I can't find anywhere on the forums where this problem has been reported. I may be wrong.I am on MacOS with DW CC 2018 - when typing values into the CSS Designer immediately after choosing the unit, e.g. "px" results in a double typing of the first character. So for example, if I want to type 100px, I choose "px" from the drop-down, then immediate start typing "100" and I get "1100". This is very frustrating. It is not only on my machine. I have been training last week on 14 iMacs and every single one of them had this problem so it's not a one-off.My CC apps are all completely up to date as of 18th Dec 2017.Can anyone please help?

seit ca. 3 Wochen meldet mein Dreamweaver 8 beim Start Fehler uns stoppt wieder.Dieser Fehler tritt allerdings nur bei WIN7 64Bit auf. Benutze ich WIN7 32Bit läuft das Programm problemlos.Selbst eine Neuinstallation brachte keinen Erfolg. Was ist zu tun, damit ich das Programm weiter verwenden kann?Danke für die Antworten.

I started with making a bind to display code-to-code since the new menu makes it annoying. Since I regularly switch from AZERTY to QWERTY it made it CTRL + Q so I don't close my program by mistake either. Had to make duplicate of bindings, okay everything works.Then I accidentally click CTRL + W which closes the file, my mistake. Looking into bindings and unbinded it. But nothing happens ? Restarted Dw but it still closes with CTRL + W ?

I tried following and the Dreamweaver 5.5 on Windows 10 is not working properly. It's still freezing, lagging or not responding for 30 or more seconds. It's completely unusable.I uninstalled Dreamweaver and made a clean install - nothing has changedI tried sfc /scannow in command line - no errors have been found (Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.)I tried to run Dreaweaver in Windows 7 and Vista compatibility mode - it doesn't make any differenceDo you have any other ideas how to make it work on Windows 10? Dremweaver CC v18.0, Mac Sierra 10.12.6. I set up a Git on one of my sites and all was working fine until this morning, now the Git icon on the files panel is greyed out and a message 'Please wait Git is being initialised' pops up on hover, the Git window is empty. Restart DW and restart Mac and the problem is still there. I have found a bug report that goes back to July (Please Wait, Git being initialized – Adobe Dreamweaver CC: Feature Ideas ) so others are experiencing the same problem. Any know how to fix the problem?

Can I learn PHP on Adobe Dreamweaver?

Hi Guys,I am creating html link in dreamweaver for user to click on the link and move to the next webpage. However, I want to create a check box so that the user can check the box and click on the link, so that when they go back to the main page, the know that they had visited to link by clicking on the check box.How can I do that? For example below, I want to create a check box "as shown in red" so that user can check it and they know they had visited the link before moving on to the next link.Thank you !

PHP Form Mail, on complete and send, opens the "Message Sent" Thank You page, but when click/swipe back, has also retained the just sent form, fully completed, requiring one to also click/swipe back though two pages to return to main site. Note: This isn't a problem with receiving multiple mail receipts, but of clearing the initial form on receiving the completion notification page. Mail delivery works as expected. I was just informed that they would no longer allow it for uploading new pages on one existing site for 'security reasons'. Is there a workaround? A patch in Dreamweaver? Or do I have to download instructions from the web provider to do it another way? Or use File Zilla?

Hello friends,Please could someone point me to my error in the code below.I want to post an assessment for the previous year (2016). However, before the assessment is posted, I want the system to check if I have posted an application for that year 2016 by checking my UserID (uid) and the year. If I have done that already, it should popup a message alerting me that I have already posted for the previous year.taxyr is the year field while DATE_SUB(CURDATE(), INTERVAL 1 YEAR) is used to calculate the previous year in MySQL. There used to be a long window just above the Properties window that showed the current and previous CSS styles for the text highlighted in Design View. It disappeared and I don't know where to find it. I have my Workspace defined to a while now and when I reset it, that missing window still doesn't show up.ThanksAlan

My Dreamweaver CC 2018 is not showing paragraph text in live view or real time preview. I does show it in Design view though. Is this a Dreamweaver problem or mine. I have not run into this before and have been using Dreamweaver way before the CC cam out.

Using the same php form mail obtained from: http://alt-web.blogspot.com/2015/07/responsive-contact-form-with-bootstrap.html...the resulting form, when viewed on 2 different site builds, has a different appearance. Keep in mind, both sites built on retina screen Mac, using same code, and producing different visual results.The appearance of the form mail on site (1) is perfectly normal, while the one on site (2) is 1/2 the visual size; viewed on the same system on which they were built. I'm new to this version. I like to work with the code on the bottom half of the screen and the actual rendering (??) on the top half. I'm showing the rendering on the top half but the bottom half is blank? What am I doing wrong?

A while back, in a galaxy far, far away, I was able to dock the coding toolbar between the live and code views in Dreamweaver. Now in CC 2018, I can't even find the coding toolbar. Does anyone know where it is? Am I missing something?

I'm trying to do a table in my HTML code and it never positions the table rows as rows and instead positions them as inline columns instead, if that's not the issue when the text is outside the table itself. Is there some sort of known bug with the feature because I'm sorry, but I should not have to waste my time trying to do something as simple as a table in an HTML document.  Its absolutely stupid.This is what I have (multiple rows in one column:<table> <tbody>  <tr>   <td>    <tr>Row 1</tr>    <tr>Row 2</tr>    <tr>Row 3</tr>    <tr>Row 4</tr>   </td>  </tr> </tbody></table>...and this is the retarded thing I'm getting, the rows should be underneath each other, because in primary school, that's what I learned what rows are. i was using Dreamweaver cc to create a website and i had decided to use one of Dreamweaver's templates and once i was finished with added my content, i had clicked "save" but then the whole site messed up and nothing would load correctly.Does anyone know why this has happened? 

Is there a way to allow user to enter maths symbols (square root, fraction, x to the power of y,  (3x + y) / 4 (but display in the "horizontal form) when developing using DW CC?

How do I stop Dreamweaver from trying to connect to a server that I have never used?"MyOakenDrive" is the name I gave to a Western Digital MyCloud network drive. As soon as I installed DW CC, this alert popped up. I haven't used this drive in years, let alone ever told Dreamweaver to try and connect to it. How do either 1) tell Dreamweaver to ignore this drive or 2) delete any and all record of this from my Mac?

On collapse, li class "dropdown" opens properly, then on "hover" over the dropdown item "Art Galleries", that dropdown slides downward out of sight, and I must scroll to view entire list (of seven) links.Using dev tools to isolate, but can't seem to hit the exact needed rule to overwrite the height, or if I did locate the particular rule  needed, I failed to properly write the rule to control the height.
