Hello, Every time i try to use the magic wand tool dimension freezes.i have submitted a couple of crash reports, but i never heard from adobe how to fix it. comp specs.:Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz64,0 GB (63,7 GB usable)NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090Windows 11 proDimension 4.1

Importing dimension files into a new Dimension file. When undoing the last import it crashes (see report). There have been huge issues with performance since the last update  to 4.1.0  

When I run the program and open a new file, I only see a white screen where I can place shapes. Please suggest a solution. 

Adobe Dimension 4.03 ver. freezes the computer incredibly and the program is never used

Hi guys. I've noticed a problem today when trying to open Dimension. It's just not working anymore. Nothing shows in the work space. I don't think it's a sistem problem, as I work on a daily bases with 3d software as blender or unreal engine and they work just fine.  I do see there was an update a couple a weeks ago and I think that's when the problem started. 

Adobe Dimensions wont' open any of my recent files, i get the error message below, did anyone else have this and how can i fix it? 

In new Dn update version a "Show Contextual Task Bar" command is missed in Window Menu. After hiding we need to relaunch Dn.  

I'm using an imported model  (made in Cinema 4D, exported as .obj) in my scene. When I try to place a texture on it it appears flipped (mirorred) and I can not figure out how to mirror it back without editing texture itself. The same with a decal.I've tried different export options regarded to UV and even normals flipping - nothing changes. Tried also Object -> generate UVs -> didn't help

Hi.I have a flat box (Sachet) with Texture image on. I want to apply a Normal Map that only effect the outer area of the front face, is that something achievable in Adobe Dimension. (See effect made instead in Photoshop)./Tedski

Fairly new to 3d but have been using it more lately so opened up Dimensions for the first time in a few months and it won't run anymore. Not sure what can be done but it was running smoothly before the latest version but now I can't even open a drop down menu to see how to downgrade the live preview or something. Everything grinds to a halt. I think we'll be getting new computers soon but current specs below. It's a shame, we were hoping to get more people to use this but seems like we won't be able to with this update. Seems like Adobe's strategy lately is to alienate people from their products more and more...  

I'm working with a Dimension project file that consists of a lot of objects. Other than the app performing very sluggish, I've been having this frequent issue where the app keeps crashing entirely, making me have to force quit and restart Dimension. (Screen shots attached)  Any help/advice would be appreciated, thank you! 

Hello there ! I have an issue with importing 3D models.A customer has sent me a .obj file, and after getting the UV windows and the marials, Dimension tells me it's impossible to import, and to refer to the right type of file supported. I can't figure out what's happening, since I can open it in the 3D view in Windows 11.... Can someone help me with that please ? Thanks in advance for your replies ! Have a nice day !Patricia

I'm trying to create an efficient system to build packaging mockups with labels using Adobe Dimension, but I'm facing several issues:White edges on images of any format: When I apply transparent labels onto a transparent container, black text appears with white edges around it. The suggested solution of cutting labels into smaller pieces and applying them separately isn’t viable for me, as I need a fast and efficient workflow. I’m trying to place objects on the podiums in my background image (attached). When I set the camera for the lower podiums, it's great, but when I place the objects on the tallest podium and move it up the Y axis, there's no shadow. I’ve tried using cylinders as placeholders which works to get the object shadow, but setting opacity to 0 of the cylinder removes the object shadow. What am I missing? I can't seem to find what to search for tutorials on this either. Any tips are appreciated!

Hello,I recently installed Adobe Dimension, but I am encountering an issue. Whenever I open the application and try to start a new project, I receive the following error: "Unable to start Rendering Engine."To troubleshoot, I went to Windows Graphics Settings and enabled the high-performance setting for Adobe Dimension. However, the problem persists. Additionally, the Render section appears completely black, making it impossible to work on my project.I would appreciate any suggestions or solutions to fix this issue. Thank you in advance!Cengizhan

Before the 4.0 update I was able to make obejcts "glow" and the artwork would be visible, like a backlit fabric banner. Now when I apply the new emission option, the object glows but the artwork disappears. Is there a workaround for this?

Hello Tema Adobe,I am a designer not a 3d modeler, renderer etc. so Dimension was great for me.I bought bunch of 3d models for the products I sell on my ecommerce. After updating to the latest version, I am sorry to say but I encountered many issues.My cameras, and cameras I didn't wanted are all over the place, the viewport never stops live rendering , my models got broken and on my exports vertical lines appeared out of nowhere, The colors and transparency of the models changed making it hard for me to nail the right setting, even when I copied the same proprieties from the previous file.I read a thread about vertical lines appearing, and played with the UV, and re-importing the .obj file (bottle) without any success. The label that I could place anywhere on the bottle now only give me small real estate, and cut my label. Reverting back to the previous app version was a blessing!Everything is back to normal! I write this thread for those who aren't savy in 3d like me,

Hi, please help me. I am trying to place a label on a model, like I've done 1000 times before, but on this specific model, it wants to repeat the label, over the surface and not just place the label once. All settings look correct, but I am still struggling. It keeps repeating the label. Thank youDarius

I hope this tool/feature will be re-enable in the app since it was good to have this.

Why is there a problem with the transparency of glass?  The older version wasn't this way.  You cannot see through this. 

It would be great if we could use trackpad gestures to control the camera in Adobe Dimension. Please!

I'm trying to make renders of a CAD model, so the wireframe isn't super pretty. In Maya, the model looks fine, but when it's imported to Dimension it looks crazy. It's super jagged and I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I've tried redoing the UVs as well as averaging normals and using "set to face" to see if that helped, but there was no luck. I've attached pictures of the model in Maya and in Dimension. Any thoughts?
