When I preview my site, the shopping cart is underneath the login button in the nav bar. I've figured out how to sort by item type (grouping folders, files) and to get the files list at top instead of the folders, but this sort forces the lists into descending order. (See screen grab.) Has anyone figured out how to sort alphabetically after first sorting by type?Thanks,Nick

The last version of Dreamweaver (2017) is the worst of ever and change a lot of things respect to the last stable version (2015 or even better... CS6).I think it's time to close Dreamweaver project and rename the 2017 version with the its correct name:"Muse Editor"Maybe you could alert old customers with this message:"End of an EraThe legendary Dreamweaver is no more...Adobe shut down the software and replace it with Muse Editor"In this way should be more easy understand the limitations and the bugs with 2017 version development.

Hello -I've searched across multiple forums for a solution to this issue, but was unable to come across anything.I am using Dreamweaver CC 2017 and I'm attempting to apply code formatting. I've discovered that including the doctype html declaration tag in the HTML file messes with the formatting rules, specifically with closing tags. I've already reviewed my code formatting settings, and they are as they should be.In example 1 below, the formatting is working properly. In example 2, the closing tags are not aligning with the opening tags properly (this is the issue I'm having; assume ... is the code within head tags).Example 1:<div id="container">     <p>My content goes here.</p></divExample 2:<!doctype html>...<div id="container">     <p>My content goes here.</p>   </div>Notice how the div tags don't align vertically? I am using Dreamweaver CC. I embed jalbum slideshows into my website to display my images. I have been using iframe. The jalbum developers tell me that I should not use iframe for many reasons. Hallo Community!Ich habe seit Monaten Problem mit Dreamweaver CC (2017) -> davor die Vorgängerversion.System: OSX El Capitan (derzeit Version 10.11.5) auf iMac Retina 27" 5K, i7, Fusion Drive, 32GB RamDreamweaver stürzt ständig ab (drehendes Rädchen), so dass ich über den Befehl "Sofort beenden" das Programm beenden muss.Dabei ist es egal, ob ich Code in einer php-Datei ändere, via FTP etwas auf den Server lade o.ä.Diverse Update, sowohl beim Betriebsystem, als auch des Dreamweavers, bzw. aller CC-Programme schafft keine Abhilfe.Ich habe Dreamweaver auch schon manuell deainstalliert und wieder neu installiert.Alle anderen CC-Programme laufen einwandfrei!Kann jemand helfen?Beste Grüße,Markus

Hi,Anybody have idea how to set up a local server with XAMPP 7.1.6 (last version) within the Dreamweaver interface? With previous versions I did it easily. I easily use to find the htdocs folder, but now all is different. I don't see the Xampp folderwhich contains the htdocs (to save my site project in it). I read sometrhing about LAMPP folder and I saw that like a virtual disk. Inside the Lampp folder is the htdocs, but how do I select it as a target folder to set up my local server, if I can not find the Lampp in the finder?Thanks for your patience. I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 - no matter what changes I make to images (eg. rotation or crop), once I "put" the page onto my website, it reverts back to what the image originally looked like. I have tried making changes in Dreamweaver (ie. crop feature), in Word (ie. rotate), in Paint (desperate times!) but nothing works. I've also tried cropping it externally and then putting the new image into the root folder but it still shows the full image once it's uploaded to the website, regardless of what it looks like in Dreamweaver! Help!

Hi I've created a website for my family's business. It's been successful so far apart from viewing it on a mobile device. The bootstrap navbar has links in desktop size on the right but these do not apear in mobile size, a button for a dropdown menu appears but as soon as i touch it its as if the menu is stuck behind the slideshow carousel.  Any help would be much appreciated. I'm not too competent in dreamweaver. I've tried changing things in the css to position the navbar dropdown infront of the carousel. I have 170 computer cartoons on 17 web pages where each page has 10 cartoons on it. Page 1 has the 10 best cartoons on it, page 2 has the next 10 best, etc.https://mchumor.com/computer-cartoons-pg1.htmlI’m always adding new cartoons. If a cartoon is really good, I want to put it on page 1, but then I have to move a cartoon to page two and then shuffle every cartoon on all the other pages.Is there a way of making one huge page with 170-plus cartoons on it where I put some code in after every 10 cartoons telling it to create a “next page” button or a page 1, page 2, page 3 button?I hope this make sense. I think there’s a term for the kind of page I’m talking about, but I don’t know what it is, so I don’t even know what to search for.Thanks!

For a long time I've used Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 for uploading and managing my website and never had a problem with stopping autoplay when posting video or sound clips. But suddenly the Parameters box has disappeared from my screen and so I can't insert the proper info in order to stop autoplay. As a result, all my video and sound clips now start playing the moment you click on certain pages on my site and it's awful!  How can I get back that Parameters option box and stop this from happening?

I am using windows 7.  When I try to start dreamweaver all I get is the Dw flash screen then nothing.  All windows updates are installed.  Any help appreciated.

I am getting these two errors in succession when trying to connect to my host WP Engine. Up until today I was able to connect. After a while with WP Engine support they were unable to help... something about they can't get the path correct to delete some keys in my files to get the connection working again. WP Engine support said to relay this: "the main goal we are looking to accomplish is delete or rename that specified filepath we have been working on. Essentially that will make a new connection available and you can then connect through SFTP. I found tutorials, but they come with apreconfigured code file where the signature will look always like the example. Hi all,I recently have been learning a lot about all the features Emmet has to offer, and found that it has a keyboard shortcut for the action: "Remove Tag" which is Ctrl+K or Ctrl+Shift+; depending on where you look. This action would be very useful to me, however it doesn't appear to work in Dreamweaver, nor does the action appear to be found in the Keyboard Shortcut preferences menu such that a Keyboard shortcut can be associated with it. Am I not looking in the right place? Is there a shortcut already built into Dreamweaver that I'm just not finding? Or did Adobe just decide to omit this functionality?

I have spent a whole week trying to resolve this issue. Am I supposed to download something else with it? add-on's? I cannot understand why a newly downloaded program will not open.I have uninstalled the program 8 times and still no luck when downloading it again.I have contacted support, "they are having technical issues and cannot help me right now" so my frustration is building.I have a full subscription so it shouldn't be a subscription issue. Can someone please help me
