Recently, the option click to reset and the shift click to set the Auto value have stopped working in ACR (Mac). Now when I hold down the option key, the "Reset" part at the top of the panel no longer appears. Of course I can reset each slider by double clicking on the arrow on each slider, but it's much slower that way. Also the shift-click on the slider title to set the auto value is not working. Any ideas?
Hello! I was editing photos and when I had all of them selected, I accidentally clicked 'Reset to Default' (under the three dots on the right menu), which, obviously, deleted all the editing settings I had worked on. I tried to undo the changes, but unfortunately, it didn't work as I was unable to get my previous settings back. Clickin ctrl+alt+Z did something, but it definitely didn't bring my original settings back. As I spent quite some time on getting the settings right, is there any way for me to reset what I had already created?
Muchas gracias
I have the latest update installed.... All of the sudden it is taking 10-20 secinds for a jpeg image to open in camera raw.... any help is appriciated... tia....dave
I open a lot of RAW files in Camera Raw and denoise them in Photoshop using an external plugin called Neat Image. When I open the RAW files in Camera Raw for 16bit operation and create an action, if I touch even one option in Camera Raw, it is applied to all the RAW files in bulk. This means that each photo will have a different color temperature.like 4800k for one and 5400k for another. When I opened Camera Raw to create the action, I chose Lighten Exposure to lighten the exposure for all of the photos, and I chose the original value for the color temperature. For example, let's say the original value is 4800k.When I run the action, all the photos are lightened by the specified exposure, which is what I want, but all the photos with a color temperature of 5400K are opened at 4800K. This is not what I want. This seems to be a bug or there is a usage I am not aware of.I need some advice.
Is there a way to lower or disable the Saturation and Vibrancy adjustments made in Auto Mode? I find that there is too much of both applied when I use Auto Mode. I like using Auto overall, I just don't like the Saturation and Vibrancy Adjustments made. This applies to both Camera Raw in Photoshop and Auto in Lightroom Classic.
I have a new laptop and am trying to pull my ACR camera raw presets from my desktop. I have saved them as .xmp files and sent them to my new compuiter to import, but when I follow the import process the .xmp files are grey and wont be selected. They are 5KB each. Help!?
I automatically upgrade my Photoshop and ACR. Have not been using them for a while and today when I open it...all my user presets are gone!!! Is there anyone facing the same issue here? Asking from a sad and frustrated guy. Thanks in advance.
The one that impresses me the most is dehaze. It's almost like it makes a mask for you on the fly and darkens the background, get the clouds visible etc.. amazing too… when was the invented, and how do they do it? Kind of revolutionary no? And texture is sort of sharpening? And clarity is…?
I've moved to a new PC and don't seem to have transferred the Adjustment Pre-sets that normally appear under the Preset dropdown for masks in Camera Raw. I have located the xmp files in appdata/roaming/adobe/cameraraw/localcorrections on my old PC, but when I copy them into the same folder on my new PC, they don't appear in the dropdown list for pre-sets. Can anyone advise please?
I tired with clp and straighten ok (albie a grid come on did not ask for), but alas had to give up as see no way to accept it and get back into the basic tabs. Maybe hidden , how to click ok?
I have Photoshop CS6 and can't afford to upgrade but had to change computers because mine died. When I try to reopen Bridge and Photoshop I don't have the camera raw version to support my Nikon D7200 that was supported in my old comp. Does anyone have a link to a Camera Raw that will work for me? Can't remember which version it was and can't find anything on line. Have a Nikon codec but that doesn't seem to work.
Hi When selecting files from more than one camera, ACR open files from camera at the time and not all together. So now I have to adjust files from my Nikon and open them, then the files from my drone open in ACR, and I can adjust them. This is new, up till now ACR have opened all kind of files together. I'm on a Mac,
Hi, for the longest time I am having issue with ACR, that is fortunately just kinda quality of life thing. Scrolling through menus and filters in ACR is incredibely laggy to a point of me going crazy. Sliders are fine though, they are working fine. The video shown is on a fresh install, so no settings are changed. Tried disabling HW acceleration, no effect. If I open presets window, it's faster, but still noticeable. As I know your first steps, i already deleted ACR preferences - no help. This is happening on windows 11 and it was happening on windows 10 before too.Any help will be highly appreciated. I am out of ideas and I didn't even start.
I edit all of my DNG images in Lightoom, and save the metadata to the files. I then open all of those files (for sharpening and the addition of grain) in a batch action in Photoshop, using Camera Raw, thereby saving a generation step that would be added by exporting directly from Lightroom first. I'm noticing that Lightoom recognizes the built-in Fujifilm lens profiles... But when I open the same file in Photoshop, using Camera Raw, it does not... This is happening with all of my files from a Fuji X-T5 body. No amount of tweaking in Camera Raw will let me get to the actual lens profile, and there's no other way to fix it without exporting from Lightroom first. This is a huge problem, as I'm finalizing a ton of images this way. Is there a solution I'm missing, or is this a major bug? I'm using Camera Raw 15.2, with Photoshop 24.3.0, on a Mac Studio, with Mac 12.5.1.
After a bad experience with adobe support (only in English by the way) I try to post my question here hoping that someone had the same problem solving it. I have had photoshop elements 2023 for a few months and I need to upload some TIF files. The software asks me to install the camera raw plugin which is already installed and even reinstalling it keeps asking. I then followed the instructions on the site by downloading the plugin and following the instructions to go and put the downloaded file in the system folder but even so I always get the pop up that asks the plugin and I can't go on with the job. Does anyone know how to resolve? Thanks.
I installed Ps today and later added DNG Converter/CameraRAw. I cheked the cameraRaw folder te find the profile for my Canon, but the profiles folder is completely empty. How and where can I find the profiles??
Camera: Fujifilm X-H2s Camera Raw: 15.2 version on Win 10 Bug: please compare the two files and adjust the high lights, they are not on the same range I’ve been using Fujifilm X-H2s for a few months, I did a few times of time lapse, I found the raw files sometimes were not on the same exposure, I thought it was the camera’s problem or my wrong operating, until then, I picked the two files and sent to my friend who is using Mac system, and he showed me they were on the same range. Even I asked another friend to try on Win System, he got the same situation, so now I am reporting this to you, any problem please send me Email, <Removed for Privacy>, thanks. The system didn’t allow me to upload raw files, please check this link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Vmw345gNFjmF2urbsUqL2lC7e5usRwMT
Hi there, I'm hoping that I have come to the right place as my issue isn't specifically for Camera Raw but hopefully someone is able to help me. Apologies if this sounds silly! So I started shooting more last year in RAW on my DSLR but always imported the files onto my MAC directly through the camera (I have since bought a card reader to do this) using the Photos app on my Macbook. This probably sounds stupid but I have just realised that all of my photos, including the photos I shot in RAW imported as JPEGs as apparently the Photos app has trouble importing RAW files. I have since cleared my memory cards which deleted the original image files but what I want to know is if it's possible to retrieve the RAW files even though they're all on my external hard drives and on my laptop as JPEGs? Hope that makes sense! Thanks in advance for your help!
This may be specific to Nikon cameras, and I'll mention that I am running ACR on a Windows 10 platform. There is the ability to use profiles that match the camera profiles, and by setting preferences in ACR accordingly they can be used in addition to the Adobe profiles. The attached file "ACRSetupRawDefault" shows how I believe this is done. Then, after ACR opens a RAW file, the color profile information is displayed as shown in the attached file "ACRProfileDisplay1". Note that the selected profile is Camera Standard v2, and the drop down menu allows a variety of Adobe profiles to be selected should I prefer one of them instead of the camera profile. So far, so good. However, there is a problem in my opinion, if I decide to select one of the Adobe profiles in the drop down menu. Once I do that, as shown in "ACRProfileDisplay2", the Camera Standard v2 has disappeared and is no longer available as a selection because it is not included in the drop down menu. The only way to go back to an
Was geschieht genau beim Skalieren?
I am an eperienced, professional Photoshoper user who has worked with Photoshop for over 25 years. I TOTALLY DESPAIR of the way Adobe fiddle with simple, working tools - like the crop tool. None of us where having any problem with cropping things guys. Now, in Adobe Camera RAW there is a new crop feature that I genuinely cannot get to work. At all. We're talking 20 minutes of trying diffenrt things and eventually just outputting the whole image and cropping in Photoshop. On a sclae of 1-10 how successful would you think this has been, really - did you test this abomination outside the office? At the risk of having a rant, as a real-world user who is contantly under time pressures to complete complex tasks, having 'Malcolm in the back room' filling his time by changing the interface really isn't helping. I have already had to get onto Adobe on-line support twice in the past month to have system roll-backs and fixes done in order to get Camera Raw to work. For experineced users the
