Overall, my system seems like it should support Dimension, but am getting nothing when launching the tutorial.System: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.7GHz w/16 GB installed RAMnVidia GeForce GTX 960M (Open GL 4.5, 1080p support)plenty of disk space If the card is the problem, just let me know. 

I've been using Adobe Dimention from a month but it is not working properly. Most of the times my normal preview looks perfect but the render preview looks very bad. I've tried it many times. My laptop is having a 12GB Ram and 500GB SSD which is almost half empty. Window 10, Processor is i5 and NVIDIA 2GB Graphic card 1040mx.  I've tried creating my project with render preview off and switch it on at last and I've also tried to start creating my project with render preview on from start but same result. 

How to to create curving fonts (or turn them curved) and merge them to objects in Adobe Dimension?Is this action really possible?Thanks in advance. 

I have an issue with Dimension where having imported a 3D model and created UVs, I can successfully apply decals, but I have a problem if the surface I'm applying the decal to has one or more holes in it, as the decal distorts around the hole(s). A typical use case for me is the control panel on an electronic product where I am applying the silkscreen artwork as a decal, and the panel has holes in it for the various controls and indicators.

What is it?

Is there a way to apply the same graphic to different objects in one go?The ideal workflow would be, link that graphic or decal to the material and the apply the material in one go to the group, but apparently that can't be done either.This is useful if let's say I want to apply the same graphic to a stack of 100 business cards I have modelled and bring to Dimension. A very plausible workflow if we keep in mind what Dimension has been designed for. If the sides or borders of the business cards have some kind of graphic or stack is not completely straight the graphic should be placed in all of them.

Can anyone help? I've reinstalled later versions and the newest but it will not reopen past work. I am on Windows and a fast gaming laptop.

Hey, is there a way to add your own substance materials to the materials library? If not, then this is pretty limited...Also, loading the materials onto a section takes forever, even if it's just for one simple shape - using the latest iMac on the market with Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB.Thanks!

Hello, I have the latest version 3.1 installed on my desktop and have only been using this today - literally discovered Dimension 24 hours ago.Made my first project today and tried to re-open the file. It gets to about 80% and then says the file won't open - I've sent the log to the email address.I've reinstalled Dimension, have tried to add my .dn file to a new project but this hasn't worked. Any ideas folks?

Hi there,although my Dimensions document is 2000px wide @ 300 ppi resolution and the artwork placed on top of my model is a vectorized ai file, the rendered high quality psd is poor to say the least… Obviously I can render my box model without any artwork and post process in Photoshop (place the ai on top in multiply mode) but there must be another way to get better results from Dimension surely?Many thx for follwing up.Chris

The scene falls off. Creating an interior, with each new object "Dimension" works worse and worse, as a result, it crashes. Saving is loaded to 100% and dimension freezes. I9900k rtx 2080 super 32 gb ram

Hi everyone, just wondering if there is any way to add in a height map to my texture. I know the normals will make the largest contribution to the texture, but I want that finer detail, but I can't seem a way to add mine in, does anybody know if you can do this yet on dimension? thanks!

Hi, i have a problem with adobe dimension.When i start everything looks good but when i want create new or open another file there are only black screen. I cant see object and background.Win10 home, 64bitIntel i5 4200HNvidia GeForce GTX 860M

On my Mac Pro, I've installed Dimension 3.3, and it's completely unusable. As is demonstrated in my attached screen capture:No links can be clicked.The scrollbar doesn't work.Can't access promoted content.Can't open a document.Can't create a document.Window does not properly scale.Dimension will not close using the window controls, or through Cmd + Q. A Force Quit is required.I've removed Dimension and the previous installs preferences, and did a clean install. I've looked through Console, but there are no indications of errors for Dimension. I recall seeing this previously, during prerelease, but it was quickly resolved with an update. The only other Adobe forum post I could find that detailed a similar issue, referred OP/readers to joining the Dimension prerelease program to get a more updated version. However, that's not very helpful since the current version in Dimension prerelease is 3.3. Relevant Mac specs are:MacOS Catalina 10.15.53.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon48 GB 1066 MH

I spent the first month of Lockdown learning Dimensions and had some great results rendering glass bottles in various light set-ups I'd been tweaking. Now with the new update if I bring in a new .obj file and use the same settings the results are completely different (and unusable). Am I going to have to spend another month relearning this due to an update!?

New to using Dimension. When I click on the Render Preview button, my entire canvas becomes the render preview. The tutorials I see feature Render Preview as a small inset window to the top right of the canvas.  How do I enable this small inset Render Preview window?

Hi Folksi have often problems with objects wo are manipulated with boolean operators in the 3d modeler software before.in the screenshot on the right you see the original object created in cinema 4D.on the left side you see the result in dimension,i try cheetah3d and here the problem is the same. is this a known bug? tom

Having a very strange issue with placing decals on the top and bottom of a tin 3d file (provided as 3d pdf by the manufacturer, then I opened it in Photoshop and exported as .obj). The curved areas look great, but the flat areas on the top and bottom have a strange "pinpoint" serrated issue. Is this an issue in Dimension or an issue that I can somehow correct in Photoshop? Other than this issue, the .obj works perfectly. Thanks for any help!
