Anyone facing the same problem as me? my image was clear before i place into decal, but after i placed it, the image became so worst.....any solution to fix this problem? or any tutorial can guide me to export high resolution Jpeg?

Dimension is no longer opens up any of my models, just opens up the UI around it. All my programmes are up to date, I've logged out of CC, restarted my laptop. Nothing is working, this is an issue for all .dn files. They were working just a few weeks ago and now I've come back to them, nothing. I am using Windows 10  

Hi. I am trying to place a graphic to a component of an .OBJ model. The .PNG seems to import without any issue, but is not visible on the component. I've run into this with a few components of this model. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix it? I also run into this issue when applying stock substance materials with any sort of pattern (e.g. wood grains) - the pattern is not visible no matter what I change properties to. Details:The model is an .OBJ of an iPhone 11 Pro + case which I got from CGTRader. I've been able to apply properties to all the components of the model without issue and have successfully added .PNGs to the phone screen. But when I try to do things like add a decal to the case, or in my latest project, add a graphic to the camera flash, it is not visible. Hi Everyone,I'm a bag designer and new to Dimension.  I normally create my designs in Illustrator, but would love some advice as the best 3d model software to use to export into Dimension. Can anyone suggest some options? Many thanks!Chris

I have created a glass cosmetic jar via illustrator and photoshop, but when I go to apply the decal it always starts distorting when I try to scale the decal bigger. I have tried generatting UVs and recreating the model and adjusting the extrusion depth but it still distorting.The only way I have got around this is to split the label decal in to 3 parts.

How do I keep an opaque decal on a transparent bottle?When I make the bottle transparent, the decal fades out as well.

I'm trying to make a transparent wrapper in Dimension so you can see the contents within. The wrapper has a Decal applied so I can't use the transparency setting. A search tells me to use the translucency setting.In the Design window playing with this parameter gives me the look I want is rather crudely rendered. However when I do a proper render the wrapper just ends up white opaque. What am I doing wrong and while I am at it can someone give me some decent settings for a crear plastic wrapper with relections on it? I'm using Dimension 1.1.1 which is the highest version my Mac supports. Thanks! 

Why is the image blurry when the quality is set to high from dimension？

Hello, I've created several beautiful renders of products successfully in Dimension, but have hit a roadblock with one particular model.   This file is an OBJ, approx. 4.3Gb in size.  It's a product designed in Autodesk Inventor, shrinkwrapped and exported to OBJ.  During export we used the medium resolution preset for the OBJ.   The resulting OBJ file is huge, but Adobe Dimension will import it.  I get the file importing progress bar, and when finished, it appears that the OBJ imported successfully.  It shows up in the Scene panel as expected, but the model never shows in the preview window.  If I select the model in the Scene panel and try to move it or perform any other transformation the software grinds to a halt.  We've tried working with this on a few different machines, including a standalone tower built specifically for rendering.  Computer horsepower shouldn't be the problem, but again - I recognize the

I can't get dimension to let me apply a graphic to the entire model at once.I can place the image on the model in different sections but how do I get it to apply to all the sections at once?As I drage the image on the model it jumps from section to section.There is only one material on the model andI've tried Generate UVs - but that didn't help

Hi guys, I've extruded a simple 3D text in C4D and exported it as OBJ file. But once I imported the OBJ file into Dimension I get this crazy result. The set up from c4d is just a simple 5 cm extrude. I've tried it a few times, it looks ok in c4d but once it is imported into dimension this crazy result happen. I'm still new to adobe Dimension and c4d. Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you guys.

How can I map a graphic to a form leaving only the graphic and no texture on the form?

Hi everyone, I´d like to know if there´s a simple way to make imported files less complex. Here´s the problem: I am using the ESKO Studio Plugin for Adobe Illustrator to export "folded" objekts like displays made of cardboard as an .U3D file to open these in Photoshop. Then I export my 3D layer as an .OBJ File in order to open/import this file in Adobe Dimension. The pitty is, that already my 3D layer in PS has so many seperate texture files included, that the final work in Dimension gets really slow, especially when I duplicate these objects. I often have to save my work in order not to crash the application and sometimes, when I try to re-open saved files, I get an error message that something went wrong and dimension wont work properly. Even after restarts of the app and the system some of the .dn files can´t be opened again. Using DN 3.3 on mac high sierra/mojave. Any tips to "flatten/merge" all these textures already in PS to make this process less complex? I already try to g

I have designed a label and put it on the 3d model, but the text and image become bulurry, i tried to render it with high resolution, but the result aren’t so good. the image file was in png, and the file itself was pretty good.

Is Adobe going to allow AMD GPU cards work with Dimension? I'm running a 2017 MBP with a Razor Core X and AMD RX Vega 64.  Thanks for your help. 

HI! wondering if there is anywhere inside dimension that indicates the number of tris for a model? 

During our design process we need to apply or edit materials and images on several object in our design scene simultaneously. We can do that in several ways. First we can use Selection Tool for selecting all similar object and edit them. The Second way is selection of several objects and go to Object Menu and group them for creating a group from all Selected Objects. Than we and apply the same material or decals on that group. In Adobe Dimension we can use the third way. It includes "Past as Instance" command that allows to create instances from the same object. That creates new "instances" from the original object which allows to edit materials or decals on one object that will reflect the same changes on the other "instances" of that object. Here is how it works. Create an object or place some assets from library into canvas. Choose any material from Material Library and apply to that object Select any image from Image Library and drop that image on object. Select the new created obj

I've created a file in Dimensions and it looks great, my boss is happy with the lighting and the overall appearance. When I render the file out of DN it doesn't match the appearance of the working file (brighter, washed out, loss of detail in the graphics)? Is there a reason for this? Do I need to purchase rendering software to do a better job than DN is able to produce?

I´m using a nVIDIA GTX 1070 (441.87). How can i switch to GPU rendering?

I am on a new iMac with the following specs:OS: CatalinaDisplay: 5kProcessor: 3.7 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5Memory: 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4Graphics: Radeon Pro 580X 8 GB and Adobe Dimension is crawling.  Issues:1_ I am mainly using custom Substance materials and it's a pain to not being able to save them in the Substance material library within Dimension. Secondly, you are not able to save the parameter settings so they can be easily applied to any components that need them or future projects. Is that on the feature request list?2_ Every time I apply (drag and drop) the Substance texture onto the surface of my 3D model it takes forever. I have no other programs open other than a chrome window with a few tabs and my font program. Usually, it doesn't even compute on the first drag and drop, only on the second and only if you save the file in between. Any insight on these things? Thanks!
