I just noticed a really weird behavior in one of my DW sites (actually my own personal business site).I have an HTML file named “Services-Print-Design.html” that displays fine in DW and when previewed by itself in a browser. The problem is I have several images and even menus in my site that should launch this page when clicked… but nothing happens at all? Hovering over an image or menu button recognizes there is a link before clicking, but clicking does nothing? For instance, I have 6 identical JPEGs on my Home Page and each links to a separate HTML page. Five of the Six links work perfect when clicked in Preview (same when selected from alternate dropdown menu). I have spent 3 hours making sure the code is identical to the other five page links. The page itself shows no errors in code view. I tried renaming the file and updating links throughout the site - no effect? It behaves like that page is just preview-cloaked? My main computer is a 2019 Intel Mac Pro running Sonoma and the latest version of DW.I am being forced to move ALL my 50+ DW sites to my MacBook Pro running Tahoe and the latest version of DW.I have read some articles on how to Export/Import .ste files. I want to copy ALL my server connections (user names, passwords, i.p. address settings, etc.), so from what I gather I should choose the Backup vs the Share export option… is that right?My main concern (if I understand the process correctly) is Export Backup option also retains pointers to all the actual site root folders for each of my customers’ actual images, assets, etc. used on their websites which now all 50+ of those folders are located on my Mac Pro. So if I export my .ste files on the Mac Pro and then import those into the MacBook Pro, those pointers will no longer be valid? I am guessing I will need to copy all those website root assets folders manually onto my MacBook Pro before I do the Import, BUT how will DW locate those r

I am using Dreamweaver 2021, I want to load my past purchased PVII (Projectseven) Extensions. How best to approach this, I downloaded the dmxzone extension manager as i cannot find an adobe one. Is it possible to load my past purchased PVII extensions.  Cheers

It's insanely brilliant but hugely destructive at the same time...at least l get to spend more time relaxing on the beach, drinking beer   Tailwind css laid off a huge amount of staff according to reports and over the last few months high traffic web design  tutorial channels on YouTube are saying they are 'done' and not doing coding tutorial like in the past as views have dropped through the floor!, which impacts revenue.  

Dear Dreamweaver Community,I haven’t used DW for a long time so if you can help me with some coding I will get back on track.I want to have 2-3 pictures WITH an explanatory text packaged in such away that they don’t stray away when moved around or spread apart on large screens.I have tried the   Insert/HTML/Figure command which gives placeholders for just ONE image and a caption. The caption text stacks up like a paragraph even if there is space under the image; looks clumsy. I have seen in this forum a solution, “Float Figure Element” from Osgood_2021, which seems to be the right approach. Now putting these code threads together to get a working script that I can plug in – that’s where I need some help. Could somebody give me a hand?  Thanks, Ingemar, 81 now

  Dreamweaver Version 21.7. Windows 11Adobe Dreamweaver frequently opens with the Code View font set to an extremely small size, requiring manual adjustment each time. This setting does not reliably persist between sessions.In addition, after Dreamweaver has been running for a while, files opened in Code View sometimes display a blank editor with no code visible. The only fix is to close and restart the application.After restarting, the Code View font size resets to a very small size across all open files, requiring manual resizing for each document.

I am trying to add a banner type image to the header of my website - - I was able to insert the image but when to the revised page is uploaded, the format of the page has changed - - I would appreciate some help!

Hi everyone,I am experiencing frequent crashes with Dreamweaver on my MacBook Pro (M3; November-2023 series) running macOS Tahoe 26.2. The triggers for these crashes are very inconsistent; sometimes it happens while deleting a character/word, other times while closing a tab, or even during normal typing.I have encountered similar issues, though less frequently, with Adobe Animate. (I haven't had the chance to extensively test Photoshop, Illustrator, or Premiere yet).Additionally, I am facing prolonged "Beachball" (spinning cursor) issues when opening or closing files like Photoshop or PDFs. I also experience this occasionally within Apple Pages, but I haven't been able to test other applications yet.Is anyone else experiencing these stability issues? Hi there. DreamWeaver is visually rendering my JavaScript code incorrectly. I put the same code in JSFiddle online and the code is correct. I spent a lot of time trying to find out what was wrong till I noticed there is a bug there. What should I do? Is this a bug? I think it has to do with bracket pairs some lines up that are not pairing correctly! See the prints I attached.Thanks.

I'll be using Dreamweaver to create and manage a website. Ideally, I would like to be able to import an existing website then extensively modify it with Dreamweaver. Beginning with a simple site at first then adding more complexity. This is for a Chapter of the USHPA, Mountain Air Soaring Association, (MASA) for which I am the VP. The Mountain Air Soaring domain name is registered to me. We're also a 501(c)3. A website we'd like to pattern ours after is also another USHPA Chapter: the Rogue Valley Hang Gliding & Paragliding Association (similar links and content - less so at our start). A USHPA Chapter I'm also a member if is Center of Lift (the domain name of which is also registered to me). I'll be importing much of the content from COL to the new MASA Chapter as COL will cease being a Chapter after 3/1/26. The COL website is a Google site. hello everyone I am having trouble with my folder structure in Dreamweaver CC 2021 when I create my Dreamweaver template and when I create the div tags I tried to create my style sheet but it always has a ../ it says go One Directory up when I create my root folder I always create a subfolder I'm always used to Dreamweaver a CS6 I just recently switched the Dreamweaver to CC 2021 and in Dreamweaver CS6 when I went to Penn Foster Career school when they taught web design we used Dreamweaver CS6 I attended pennfoster career school back in  20112 and the book I have focused on the template and and linking your pages together and the style sheets and everything was correct when I did the projects back then so now that I switched to Dreamweaver CC 2021 it's telling me to go One Directory up am I supposed to create another folder after I create my root folder It's Tricky please understand that I love using DreamWeaver I just need a guidance and working with Dreamweaver CC 2021 cuz I'm n

I get you may not want to support all of Coldfusion but not correctly commenting out and recognizing Coldfusion comments is literally purposefully misreading the files.  It cannot be hard, but it would be a nice hat tip. Dreamweaver has features such as file management and site search/replace that simply isn't matched in another IDE for ease of use.  If you want people to keep using Dreamweaver this would sure help retain casual ColdFusion users. The aren't ever going to migrate to your other IDE and the hardcore users aren't going start using Dreamweaver just because you respect comments.    The beauty of the <!--- comment is that you can quickly wrap code, including comments <!-- without haven't to remove every comment.  <!---yo dawg<!-- Help a Brother Out --><p>JoeMama would approve</p>---> Thanks!

Since updating Dreamweaver yesterday, pretty much all of my previously purchased P7 extensions have disappeared. How do I get them visible again please?

Using Find/Replace, some characters in Replace window are not in the output.Looks to be triggered by $ sign.E.g., Find  $2812, Replace $4567 returns only 67 in the output The $ sign and the next two characters are missing in the output.

Trying to print this pageYvonne A PetersonIn the HTML I have added a print.css file to try and reduce the size of the image (little blonde girl, killed in the war)  You will see I have over-ridden the rule  .resp_image_new so as to set the max-width from 800px to 400px.  Unfortunately it still prints full size on the A4 paper.  Also. to my great surprise, it has printed this image (on the second of three pages) upside down!  The first page and the last pagr print the right way up.your advice wolud be most appreciatedthanksDavid

You might want to consider converting your websites from Dreamweaver to WordPress. I was having too many issues with P7 code and resulting DW site structure, including slow load and content layout shift, my SEO was low, low, low, so I decided to begin converting my Dreamweaver site to WordPress.The conversion from DW to WP seems manageable but not easy. In a nutshell: copy existing page content into empty WordPress page, then style it. There are many steps required to make this happen. I'm new at this, learning slowly, so don't look to me for expert answers -- ask AI, like I've been doing. Bonjour, Après avoir changé de PC, désactivé la licence Dreamweaver CS5.5 de l'ancien PC et activé celle sur le nouveau, aucune connexion vers les serveurs ne fonctionne, que ce soit en FTP ou SFTP.J'utilise Bitdefender VPN, j'ai exclu Dreamweaver pour ne pas passer par le VPN, j'ai même désactivé le VPN, sans succès.J'ai même réinstallé Dreamweaver, pas mieux.Pour info, l'installation a été faite sur un disque D (partition interne) alors que précédemment il était sur C. Impossible donc de travailler sur les sites.
