It has been some time since HEIC support was added to photoshop and camera raw for windows, and recently also added to Bridge. But still we cannot change the camera raw preferences to edit both jpeg, heic and tiffs with camera raw, nor right click an heic file and open it via camera raw. The only way to do so is to open up each image in photoshop and then open them in camera raw. Good luck when you have hundreds of images...

I have multiple photoshoots that i manage in bridge, in seporate folders. I need to start sharing these photos to a broad team, using libraries. I also want have the team easily search for the photos that they want based on descriptions (electrical, painting, plumbing etc). It seams easy enough to add the description to one file at a time but as soon as i select multiple I loose that option. I tried doing the same in the creative cloud app but even if i select multiple items it only changes the description of the last item selected.  How is this done?

I'm trying to associate my MP4 videos to open in Media Player but I can't find the EXE file when I click browse. I have found the legacy Windows Media Player (wmplayer.exe) in...C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player But, where do I browse to for the new Media Player app?  Thanks!

I do so appreciate that Bridge remains an open app while using my iMac (always up to date), but I find that when quitting Bridge, I have to go through the FORCE QUIT in the Apple menu; the normal quit does nothing.  Anyone with similar experiences?

Habe plötzlich diese Meldung und Camera RAW lässt sich aus der Bridge nicht mehr starten. PS auf neuesten Stand upgedatet, ohne Erfolg. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich das Problem löse?

When I start Adobe Bridge 2024 it is always minimised to the task bar.It never opens fullscreen. I've deinstalled, removed all preferences, purged all of the caches (re-started with Alt + Ctrl + shift) But the application just stays minimised in the Task bar. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Adobe Bridge v2024. 14.1.2

My workflow uses Bridge to copy images to an external SSD, from which I select the photos I want to import into LrC. I am running macOS Sequoia on an M3 MacBook with lots of ram. All has worked well until, suddenly, the whole process has slowed to a crawl. The photo downloader takes an age to load/render the thumbnails so that on a big CFExpress A card it can take many minutes just to get through that first stage. Once selected, the photos are also taking much longer to copy over.I have tried different cards and readers but the result is the same. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Bridge.What is confusing to me is that it was working fine after the Bridge 2025 update and I don't think there have been any other updates since. anyone else sharing this experience?

Depuis plusieurs années j'utlise le module de sortie dans Bridge pour généré des planches contact pour mes clients. Depuis la MAJ je n'arrive pas à finaliser mes PDF, le programme me dit qu'il est impossible de généré un pdf et que la cause est inconu. J'ai redémarer mon ordinateur,  fait du ménage sur mon disque dur,  des idées ? 

I'm not sure what's going on with the new Bridge, but I finally got fed up with it enough to remove it and go back to the previous version. While 2022 isn't perfect, it's at least usable. I'm not sure why a software company would remove features that have been baked into their product for years, but it is extremely annoying and gives the impression that the developers don't have any idea what's important to their users. This is glaringly obvious with the newest version of Bridge. Stuff that has been a part of my normal workflow either isn't available anymore or doesn't work as it should. BASIC functions like deleting files, opening multiple windows, and even knowing what file or folder is selected are either gone or are glitchy.  I've joked for a while now that Adobe started following the Microsoft model for rolling out products before they were thouroughly vetted and tested, but the newest Bridge takes the cake for what not to do when developing a new version of a

Anyone else having problems after importing photos from a Nikon Z9 off a CF express B card not deleting even though the delete after import is selected?!

I have the file associations set the way I want them, although half the time bridge does not follow my selections. And it will randomly decide to change the ones it does acknowlege and I can't change them back. I want PNGs, JPEGs and TIFFs to default toPhotoshop, not Illiustrator, but I'm stuck changing them manually every time I want to open one. How can I stop this. It may not seem to be a big thing, but it slows my work process down considerably.

I'm wondering if there is any keyboard command, or way to set a keyboard command, to save ACR edits and stay in Bridge. I've figured out multiple ways of opening ACR while staying within Bridge (keyboard and mouse). But I cannot figure out how to just click "Done" and save the ACR edits to file/xmp. "Esc" gives me the option of closing Bridge and not saving the settings; or, various key combinations can open the file in various ways in PS. But I don't want to go to PS. How do I just save ACR settings in Bridge via keyboard? Is this possible? MacOS v15.1; Bridge 15.0; ACR v17.0.1; PS v26.1

Hi everyone,I’m experiencing some unusual issues with Adobe Bridge and Camera Raw. When I load 24-megapixel RAW images into Camera Raw from Bridge, my VRAM fills up incredibly fast. I’m using a GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM, but it’s fully utilized almost immediately, which seems strange since Adobe recommends only 2GB VRAM for optimal performance.The high VRAM usage sometimes causes Camera Raw to lag significantly, and then my regular RAM usage (32GB) also spikes to the max. This is especially odd, given that I’m only working with single 24MP files and not with high-resolution 100MP files from a Fujifilm GFX or similar.For troubleshooting, I’ve already cleared the Bridge cache, but still, any minor adjustments to sliders in Camera Raw instantly consume several more GB of RAM.Has anyone else experienced this issue, or are there any suggestions for reducing this excessive memory usage? My system should handle these files easily, so any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!Than

I have 100's of files to browse through, and have a list of filenames to search for, but can't see how to enter this data to search. I was hoping to search in Bridge with 'Filename' and a list pasted in the Enter Text file, but it doesn't appear to work.Thanks in advance

Hello, I recently attempted to use the move feature to move an MP4 from my SD card to my Hard drive using bridge. I selected the wrong destination folder, and cancelled the move to select the correct destination, however the original MP4 File is no longer on my SD Card and appears to be gone. I am using Adobe Bridge 2023 on Mac, and searched both finder and the trash to no avail. Is the MP4 gone forever? Thanks!

Old Bridge had a function to save the cache to folders.  Why has it been removed in the cloud version? It also seems that I can't even save the Bridge cache to my C drive.   It appears that the only cache option is that it's saved on the cloud, rather than in my C drive.  I really don't like this as the cloud may not be available. Feature request:  bring back the function to save the cache to folders.  This is better for file saving of individual folders (and their subfolders) rather than having to have one whopper sized Bridge Cache file. Thanks.

Hello allI really need help with this. My colleagues and I use Adobe Bridge to create contact sheet PDF files for client approvals. We place hires transparent PNG files, and export to PDF withh various page layouts (i.e. different numbers of images per page), depending on the client.In the more recent versions of CC (newer that 2018), I have found that hte file size of these PDF files is usually prohibitively big (as we want to be able to emails them to clients with limited bandwidth, and also not clog up our email storage). Instead of being around 1MG in size (which is what I can produce when re-exporting the PDF from InDesign (placing the Bridge-created PDF file into InDesign and exporting a 300dpi interactive PDF), the PDFs from Bridge range between 5 and 30 MG in size.This happens regardless of export image quality settings. Optimising the files after the cae like I do in InDesign is not an option (nor is it viable for us to optimise through Acrobat DC, as this compresses imag

Hi! I use PhotoMechanic to organize my sports photos and am used to using Code Replacements to label the players in photos. I would like to switch this all over to Bridge, but would need an alternative to code replacements for Bridge. This would include using a delimeter and then typing the number of a player and having it replace that with the player's name, number and year in the IPTC description. Does anyone know if there is a way to do this in Bridge?

I have a requirement here, but also some doubts, so I would like to receive some hints… here are the facts: RequirementAlmost always, after generating a .jpg (or .png) file at the end of a typical Photoshop processing section, I rename it, replacing the name automatically generated by the camera (essentially, an abstract progressive code) with a self-explanatory one (such as: "maple in autumn.jpg"). By doing so, however, I lose the link between the .jpg file and the RAW from which it was derived.Sometimes, however, I have happened to "rethink" the result of an elaboration and therefore want to redo it to modify it accordingly, but, having lost the link between the jpg and the RAW, I have to remember it by myself or waste time trying to recover the "right" RAW (perhaps by dint of attempts between several RAWs that are almost identical... I know that I could also save the processed file in Photoshop's .psd f

When I click on the ‘Desktop’ folder on the left, Bridge crashes.

I posted the following a while ago and it STILL HASN'T BEEN FIXED.There are some changes in the cloudBridge (compared to 2010) that have been useless.  Eg Metadata info in the Metadata panel has wastefully and unnecessarily been indented so the palette needs to be widened far more to be able to see the information.  +Why do the indent?  There was NOTHING achieved by it.So a feature request:  Do not indent the Metada information.

I am unable to open use the "Load Files into Photoshop Layers" tool in Bridge.This is an essential part of my workflow.I am using PS 26.0 and Bridge 15.0.0.397 on a brand new MBP OS 15.1The odd thing is it worked a few times but then stopped.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps and restarted computer many times.Any thoughts?
