Running MS-Windows 10 and Captivate 2019.I am going to have to re-install my OS. Might have to wipe my HDD.I only have one project. If Save the .cptx file, will I be able to recreate the project just by putting the .cptx file back in the "My Adobe Captivate Projects" directory?

Hello,I am using Adobe Captivate 11.5.5.553 for creating simulations and courses. Now, I have two questions here: Can we control the speed of the slides in .html output? Do we have any playback controller functionality in Captivate - like to run the course in 1X or 2X or 3X speed?Is it possible to add close captioning in video publish output in Captivate? I know it is easy to turn-on the CC in html output, but do we have the similar functionality when we will publish in video format?  Appreciate your support in advance!!

I would like to make our course as accessibility complaint. After enabling the accessibility object wise and slide wise, no visuals are showing while previewing the output in HTML5 and in LMS.I followed the same procedure as mentioned in the below forum: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/captivate/using/creating-accessible-projects.html I am not sure why I am getting blank slide after adding the accessibility for the objects. But, I am able to see the visuals and accessibility when I preview the course locally in Captivate: Preview -> Project.To precise, 1) Accessibility and slide visuals are not showing when I preview the output in HTML5 and LMS. 2) When I preview the output locally in Captivate, object interaction is not behaving correctly as per the script added after applying the accessibility to object wise. Thanks for your answers please. 

I can’t get Software Simulation or Video Demo to capture the selected screen no matter what browser I choose or screen I choose. It just captures the background of my computer on several slides. I am using Macbook Air. The Apple Team at Montefiore installed the app on my device, and they requested I reach out to Adobe. This work fine on a Dell laptop. I am using Mac Air and I am on Big Sur

I created a quiz for 360 learning and I would like to report data for each of my questions. In the doc of 360 learning it says that I have to use elements like for example cmi.interactions.n.description (where "n" is the number of the question").Where can I set values for these elements in captivate ? I can't find any field in Captivate.Do I have to create a js file and set them myself ? Thank you for your help.

We have multipule adobe software packages which are running from different accounts (ID), the 1 of them account have also bought additional adobe captivate software but I don't want to run it from that account or coumputer. because there is no need in that account or coumputer. Rather I want to run it from other account, is it possible.

I'm importing media images or photos into both master slides and Filmstrip. When I preview the project, the slides with these images are not showing the images instead show a Bright Red screen. Other effects are there on the slide but not the image. Does Captivate 2019 have a limitation as to the media image size or what's causing this? Thanks,Shannon

I have published my captivate project to an .mp4 video. The Captivate project was created from Power Point. All 15 slides have narration. All slides play the narration during the project preview. When the project is published to video, only slide 8 does not play the audio.  I've attempted to publish it several times. I even re-recorded the audio and it doesn't make a difference. Slides 1 - 7 and 9 - 15 all play audio. Can anyone help me with a work around for this issue? Thanks.

Did Adobe ever supply a wizard to scan Captivate projects for Flash components or publish settings?History:  Adobe wrote a piece of software for my company to identify what versions of Captivate we had for almost 2000 projects, so I know they can interrogate project files for various criteria. 

Hello, I have the following issue: Both my personal and professional Adobe Captivate accounts are bound to the same email. The Professional account has paid access to Adobe Captivate whereas the Personal has not. Unfortunately, when accessing the application, I received an error message: Membership Expired.I believe that this account is running into issues because of my Personal - non-paid account. Tried changing the email from the personal account, however that automatically changes the email I have registered in the Professional. I need help, kindly. BrVinicius Viana

I just upgraded to the cloud version of Adobe Captivate, and I installed the Neo voices with it and tried them out with slide notes. I was disappointed to find that the voices mispronounced the word "reading" as "redding." I don't anticipate that we'll use this soon, but I'm wondering if there is any way to correct mispronunciations?

i have problems on my button for this project i need to make some interactive web so the time when i need to view all of my works in turn out like a slide and my button could not use as button . I NEED HELP ASAP i've tried to run out and reset it for several times but still the same output that i get any expertise please help i need to submit before monday

Hi all, I'm working with Captivate 11.8 (on a MacOS Monterey) and am struggling to implement the Glossary widget as a learning interaction. I have created an .XML file with my glossary terms, but Captivate crashes before I can get this file uploaded so my issue is not about the formatting within the glossary file itself.I've tried a number of times, using this process:Click Insert Learning Interaction > Glossary Widget > Click the import button -- and then Captivate immediately crashes, before a file can be uploaded.I have not had issues with Captivate crashing with other learning interactions in this project. I've cleared my cache, and cleaned preferences. I also created a new, blank project and tried to set up the glossary there with the same result. What else should I be doing? Thanks for your help!

I imported an interactive powerpoint into adobe. When it imported the slides that advance added a clickbox. How to I change the clickbox to the slide transitioning automatically?

Hi all,I am asking this because I would like to know if this is technically possible in Captivate 9...What I would like to do is to have a button with a script on it so that when you click it an objecton the screen (this could be an image or a flash SWF object etc) moves from one point of thescreen to another. For example, it could be in the top-left hand corner and when you click the button,it moves to the bottom right hand corner.I know you can make one object on one part of the screen invisible by hiding it and making an identicalobject elsewhere visible by showing it to give the illusion that it has just "moved" but I am wondering ifa script is possible where I can just move the same object.Thanks in advance.KeithModerator: took out your personal email address, this is a public forum

Hello,I ensured that a course had the accessibility function turned on in the settings when publishing, and when I inspect the buttons with the dev tools, the dev tools say it is focusable. However when trying to use the tab key to tab to a button, nothing happens. Tab key just stays up in the url bar.This course was originally produced in 2017.We're on 2019 v. 11.5.553Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello,Captivate 2019, Build 11.5.5.553I've encountered an issue with some recently developed modules where a very simple expression is not working. We use a progress display that shows X of X slides. It's a text caption that uses:$$cpInfoCurrentSlide$$ of $$cpInfoSlideCount$$ We've added additional slides that are not part of the instructional content, so to subtract these from the slide count we're using:Expression  _TotalSlides = cpInfoSlideCount - 2 Regardless of the expression in the slide advanced actions, it only shows the total slide count. What makes this puzzling is this issue exists only in the modules created by the same developer using the same corporate template (.cptx) that we use for all our in-house/corporate training. None of our other modules have this issue.Is there anything can override an expression? Hi to all the community, i have a dout about Adobe Captivate, about the answer bullets, if tis possible to increase the size of them?e.g. Mostly beause in a mobile version it seems smaller and for UX I think is not really good.Thank you for all your advices 🙂
