I am looking for advice for using a camcorder in Adobe Connect's video pod with a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.11. I am currently using a webcam, but would like to use a camcorder instead. I have not yet purchased a camcorder. I would like to know what type is best, and what is needed to make it work with Adobe Connect. I need the video to work with the recording as well.

We recorded an Adobe Connect meeting (which proceeded fine.) In the recording, however, the sound seems to stop abruptly at minute 39. I don't know if the recording always had this problem or only recently developed this problem. (We've had this recording since Sept, and someone just complained about it today.) Two people, including myself, have tried it on multiple computers and browsers, and run into the same issue. Does anyone have ideas on how to troubleshoot it?

Hi,Is there any way that uploaded Powerpoint files within Adobe Connect can be accessed via an iPad or is this only possible via a desktop? We author on Macs, so Presenter 11 isn't an option as isn't Video Express (UK). Also tried importing the PowerPoint content into Captivate 9 and outputting an HTML5 file and hardly any transitions are working. The thing is our learners really like the desktop (presenter) view of the PowerPoint slides (as do our developers) but not having the ability to view on an iPad is limiting.Thanks,Colin
So i am receiving multiple Thank you Emails in Adobe COnnect. I have a meeting room tied to an event or vice versa. And for everyone that attends an event I get a Thank you Email. I don't need all those emails. IS there a way to stop this? ! !
I have users with Surface Pro 3's with Windows 8.1 and users with Surface Pro 4's with Windows 10. They both complain that they can't do Connect meetings because the screen type is so tiny. We tried lowering in the resolution of the Surface Pro, but that introduced other issues of parts of the shared screen cutting off and not doing much for the tiny type. I've hunted for a solution, but haven't found one yet. Is something being worked on? Has anyone found a workaround? Help!

Hi everyone,Recently I did 2 lengthy recordings in own hosted Adobe Connect platform (ver 8.2), around 1.5 hrs each. Suddenly, the glitch sound for the audio came out and it happened totally 4 times.Since I was recording the live event, at first I really didnt know how to solve that. In the first time, the glitch sound ended itself after 2 mins. In the other 3 times, I figured out that I could quickly turn off the microphone and turn it on again, by clicking at the mic icon in Adobe Connect. The audio became clear and normal again.To provide more information, I used a Macbook Pro and plugged with a general USB PnP Sound Device in USB port which was connected with a mixer as the audio source.Is there anyone faced the same problem? Do you know what is the reason of this issue and any better way to fix this problem? Will it be solved in Adobe Connect 9 / 9.5?Thanks for your advice!Edwin
When automatically sending a thank you email based on any of the thank you templates, an average of 7 same emails are being sent to attendees in an Adobe Connect webinar. Is anyone else experiencing this, or do you know where the setting is to control the number of same emails being sent? Thanks.
For some time now, we've been having an issue with breakout sessions using PGi as the audio provider. What used to happen is all of the participants were muted in the general session, but when they were placed in the breakout sessions, their lines were automatically unmuted. When they were placed back in the general session, their lines were muted again. Now, though, that does not happen. When participants are placed in the breakout sessions, their lines are still muted... actually most are, there will be a few that were unmuted. We need to go in and check each breakout session to see who is still muted and unmute their lines. We then have to mute everyone when they reenter the general session. It is quite cumbersome when you are dealing with 100 participants and several breakout sessions. Has anyone run across this issue and found a fix? Is there anyone using PGi with breakout sessions and not having this issue?
I just switched from a Dell laptop to a Lenovo T450. I was trying to lead an Adobe Connect meeting, and when I tried handing off to another presenter, i was blocked by a Video pod that would not undock, close, or move in any way. This video pod blocked the pod listing the attendees, as well as the control menu for the Share pod. And I could not dock, undock, or move the Chat pod. I did try clicking the maximize icon twice to resize the Connect window. Another meeting attendee had to set up a new meeting from another hosting site and send another meeting notice before we could proceed, b/c my meeting was unusable.
Has anyone using the Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle on a Mac noticed any recent problems? I've been successfully using mine to deliver a composite SD NTSC video feed into the Video Pod but suddenly it's not working. The device appears to be working fine, and the Blackmagic software can see the cam, so the signal is getting through. The problem appears to be with Flash but I can't locate any issues there either. Am I the only one who's having this problem and, if so, can anyone offer any suggestions?

We are building a new AC 9.5 installation. We are integrating with our Windows AD as the directory service and sync'ing users and groups. We already have AD groups for each department. We need to create a group for different roles in our organization, like nurses, paraprofessionals, staff. Is there a way to create a group in AC 9.5 that would have members in it that were part of two groups but only if they were a part of both groups? So, we could have three groups: All Employees, ICU and Nurses. Nurse Betty is a member of all three of these groups. Our education department needs to assign education to all nurses in the ICU but not all nurses or all employees. So, we would need a group that consisted of the users that were in BOTH ICU and Nurses groups. Is this possible in AC 9.5?
