Hi!I've been editing just under 2000 photos in ACR and after I was done I renamed all the raw files. As I have done countles times before with other file groups. However, this time all the edits I had done to the photos have dissappeared. I checked the hidden xmp files and their names are changed also so there should be no problem linking the files together but for some reason none of the changes I made, show up. I tried reverting the names back to the originals but this had no effect. Xmp files also reverted back but still no edits are shown. I tried opening a file in ACR to see if bridge was just not showing the changes but no, the file was completely untouched. Anyone have any suggestions on what else I could try? Using Bridge CC version 10.0.3 on a Mac. How can I update keywords and collections in Bridge 2020 from 2019.I use the same folders but I'm not having the same informations in Bridge 2020. Thank you for answerAndrea

In Germany we had the letter "ß" like "ss" in other states . If I use this letter in a keyword tag -  "weiß" for example, there ist no result in the keyword search results. If i rewrite it from "ß" to "ss" the search works. Is there any setting to use the german "ß" in search tags? The other umlauts does work for example "ä" or "ü" . 

When I go to add a label to a newly edited photo, once labled it loses it's rating.  This has been frustrating because I am editing A LOT of photos at a time and the usuable/rated images when labled dissapear to the depths of the unrated images after losing their 5-star rating.   Any suggestions?  Using Adobe Br 2020 and have NEVER had this issue before.

I exported a folder of 250 photos as shared cache on a nas server. Browsing with another computer does import the cache, but Bridge CC still takes a lot of time to generate thumbails and previews. What is this exported cache for, then? Thanks 

I was on a commerical shoot this week and wanted to evaluate what I had created with my client on location. I went to open Bridge but kept getting the message that it could not establish a connection and therefore could not authenticate me.  Not only was this highly embarassing but we also lost a lot of time, meaning the shoot had to be extended for which the client will not compenate me for.  I would like some sort of compensation as this is a service I pay for and could not use through no fault of my own. This is a direct consequnece of Adobe operating in the cloud without a back up mechanisim for when you are on location and have no 3G or 4G coverage.  I talked to the customer help team who where no help and just told me to post on here. 

I'm new to Bridge so probably a dumb question,. I've set up a range of keywords and sub-keywords (thus creating categories) for each image and I now want to search via the keywords, selecting options within each category (or master keyword) I have set up. But I can only find a way to search all keywords in a single bucket, very inefficient. Surely there is a way to search using the categories set up?     (Attachment Removed and image placed inline with the test. Done by Mod JSM)

I've tried many times to export my keywords (60+) in bridge. However, once I go to the saved text file it only has the defult keywords that comes preinstalled with Bridge.  It seems like a pretty straight fowrward process. https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/using/keywords-adobe-bridge.html#import_or_export_keywords Not sure why this is not working. The previews in Bridge/Camera Raw for one of my cameras looks as they did whan I captured the images, then they go very dark.  I'm shooting with a DJI M2P drone, and I adjust exposure based on the image preview in the Smart Controller. The previews in Bridge look many stops darker than they did on the Smart Controller monitor. But for a second while Bridge is generating preview, the images look as they did on the Smart Controller. The images remain dark in Raw Reader. (very under exposed) The captures are saved as DNG. I'm guessing that somehow the embedded sidecar settings are not being properly read by Bridge/Raw Reader. Perhaps raw reader doesn't have the proper setting for that camera like it has for my DSLR. Or perhaps there is something in Bridge/Camera Raw Prefs that needs adjustment? The key here is that before the previews in Bridge are completely generated, the images look far closer the the captures when I took them than they do after the previews are updated.

I have some A5 pdfs with text and bar codes.In Bridge cc2017 i create a new Output PDF with 2 document in each A4 page (1 column, 2 raws), so I can print on a A4 laser printer avoiding paper waste.I set the quality cursor to MAX and resolution to 300, but in the resulting PDF the quality is very low (the bar codes aren't readable). The original A5 documents are perfect. How can I solve the issue?Thanks

When I use Bridge-Photo Downloader to import Sony ARW raw files the metadata in any of my metadata templates that I try to apply are not attached to XMP sidecar files, unlike when I import Canon CR2 raw files.  I can attache metadata to my Sony ARW raw files in Bridge via Tools>Append Metadata, but sometimes it is more convenient to add the metadata during import. Is the ability to add metadata to raw files on import a feature only available with Canon CR2 files?  Does Adobe plan to implement this capability for Sony ARW raw files?

Hi, What is the maximum number of previews you can see as you select them in the Content window. The maximum I've been able to put up is 9, is there another configuration of the windows, or a workspace that works better to see more than 9 previews? Thank you

I have been developing a Bridge script to call Adobe DNG Converter as it has a command line interface. However, Windows pops up an ugly command window when using app.system().   After some research, I've been able to call the DNG Converter silently using vbs and powershell.   You assemble a powershell command and write it to a .vbs (plain text) script file, then use file.execute() to run that script. Hi, I have created metadata for MP4 videos but they don't appear in the properties and no update is showing. I've done matadata for photos with IPTC Core without it being an issue but it doesnt seem to work for videos. I have been running tests both using the IPTC Core and the Video parts, still nothing updates itself in the properties. I am running out of ideas, anyone knows how to fix this issue?

When I select multiple (say 5) images in Bridge and edit them in Camera Raw, I return to Bridge and new thumbnails/previews are created. Normal behaviour so far. But the original selection is messed up: in the filmstrip I can see 5, sometimes other numbers of images selected, but in the preview pane I can only see one. Also, under the filmstrip it says "1 selected". So the original selection is lost, and mispresented. This is very annoying if I want to change the same selection of images a multiple times. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix or workaround (apart from reselecting the images manually every time)?Win10 Home, all apps up to date. I've added three screenshots: 1- selection of 5 images before editing in ACR2- after editing in ACR: the selection has changed allthough 5 images are still marked as selected in filmstrip.3- same as 2, but now only 4 images are marked as selected (for unknown reason).

double click on image in adobe bridge file should open in photoshop , this was my previous setting this tool is not working  anyone here who can helpThanks in adavnce

How to batch delete RAW files, but only if the matching JPG file doesn't exist?

I am using Adobe Bridge 2018cc  on a Mac using high Sierra to retrieve pictures taken with a Canon Rebel T3i.  When I put in a 64 gb memory card, Bridge shows "none detected"but gives a menu. When I open the menu it shows the file twice.I in this case the card is labeled Alaska, so Bridge shows this as Alaska1 and Alaska2.  If you down load both you will find they contain the exact same pictures, but one file  includes  a CTG file and one does not.   When I use a 32 GB memory card is immediately detects the card and  shows only one set of pictures.  On the 64MB card the pictures in the two files recorded are exactly the same ( in this case all raw). If I go directly to the memory card itself and open it up on the desktop it shows that in reality there is only one file and one set of pictures.If I switch back to using a  32gb card with no other changes, Bridge works just fine.The 64 GB card is a SanDisk extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I card. I'm new to Bridge, wanted to find duplicates using Batch rename. Rename in same folder, metadata, date and time. Now I can't find my pictures, original folders are empty, metadata has a few of the pictures and the rest are missing, help! Is there any way of undoing whar I've done.Thanks

Hi i have tasks where i need to convert raw images to tiff but i need to automate over many folders. Its easy to open one folder into camera raw and save images to tiff with the dialog but i would like to automate that task over many folders. Any ideas? thanks

I understad how to move files from my folders in Bridge into my libraries using the Libraries panel, but how do I move files from my library into my bridge folders?

HelloI think I may know the answer to this question but as I'm not at all knowledgeable on technical issues, I thought it best to ask just in case there is a solution.I recently migrated Adobe Bridge CS4 from my old iMac to my new iMac running OS Catalina and I find I can't open it and this dialogue box comes up.along with this one.  Is there a solution, as all my images are located in this older version of bridge and I really didn't want keep switching between computers?Any help would be appreciated.Many thanks in advance.
