hello,i use use the current dreamweaver 2017.when I try sync my local files with a ftp server dream weaver freezes.i use a macbook Pro with latest OSX.it is a wordpress page with about 10000 small files.any ideas how to fix this ?thx and best wishesniels

Hello.When I upload "default.css" to the site, it gets minified automatically. I couldn't find the option to deactivate that function. Please, can you give me a hint? Thanks.

Hi ~I have been building a site with DW 5.5 and yesterday after a save DW will not open the site again...it starts loading the HTML code...nothing apears in the design view (I work with split screen)...and then it says not responding at the top. (I have waited over an hour and it doesn't start working again.)I tried opening other sites and have no issue.  So this is specific to this one site.  I can open up my index.html file in browsers and every thing seems ok. I have tried the following:checked for updates - am up to dateno extensionsrestored the preferencesdeleted the .dws site cache filesdeleted the FileCache.dat file and the whole configuration folderI also tried opening a new file and coping my code into the new file.  The HTML runs fine but different valid CSS3 seems to cause problems.  For example it won't let me enter via hand or through the option menu the following....ul, ol, dl {    list-style-image: none;    list-style-typ

Hi all, I've been using Dreamweaver since CC (over 10 years,) but it suddenly lost all my FTP usernames and passwords (and I have over 60 of them.) Plus, I have to log back in to my account daily.  I 've had some of these sites for years and the password has always been saved until the latest release. Could this be a setting that has changed? Is there anyway to have DW put the paswords back in without having to re-enter all of them? Dreamweaver 21.1 build 15413

I'm working on an eFlyer JPEG inserted into table for multiple Hotspot links. All the links are working fine except for one, which when click to external sites, error message "Refuse to Connect" prompted.  But if it's a texts hyperlink from email, it works fine. Anyone can solve ths problem for me? Pat 

Hi all.I have a website live through Go Daddy put together in Dreamweaver, the problem I have is that I have added a slider to the top of the home page and it has always worked for about the last 4 years. It has now stopped working, dissapeared and for the life of me I can not find the problem. it works fine in Dreamweaver and GoDaddy say it works there end but the "Guide" did give me a magic 90 minutes in which it will start working, think his shift finishes then.https://barrowwindowcleaners.com Please go gentle, I am not high tech. Hello, for some time now, I have been having a problem searching for files in Dreamweaver.  Usually, I just suck it up and look for the files line-by-line.  However, this website is getting larger and it is getting too difficult to do that.  Whatever name I type, Dreamweaver returns the message "No Matches Found", even when I am looking directly at the match.  Am I searching wrong or is this a bug in Dreamweaver?  Here is a video I made of the search issue I am having.  Thank you!https://www.loom.com/share/67f79174a4354712872c9b31b335206f

 How do you set it so that the files window displays a specific folder instead of every file. The screenshot I've attached shows that everything is rooted from my C: drive. I've tried changing the site at the top of it, but I'm just working out of a folder, and don't have a .ste file.  I've looked through the settings, as well as researching online, but I can not find an answer.

I had to wipe my hard drive and reload the software. In the past, my sites migrated automatically, but this has not happened. I have all the site files on my computer: how do I bring the sites back into Dreamweaver?

I have routines to register a new user who can update data files displayed on the website and to long them in to access update routines.  I now need to write a routine which allows a user to change his password.  I've asked for the email account and then sent a message to the account containing a link to an update routine, but the email is unauthenticated and contains a "noname" document containing the message, which isClick on the link to reset your password. https://www.domain.com/reset.php This is useless.  When I follow routines to reset a password, the link is never this legible - it's always long in indeciperable.  How do you do that?  And what am I doing wrong? My code:if (!$suspect && !$errors) {// send email with link to reset routine$to = $email;$subject = 'Change password';$headers = "Content-Type: text/plain, charset=utf-8\r\n";$headers .= "From: webmaster@domain.com";$param = '-fwebmaster@domain.com';$message = "Click on link

Since Dreamweaver uses responsive frameworks for some of the modern templates, it would be great to see the ability to make sure the corresponding javascript files are optimised for the layouts used. It does seem the javascript files are added in their entirity with no ability to pull parts that are not used.Is this an indication that Dreamweaver architects do not know how to manipulate javascript?Outdated jquery files have been left in the template designs and are being flagged, and probably demoted by Google algorithms.Will we be seeing some new starter templates anytime soon to address these javascript file size problems? 

I signed up for a yearly subscripton last May and don't want to renew my subscription. I'm not sure when I'm supposed to manage my account and cancel it. Do I do it on the date that my subscription started?

Hi,Today, after sometime I had to change something in my website.I havn't touched anything since the last time it was working and now, for some reason, the $_SESSION[..] array returns empty variables.I did not attach any code since I do not think this is acode issue due to teh following: I recently intalled DW 2021 but the problem occurs both in DW 2020 & 2021I use xampp as a testing server. Both Apahce & MySQL are woking fine. This only happen whne I try to previw the page using the built in preview funtion in DW.It happens both in chrome and edge where the address bar shoes :http://127.0.0.1:53154/preview/app/index.htmlIt doen not happen on the real webpag (all is woring well)It does not happen when I access the web page locally directly (all is working well):http://localhost/<mySite>/<myPage>.phpThis leads me to think it is a DW/adobe preview issue.What can I check?

Thanks in advance for your tips and solutions. I'm working a major update for a longtime client's website to make it mobile friendly and responsive. I designed the original site in GoLive CS2 v8.0.1 (before Adobe decided to kill it off). The new version of the site is built in DW CC v21.1. You can visit it here: https://chuckwild.com It's been a long and frustrating slog, but the new version looks almost as good as the original version — with the exception of one page. On the Concert Music page, I'm having trouble centering text within a div/wrapper. As you scroll down the page, you'll notice that text below each blue subtitle isn't properly centered. I'm attaching a screen shot to help illustrate this issue (I added the red arrows).  It's driving me bonkers. Hello good folks. I did a clean install of BigSur on my Mac Peo 6,1 and since then I have not been able to log into my web site. It complains that the password is not in agreement with the server and etc.It worked fine with the same machine prior. Seems to me to be a Mac OS issue, but have not been able to find anyone with the same problem I am having.I even tried Fizale (sp) and it seem to be no better. So I am stumped at the moment. Any assistance would be most helpful.

I am getting a new iMac soon and was wondering how I go about this.Can I straight reset my old iMac for sale and then download and install Dreamweaver to my new one? Is it that simple? Will my monthly subscription continue unhindered?Thanks in advance!

I am trying to increase the font size in the footer.  Code shows font-size: small. In Dreamweaver and in the real-time preview the font shows as small.  However, when I move the site to a development server, the font size is still x-small/xx-small.  What am I missing?Thanks for any help.
