and latest point I draw at. Please help! 😞

Hello EveryoneI have a Philips E-Line Display 65BDL4052E/02 65" Powered by Android, Multi-touchhttps://www.documents.philips.com/assets/20240207/214386068a8145798304b10f0121d676.pdf I am making a 2D motion graphic for an exhibition - I started in AfterEffects but when I realised the screen above would allow interactivity I have now remade the motion graphic in Animate.The idea is that there is a journey goes from A to Z however it would be great if you could tap on an image along the way and it pops up an explanation of where you are, then carries on. Also I could add a navigation at the bottom of the screen where you could rewind forward or backward to D E or F etc on a timeline style map.I am making it on a mac and have the adobe cc suite.I used to use Director and then Flash but havent animated anything for many years!My question is which code do I use for the interactivity, how do I save it, will it work on Android Multi touch (doesnt need to be multi but thats what it has)Tha

So I have been having an issue with adobe products for a while, specifically in regards to the pen pressure or lack there of. Whenever I am drawing the pen would suddenly start lagging and then instead of continuing the stroke as I had drawn it, there will be a straight line from the last mark I made and where my pen currently is on the tablet. I posted an example of what im describing below.  The pen pressure randomly came back once, but after I restarted my computer it dissapeared again. I am drawing on a huion kamvas gt-191 and I have the Windows Ink box checked, but I seriously don't know what I can possibly do to fix this.   Another thing worth mentioning is that this only happens with my drawing tablet, when I draw with the mouse there is no lag or random straignt lines. 

I see all lot of people using macromedia flash 8 Pro for sick animation just wanted to make sure it's ok because, my former instructor told me to use it since adobe doesn't use it anymore 

Hi all, I use CS6 and I was wondering if there's a way for me to move keyframes and at the same time the frame number changes with it?For example I have a keyframe at frame 2 and I want to move it to frame 10. I want it's frame number to automatically change to 10 as well instead of staying at 2.When I edit client work it's very tedious for me to go through each frame and change them one by one. Thanks in advance!

Hello,I just updated to Animate CC 2017.  When I use the direct selection key "v" on the keyboard, there's no longer a bounding box around my selection...ie I can't see what I've selected.  I know it's actually selecting things because I can select and delete or move no problem.  The problem is that there's no bounding box indicating what's selected or if anything is selected.  It's driving me crazy.  Any solutions or is this a bug?Also, and more of a minor issue, I'm having a problem with the free transform tool, "q" on the keyboard.  When I move the pivot point to a corner, to rotate not from the centre, the object is displaced way out of the bounding box...making life annoying.  When I do rotate, everything works and the image is snapped back to where it should be.  Also, the new pivot point isn't remembered when I make a new keyframe.  This used to work fine in the previous version of animate.Thanks,André

Hey. So ive been using adobe animate for about 5 years now, and have upgraded laptops 2 times since then but it always seems like no mater how much more processor speed or ram I upgrade too Animate ALWAYS has lagging issues. Now whenever I try to use the line tool or shapes tool it lags like i'm trying to process nasa level equasions. I was looking how to go back to more primitive versions of flash (since all the tools I use have been around since it was adobe flash) and coulnd't find it on the pro design tools website? Since creative clowd will only let me download 23 and up is there any way to go back to the most privitive version of adobe animate? Please help as I'm seriously worried I'm gonna have to start shilling out another 6 grand or so a year on a new comp just to keep up with the ever increasing demands of the newest adobe software when I only use it in the most basic tools like pencil, shapes, and of course the layer linking.  Honestly the effects in my v

Hey, I need to trigger an animation within the canvas from an button outside the canvas. This should be possible right? Please be patient, I'm a newbie in javascriptAnimations within a scene are played and paused by the functions stop and play in this case. These are functions of the respective scene object afaik. The object is normally called by the keyword "this". The idea I came up withI thought I can just pass the object "this" to the Event-Function I define, like this:const myButton = document.getElementById('myButtonId'); myButton.addEventListener('click', myFunction(this)); The Event-Function looks like this:function myFunction(object) { object.play(); } This doesn't work. Can someone explain why? I could just make a new layer in Animate CC and put the button on the top most layer but this is not a solution for me today. I would like to solve this problem, and be able to use elements outside the canvas for reasons.

liebe leute,folgendes problem habe ich jetzt schon länger: animate 2024 stürzt bei mir (imac 2019, ventura 13.0.1) ständig ab. bis jetzt habe ich das so gelöst: ich verwende nur animate 2023 (letzte version), da gibt es keine abstürze. bis jetzt - ich versuche gerade mit rigging zu arbeiten, und jetzt stürzt mir animate 2023 auch ab.soll ich auf das neueste macos wechseln? hilft das was? ich hab hier in den foren nur einen tipp dazu entdeckt: alles deinstallieren und dann nur eine version installieren - hilft das? hat jemand ähnliche erfahrungen? ich arbeite schon lange mit animate und bin die zahlreichen bugs mittlerweile gewohnt und auch die zahlreichen workarounds, aber das nervt jetzt doch ein wenig ...liebe grüße!leopold

Hello !  I recently changed my computer and it appears that the zoom preset tab (50%/75%/100%) doesnt work anymore on my new device.Everytime i click it it only makes a sound but doesnt adjust to the selected zoom. The manual zooming tool works perfectly fine, so i'm not sure what to do about it, the presets have been  part of my workflow for years.  I tried to delete my preferences, reinstall, etc but nothing seem to work.  if anyone faced the same issue and managed to fix it, you would save me big time !  

1. Make a colored square 20x20 px.2. Convert it to movieclip (with registration center)3. Edit the movieclip and move/align the square to left/top (so that registration/transformation point is 0:0)4. Exit the movieclip5. Resize/transform the movieclip (simply drag one of the corners)6. Note that the registration point is no longer at 0:0  - the more you resize the movieclip, the more the transformation point gets offset.  

Hello exparts, I'm very new to animate . Sometime when I try to animate the camera it shakes a lot. I am fgetting fustrated and can't find any solloutions . Please someone save my sanity and tell me how to fix this.
