Trying to figure out how to toggle a before and after preview of only the last change made in Camera Raw. The \ shortcut allows me to toggle the original and current versions (with all changes) but I'd like to do that for just the last change. Sort of like an undo/redo. Is that possible?
Under Preferences> File Handling> File Compatibiliyt> I have unchecked the "Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for Supported Raw Fiels" boxUnder Preferences> Camera Raw> I've set DNG file handling to ignore sidecar XMP and disabled JPEG & TIFF handlingI closed then restarted Photoshop STILL when I open atttempt to open a Raw Nikon NEF file it FIRST opens in ACR. I've tried opening from within Photoshop and from Windows Explorer. I have a Windows 10 PC using Photoshop V 23.4.1 WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??? Help! - Kevin
Blows my mind how much of a pain this now is and has been for quite some time now. Can't say if this applies solely to 14.3 or if it goes back farther; since I've been dealing more with videos over the past couple years or so. But Jeez! I've a very powerful PC with RTX 3070ti / 64 GB Ram / Ryzen 5950x and fast SD drives. YET, this crap blows. Takes 29 seconds to open up a (nikon) NEF file or (panasonic) RW2 file. If I hit cancel thereafter? Another 9 seconds wasted. Pathetic. I've tried numerous different approaches and it's always the same. Mind numblingly frustrating.
Hi everyoneCamera Raw is not supporting my GPUBut the same is supported on Lightroom and Photoshop.Anyone can solve it?Thanks
I have the oddest little problem. I'm running Windows 10 with the most up to date NVIDIA driver and CC apps. When I open a RAW file, regardless of the program it's being launched from (Bridge or a file manager), the file opens rather slowly and right before it does, a little window opens on the upper left of the screen with what appears to be an error message, however it's only there for a fraction of a second before it disappears. It's not visible long enough to read the message. Flash and it's gone. I get a glimpse of a couple words like "need to" but that's it. This began one or two Camera Raw updates ago. Resetting preferences doesn't seem to make a difference. Camera Raw has set the graphics processor to Auto and says my system supports full acceleration. Changing the processor setting to custom settings doesn't make a difference either. I can't find any other settings that might have an influence. Has anyone else exper
I create one folder in adobe bridge and order my images from both canon r5s in to time order. Ive always been able to group them togther in batches and open and edit them in camera raw. Now all of a sudden camera raw is sperating the to camera bodies in to two seperate foldrs when placing them in camer raw!
Is there a way to open .ORI Olympus RAW file in Camera RAW? Renaming the .ORI ending to .ORF is messy, because the .ORF file is the high res Olympus RAW file (50 or 80 MP). Any way to set Camera RAW up so that it can process .ORI files? Alfred
Up until recently when I adjusted anything in Camera Raw and either continued to ps or clicked done, these settings would stay attached to the file if if was to open the file back up in camera Raw. With the new update, something changed, now I have to re edit in camera Raw everytime. If I have 30 images I have individually adjusted in camera Raw and ps crashes bringing them in....all that work is lost. Please tell me there is a setting or a work around I am missing?
I've recently been attemting to generate Super Resolution files from raw files and have been seeing this message:I've had uniformly good success and great results with the Enhance utility. I recently updated to PS Ver 23.4.1 so I reinstalled PS ver 23.3.2. Unfortunately< I'm seeing the same error message. The raw files are Sony A6500 .ARW raws. Conversions to the standard sized output go without a hitch. Has anyone else out there run into this problem and (hopefully) come to an understanding of what's going on and how to fix it?
Hi. Once again update to Adobe product is released and no ANY information on what was added or fixed on Adobe's website. I really don't get it - is it that hard to publish release notes? Please provide some information on what was changed in ACR 14.4.1 that was released recently. Thankyou.
For example, when I create a new mask, the mask panell covers the upper right corner of my image. I need to move this to my other display, so I can see what I'm working on. When I return to Camera Raw at a later time, I have to repeat this process, moving the panel to a different location. In applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, I am able to save my workspace, as well as set a default workspace that I can load. Is there any feature in Adobe Camera Raw that will help save the workspace, or cause new panels not to cover the image area while working? Maximizing the image area is important. If all panels could be moved to another screen (similar to how many of us work in Photoshop or other application) that would be very helpful. If no features or work-arounds exist, then I'll resubmit or edit to be a feature request.
Photoshop updated 3 days ago, now when I try and create 'Enhance Details' in ACR I get: Unsupported Hardware "Enhance Details requires a graphics card with Metal support".Any fix? is there some preference type file I have to trash? (i saw this fixed it for someone that had the same problem in LR).This worked before update. Macboo Pro, OSX Catalina, ACR 12.2, graphics: Intel Iris 6100
In the old days when using Camera raw I could set my ratio and just draw a box to crop the shot. Nowdays I have a box that I have to drag the edges to crop the photo. Can't I just drag the crop like I used to? Thanks.
In ACR 14.4, there is no degrees Kelvin adjustment in Profiles. Only Adobe profiles (and only in RAW files i.e JPEG images only have colour or monochrome). I miss the options of 'cloudy', 'shade' or simply selecting a colout temp eg. fine tuning daylight from 6500K to 7000K?
Meine Umgebung:Alle Adobe Produkte aktuell, iMac Pro (2017), macOS Monterey (aktuelles Update)
Hello! So I just switched to a new version of photoshop finally. I'm very excited because it's going to work great but it is not concerned. My interface is blacked out and apart from doing images 1 by 1 in raw (not efficient). I'm not sure how to ask the right questions in the help forums to find specifically what this is. I can't see any options to purge anything because it's blacked out. I've changed the interface in photoshop to light Gray to see if that helps, it doesn't make a change on raw. Any help would be appreciated. My camera raw on cs2 has finally crapped out and I'm at a standstill.
Since the last update to PS, the edits I make in Camera Raw do not show in bridge unless I save as a JPEG or PSD. I hope there is a toggle to correct that. If I reopen the picture it shows the edits but I cannot see them while in Bridge. Is there a box I need to check?
A friend was telling me there is a new feature called Enhanced in LR ( he uses LR mostly), but may also be in photoshop is this correct? (I don't use LR, prefer PS). He says it can double the quality of an image, especialy taken on the older DLSRS, and even double the resolutuion. Thanks. If so where is it and what is it called, and is this true?
Hi there, I have an issue with Camera Raw. It doesn't sync my Lightroom presets anymore. I can I solve? If I try to import my presets manually (xmp original format for example), it's impossible to import. I have a Mac.
Hi, I noticed that it is not possible anymore to update a brush preset after changes have been made. Once I choose a brush preset, paint and then adjust any setting the preset is shown as "none" and the changes can not be save/updated with the previously chosen preset. Bug or feature? If feature it makes no sense having to save new presets over and over. Oliver
here is a typical example of my workflow on a job I'm working on today: select 179 images in Bridge Open in Camera RAW (I have Raw presets set to apply auto tone correction & WB) Select all images and apply Geometry: Level correction Click Done and return to Bridge which then generates updated previws of the selected images. In this example the first 32 images retain the Auto tone settings, whilst the remaing 147 images have their tone settings reset to 0 but retain the geomerty setting. I then have to reopen the 147 images to re-apply the auto tone settings and then click done. Only then do the XMP correctly save the auto tone setting. In previous versions of bridge I did not experience this problem. This started a few months ago with ACR 13. I will try to reset prefs etc to see if that helps????
Hey there, Can someone tell me how I can copy the edited setting of a Raw picture in Camera Raw 12, in order to copy it to another picture? I have been using this tool very often in for instance Lightroom by just using the controls + 'c' & 'v'. Nevertheless this is not working in Camera Raw. Also the tabs such as 'Image' and 'edit' in the top of my screen are not showing me anything when I try to click on them, so I can not copy the setting my clicking in the tab menu either. What am I doing wrong?
I know others have had this problem before but I cannot find (or have missed) an answer. Suddenly Camera Raw, whne invoked from Bridge (Open in Camera Raw) is way too large to use. I have tried rescaling the desktop, moving from one monitor to another (I have a two monitor setup with Raw and Bridge usually on the left and PS on the right). Adobe tech support took control of my computer and spent 45 minutes trying everything with no success and then told me to contact Microsoft (Right, that'll work). If I invoke the Camera Raw filter from PS it is sized appropriately. I also have fiddled with my NVidia settings and still no go. Anyone have this problem and solved it? Windows 11, btw. Thanx!
Adobe, please bring back the camera-specific and other profiles in Camera Raw. I can't believe you would delete these very helpful tools.
Hi, With the upgrade to the latest verion of Adobe Raw, the dialog box always opens with the right menu items scrolled all the way to the bottom? Is there a way for it to open with with it scrolled all the way up so I dont have to scroll up the menu with every image I open?
