Hi Is there any relation between virtual class participate and server resource usage ? every participate need 512 KB bandwith, it is clearly mentioned in adobe connect website.but is there clear relation between participate and CPU usage or RAM usage on Server ? 1 participate = 0.000x % RAM or 0.000y% CPU on Server.
Hi, when I try to start my webcam or open settings from the context menu, I get this error:I uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft visual c++ runtime libraries and also adobe connect but nothing changed. How can I fix it?
Hi, I'm trying to get hold of somone in the team that organizes and presents the various online demos. Unfortunately, all emails from them come from a "DoNotReply" address, all phone numbers go to Tech Support or Sales (which in turn seems to direct to a reseller) and the one person for whom I have managed to obtain an email address never rersponds! No other contact details are given. My issue is twofold:I sign up for webinars which result in a calendar invite being sent out, for a time which bears no relation to the time of the Webinar. For example, I have just signed up for a webinar this afternoon (the "Daily Demo"). According to the sign-up, this is at 4:00 Eastern, but the calendar invite is for 6:00! and the invite contents say it's at 1:00 GMT-7, which, after some mental gymnastics I figured out is 4:00 EEastern. Also, on the signup form is a link to download a calendar invite, but that results in a server error (please report to the administrator - I wish I could!)I a
Currently on v11. We've seen a few other tools that do allow you to screen share from the browser. Even though it can be a security issue, and does often require tweaking some browser settings, we still like that capability. Anyone know if it is on the road map to enable screen sharing from a browser-based meeting? Thanks!
Twice in the course of presenting, a host found herself ejected from the meeting and staring at the screen attached. Any ideas?
getting desperate and aggravated! we will be emailing invites to over 200 doctors for an event; all the test emails are FROM admin@adobeconnect.com and a few even worse, Do-not-reply@adobeconnect.com. i cannot imagine busy physicians opening an email from that address. i followed intructions in an adobe tutorial video on Event Mgmt that mentions how to change the FROM and REPLY TO email addresses to an alias email address that i can create under Event Mgmt>Event Admin>Email aliases.doesnt matter what i create, and i can CHOOSE it within the customized email template, but when i send test emails to check, it continues to default to admin@adobeconnect.comthere must be a fix.... as i looked throguh this forum, i saw the same quesitons raised in 2014! with no resolution..... thanks for any quick reply!Maureen

When the host requests control of a Share pod and is granted permission, she sees the other user's screen and the desktop being shared, but cannot locate a mouse pointer or, therefore, take action. Any ideas?
I am a regular Abobe connect user and had major problems today when leading a class. Microphone is connected to computer, and shows up in microphone menu when I run the audio setup wizard, but when I press "record" to test it - nothing will record. I tried this with 3 external mics (both USB and bluetooth) and no microphones would record. They DID work for the speaker test, just not the microphone. 3 minutes before my class launched, I finally found a second computer and logged on with that one - all the devises / microphones worked fine then. There is obviously an issue with my computer (Lenovo Thinkpad x1) or my internet security system (Kaspersky). I have not changed any settings however since the class I led last week - which worked just fine! Any ideas of how I can resolve this? I have class Day #2 tomorrow and it would be MUCH easier if I can use my main computer - the ThinkpadX1. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer!
We've having trouble with our Adobe Connect audio compression when using VOIP audio. It seems to be much worse than our less specialized implementation of Teams and, most critically, worse than Adobe Connect sessions hosted by our external vendors. Has anyone had this issue and know of a solution?

Hi. I hope someone can advise on this issue. I am looking for the switches that will silently run the Adobe Connect v9 standalone installer. The file name is connectappsetup2020_1_5.exe. I have tried every switch I can find, but none seem to prevent the install progress window from being displayed. Any suggestion on this appreciated.

I didn't see this here for Adobe Connect, but I'd like to start it. I'm hoping to achieve a few things here. NOT boggle down the moderators with sifting through pages and pages and pages and pages of "I want that too!" or "Me too!" or anything that is NOT actually a request. Hi Adobe,I am experiencing my Adobe Connect application crashiing every time I click on the camera icon, I have had 3 I.T specialists look at this problem and all have unsuccessfully been able to resolve the issue, I would really appreciate some action taken in getting this fixed as it is essential that I be able to connect to my webcam in my course that i'm studying at the moment. I have also bought and installed another webcam to see if it was the internal webcam that was the problem, however it happened on both webcams. I have been assured from the I.T specialists that the issue lies with Adobe Connect. It is reassuring to see that I am not the only person with this exact problem within this community, and I think reinforces the need for action to be taken swiftly your end to find a solution. I have a Logitech HD1080 p webcam. I have used this cam previously on another computer with adobe connect and it did fine. I am now having to use it on a desk top. It works fine on the acutal laptop it's self. But, when I try to use it with adobe connect for school. I get a message that says " Camera not detected". Even the schools tech support couldn't get it to work. We have tried privacy settings and several browsers and some other things. But still no luck. I was hoping someone out there had a magic button I can press to make it work :). Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you

I am running up agains a bit of a glitch and wondering if there is a solution. I have a lobby set up as my first layout for an event. During that time, I would like to get my presenters on camera behind the scenes and make sure they are all set for when we kick off the actual content. As a solution, I placed a video share pod in the presenter view and, when transitioning to the next layout, see their videos carry over to the video share pod I have set up in the participant view. However, when I go back into the event, my share pod in the lobby is now gone. it seems to not want to stay put upon transitioning over to the next layout. As such, I have to set this up each and every time I head back into that meeting room. Also, if I inadvertantly use the lobby layout during that presentation, my presenters have to re-share their video vs it simply remaining in my layout as it does with other (non-lobby) layouts. Any thoughts? Thank you!
Hello. I've recently started a degree programme, which is largely being administered through Adobe Connect at the moment. All of the videos I can access, as I can enter as a guest - except one. It asks me for my log in details. I haven't knowingly set up an account, but I have one through my uni. I'm logged on to it now, but I haven't had to enter a password - and there is nowhere to reset the password. Nevertheless, the video asks for an email address and password. If I enter the email address that is attatched to this account, and click "Forgotten my password" it says "We'll send you an email to reset, if you have access to this video" or words to that effect. I haven't had an email out as yet. Is this an issue with the way the lesson has been set up? I've emailed the lecturer - but I just can't work it out.
I purchased and downloaded Adobe Presenter 11.1 on a Windows 10 machine. When I tried to insert a scene I got a message that the asset was not present locally. It presented me with a link to the Adobe Presenter Asset Installer that led to a blank screen. I can find the asset zip file or access the asset installer so that I can start learning the application. Question: Where do I find those assets and how do I install them?
I'm submitting participants through the API using the event-register method, however, I must post the same information twice in order to be able to view the participant in the Participant tab of the event information. We have been using Adobe Connect for months for Team/Company meetings. During every meeting everyones webcam freezes at sometime. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a known fix that could help with the issue? Thanks!!
