I am building a website using html, css and bootstrap for my podcast, my problem is that I want to put a player of the podcast in the hero image part of the website so people can come and listen to my podcast at the moment of entering into the website. I want the player to use the RSS Feed of my podcast to always update the player with the latest episode, I hace been trying to look for a solution for that but I have found anything. I made an account here on stack overflow to reach some expert on this field to help me with this problem. I will attach some pictures of the design to illustrate my problem much better:     I just need it to play the podcast and get updated every time I upload a new episode. I have a several mpg videos made in the early 2005's, showing a house built by a contractor. I am running Dreamweaver 21.1 on a MacBook Pro. As soon as I open anything in Dreamweaver the CPU goes to 100% or more and the fan runs like crazy. Is there any solution to this problem? I have searched online and found people reporting this in older versions, but have found nothing about this version.

I copy text with hyperlinks to Dreamweaver. I need all hyperlinks with target _blank. How can I set target_blank to the default target in Dreamweaver. I use the newest version of Dreamweaver.

Ever since I upgraded from my 2012 Mac Pro to the current 2019 Mac Pro running Catalina last July, the pick-whip animation line no longer appears? Dragging from the @ symbol to the file I want to link works, but I have to make sure the cursor is right over the target as the squiggly line no longer appears?    I am running Catalina 10.15.7 currently. The Pick-Whip animation works on my 2015 MacBook Pro with the same version of Catalina, just not the Mac Pro... any ideas?   [Topic title edited by moderator for clarity.]

Since you all helped me so much I'm back.Every time I open DW I notice it has reformatted my text. I know my style is not what Adobe wants, but it is what I am comfortable with. You all helped me update from DW 2015, which did not mess with my formatting like 2021 does. Is there a way to make it stop?Again, thank you for helping me update from 2015. I have a question. I watched the tutorials about extracting PSD into DW but I dont understand where the html file you need to open the extract pannel and copy the files to comes from. if i design a website in PS i like to extract it into dreamweaver and have a html file to put every thing in. the missing link for me....please help.thamks  

Hi all. I'm a veteran 20 years user of cs4 as I'm predominantly a coder. I decided to try cc version and subscribed today but I'm finding it way too steep a relearning curve. I've looked all over and just can't see a way to replicate the design time style sheets. Everything I write is modular so I need a rough idea of layout, rather than simply linking or importing a style sheet. Am I missing something or has it been removed completely? Is there any way to see and edit the css elements like in previous versions? thanks in advance

I'm using a laptop (Dell Vostro 5041) with a usb-c docking station. I have two external monitors connected to the docking station.I've created a "working space" (mylayout.png) using both external monitors: one for code and one for tools.Opening DreamWeaver all the tools windows, that should be in the second external monitor, are usually in the main monitor of the laptop in a mess (brokenone.png). Even using the restore function in the layout manager, I cannot get my layout back. I tried to save it, to recreate the layout and to change its name and nothing works.On the old laptop with the same docking station it worked fine. What can I do?

Our company web store is on the CimCloud platform which supports the old version of bootstrap 2.3.2.  My question is can I set up Dreamweaver to support this old version of bootstrap? I need to do some coding for basic page development.

Hi, I am trying to clear the cache on my 2019 version of Dreamweaver. I was forwarded the following link, but have not been unable to find the correct file. I am running a Mac with OS 10.12.6 and here is the path: Library>Application Support>Dreamweaver CC 2019> en_US>Configuration>Cef>Cache https://www.dmxzone.com/go/16740/clearing-dreamweaver-s-cache/ What file(s) do I need ti toss in order to clear the cache, or should I toss the entire folder?  Any help would be appreciated. Mark

Hi. I have Googled this issue but couldn't find any sensible (that makes sense) answers. My website design in Dreamweaver cc 2019 is 1200px wide at the moment and everything is left alligned. However, I have found an article on centering the design, but, what do I do to get the same website (design) to fit my entire Desktop (PC) screen (from left to right)? Can anybody help/advise?

Let me start by saying that I am attempting to learn Bootstrap, and am still not sure exactly what I am doing. So please try to be understanding if you want to help.I've made some now-outdated html websites in the past, and have a little understanding of what Bootstrap is. So I've been messing around with the templates, and also trying to learn how to convert an html site to Bootstrap. Anyway, without doing anything (as far as I know)  to my old portfolio website, the top navigation on ONE of my eleven pages mysteriously is more viewable on my phone, as if something changed to make it more Bootstrappy.  I thought there was a lot more involved with updating the html, and other code, and for this to happen without me doing anything is confusing.Would an expert be able to look at code on these two pages, and tell my why the navigation on misc.html views better on a mobile device than advertising.html?This one looks readable on my phone:http://www.christinespidell.com/portfolio/m

Hi all! Need some help but I'm quite new to this so hopefully this makes sense.   I'm editing a website which originally was sharing an FTP accountwith another website. The server provider underwent maintenance to update their systems and the result is that I have had to create a new individual FTP account, which has gone through fine it seems.   But now whenever I push changes to the website in Dreamweaver this pops up (where before File activity went through fine and all operations were successful).   The updates to the website appear to still be going live which is good. But after reaching out to my server provider they can "confirm that everything on the server-side is configured properly, however, as the error message suggested the issue seems to be a local one. Prior to uploading files, please make sure that they are not opened by another application such as text editor, visual composers and etc".   I accept that maybe it is a local issue however I am unsure o

Hi everyone, I am building a site using a template, but for some reason a large number of the pages are not linked, even though I used the same template to create all the pages. I built each and every page the same way. Often, when updating template pages, Dreamweaver stalls—it does nothing. After repeated attempts, I have to restart the computer. Otherwise, I can't update the pages. The pages are all built off the same template. Is there a way I can link these pages to it, so that I don't have to create them all over again?  Thanks for any help you can provide. Mark

I am brand new (and I mean like I have like an hour of use time) and I was wondering when I use split/live view I can't interact/click on anything. It shows the element I'm selecting and I can't click on anything. I know you can pull it up in your browser but I want to work on the website from the front and backend as I go. Any help will be super appreciated.
