With Bridge 9.1.0.338 on Windows 10 1809: The error occurs when I minimize Bridge whether it is fullscreen or not, and then bring it back to view, the panels on the left and right sides disappear. Here is a screen capture of the error: Adobe Bridge Bridge 9.1.0.338 Panels Error on Vimeo. The error does not occur on the previous version and does not happen when I revert back to the previous version of Bridge. Anyone else having this error? {Thread renamed by moderator}
The Preview panel draws thumbnails incorrectly. Labels are sometimes partially shaded and filenames overlap. Varying the size of the Preview panel or changing the UI element size sometimes fixes this and sometimes causes it.
Aloha all!I'm teaching a photography class, and each week I download students' work onto the classroom computer and use Bridge to apply meaningful keywords related to discussion topics I want to pursue. I do most of this work outside of class hours. Been doing this for years, but this year, it has finally occurred to me that working in front of the classroom computer is really complicating my life. In the first place, I have to schedule my work around other classes. In the second place, it's ergonomically a nightmare. So, no readon I can't copy those files to an external drive and do the work in my comfy office, right? Except, the list of keywords I use gets more extensive with each assignment I give them. As we get to more advanced levels of instruction, so, too, does my need for certain examples get more specific. What's the best way to keep the list of keywords synchronized between 2 or more computers? And, if the answer involves Cloud storage of some form, the
I have a script which sets font size for an edittext box. This works in Bridge 12 but not in Bridge 15 beta.Below is a demo script that shows the problem. try{ testWindow = new Window ('palette', 'font demo', undefined, {closeButton:true}); testWindow.orientation = 'column'; testWindow.alignChildren = ['fill', 'fill']; testWindow.minimumSize = [300, 200]; testPanel = testWindow.add('panel', undefined, 'Test'); testPanel.orientation = 'column'; testPanel.alignChildren = ['fill', 'top']; testPanel.margins = [10, 10, 10, 10]; testPanel.minimumSize = [250, 175]; testPanel.textbox = testPanel.add('edittext', undefined, 'ABC'); testPanel.checkbox = testPanel.add('checkbox', undefined, 'Larger'); testPanel.checkbox.value = false; testPanel.checkbox.onClick = function(){ if(testPanel.checkbox.value == true){ if(Folder.fs == 'Windows'){ testPanel.textbox.graphics.font = 'Tahoma:16'; } else{ testPanel.textbox.graphics.font = 'Ari
Bonjour,J'aurais voulu changer les paramêtres d'accès aux dossier ( bureau, images, téléchargements, etc.) qui on été définit lors de la première ouverture de Bridge.Merci pour vos retours.
Running Bridge v14.1.2.300 on a Mac Pro Intel. OSX 14.6.1. When I open a RAW file in Camera Raw, Bridge/ACR automatically adds "-2" to the TIFF file name. This is a new problem, probably related to the latest update. Any suggestions on how to prevent this will be appreciated!
Bridge changes the open folders when changing the workspace. I don't want the open folders to be saved as part of that workflow layout. I don't want files from months ago to replace my open folders when I change the workspace. For example, if I'm in one workspace and am working on folder A, but also have B and C open, then I switch the workspace and folder A does remain open as the active folder, but I lose folders B and C and now I have folders X, Y, and Z open because they happened to be open when I created the workspace. The workspace should IGNORE the folders that are open at the time you create or save it, and just remember the layout. Folders shouldn't be saved as part of the layout. Instead, when you change a workspace, all open folders should continue to be the open folders in the workspace you shift over to. How do I stop Bridge from saving the folders as part of the layout. It says in the guide that this CAN be done via the preferences settings, but it doesn't
Metadata, Keywords, photo information not displaying,If I go to essentials, I find them populated.Metadata fields are very small, difficult to write to them, Changed over the years from original versions of Bridge, keep getting smaller. Seems like each time I update Bridge or PS, something changes, not necessarily improvements! I am shooting in RAW and Jpeg with Canon Mirrorless - Bridge is often NOT RESPONDING - freezes!Running Windows 10 on desktop PC.
When will scrolling in Br 13-15 be restored to the performance of V12?You never seem to want to answer this, why is that?So, please answer. 1. Do you know whats causing the horrible performance in 13 and newer?2 CAN you restore the speed to V12 when it comes to scrolling, moving and everything in the content window / panel? 3. If so, are you working on it, since it should be No1 priority?4. If not, why are ypu not talking about this with us? Cant you see that a lot of people are talking about this and want answers? Bridge isn't usable with the slow performance and new features arent needed as on now.
I've triple checked all of my boxes when using image processor. I've used it for many many years and have never experienced this issue. But I'm trying to use Image Processor in Bridge to export my files to either tiff or jpg, and for some reason it's automatically converting them to grayscale in the processing. I have no actions selected to do that. Any guesses? Is this a bug? Images were captured with a Canon 5d MKIV, and sharpened with DXO PRIME. But to be clear, even images not sharpened with DXO PRIME are being converted to grayscale. Attached are screenshot of my Image Processor settings, and the versions of PS and BR I'm running. Help! 🙂
Can someone assist me with installing bridge. Everytime I try to install bridge it stops and says "Save your work close the following programs before continuing." But I have nothing to save or close. I am trying to open bridge but it wont open and it ask me to install it first. Can anyone give me advice on what would be the next step? Thanks!

Is it a known issue that Adobe Bridge cannot extract metadata from videos shot with iphone? i'd like to use bridge to isolate the photos that were shot in 4K. I think it's preposterous that the metadata is not showing given that many audiovisual professionals use their iPhones to shoot videos. Adobe and Apple engineers have to sit down around the table and fix this issue as soon as possible
Hi, Everyone,I subscribe monthly and have the latest version of Photoshop which, of course, includes Bridge. I am using a PC with Windows 11 64 bit. Everything works well except Find in Bridge. It just does not work.As a test I searched for an image by title and searhed the folder that I knew it was in but, as always, the search result states No items to Display.Can someone please tell me if there is a way I can fix this.Your help would be much appreciated.Colin
After the last upgrade to 14.1.2 Bridge does not start.The MAC gives this warning:!Adobe Bridge 2024.app is damaged and cannot be opened!.I tried three times to uninstall and reinstall, but absolutely no success!::::::::::14.6.1 (SONOMA)2.3 GHz Hintel Core i9 8 core32 GB DDR4
I am using the latest version of Bridge on Windows (just installed) and I am not seeing any XMP metadata in the Metadata Placard, which I know my JPG files contain. I see IPTC Core and Extension, Exif, et al., but no XMP. This seems very strange, as I might have expected to see XMP by default. More specifically, I am not seeing XMP:Subject keywords. Any thoughts?
I am consistently having Bridge resize images on Custom Export even when I set the scaling to 100% and incorrectly sizing images when I specify Fit to Long Edge. They are all shrinking down to about 5% with almost every image going to 252x189pixels when the originals are Original Files are HEIC (iPhone) and exporting to Jpeg quality 10. Anyone know what I could possibly be doing wrong?
I will attempt to make this as brief as possible, but it may run too long for some folks. In short, the Bridge 13/14 era has been a large waste of time and resources from the perspective of many Adobe customers who have been using Br as an integral part of our commercial business practices ever since it was first introduced back in 2005. I was invited to join the Bridge Prerelease Team by Chris Cox shortly thereafter. I have run my professional workflows through many dozens of prerelease (PR) builds since that time. My studio currently employs Br 12.0.4.286 Release as the only version of Bridge organizing our productivity. I refused to migrate to Br 13 and continue to reject the idea of migrating to Br 14. Let me be clear. Nothing about what I say here should be understood as advocating that those who have already drunk the Br 13 or 14 Kool-Aid should revert to Br 12. I will, however, encourage those who have wisely remained with Br 12 in light of the
Hi all, how can I get .heic thumbnails to show in Bridge? See attached. Windows 11Adobe Bridge Version: 12.0.1.246 I have the "HEVC Video Extensions from Device Manufacturer" installed and I can view the files in File Explorer and Photos. Anyone knows how to get the thumbnails to work in Bridge? Thanks.
Hi yall, just got it confirmed by Adobe's official channel on Twitter that previewing images with the .heic format is not supported by Adobe Bridge at the moment. This is news to me and this is a request for any Adobe official to please register this as a feature request since it breaks an important way of using Adobe Bridge. If an image with the .heic extension is stored locally and previewed it works.If an image with the .heic extension is stored on Onedrive and previewed it does not work (see attached image). Let me know if more info about this is needed.
HEIC Images are blurry in full screen preview or normal preview. JPG are displayed normally.
Hi,trying to export a HEIC image in Bridge makes the exported Image blurry with low resolution. This appers only with HEIC Images (from iPhone). It looks like not the original Image is used for exporting, but instead the thumbnail from the previev. Imported HEIC images in Lightroom classic export as expected.So my question is: how to export a Heic image from Bridge with other Resolution as JPG? Regards Mikel
Starting with 4036x3024 HEIC generated on iPhone Xr. In Bridge batch convertng to JPG and saving into a folder within the original folder. Scale set at 100%. I get a 240x320 JPEG postage stamp as shown below. Tried "resize to fit" using original height and width but that only generates an error when processing. (I love how HEIC isn't supported on uploading sample files, too) If I didn't know that the good folks at Adobe knew better, I'd think someone is working with image preview data rather than the image itself.
I've said 2023 and Windows 11, but this issue has been happening for years.Yes, I have HEIC codec installed from the Microsoft Store. The files open fine in Photoshop. Please help. I used to love Bridge, but as an iPhone user, it's completely useless and frustrating.I have the latest versions of everything as delivered by CC Desktop.
No matter what I do with resize options, I can't export jpegs (from .HEIC iphone images) without shrinking the image to ~10% of what it was before. For example 4032x3024 HEIC image becomes 416x312 pixels: no matter if resize is set to 100% or some custom resize "along long edge" is set to arbitrary number. No such problem with PNG, sized 100% (except it changes DPI to 300 and changes gamma? slightly) I'm using the latest version of Adobe Bridge, updated today, on Windows 11, pretty decent machine. I just wanna batch convert these HEICs to Jpegs! Please don't make an Adobe CC subscriber of many many years have to download a utility to do something this simple.
