Dear Support Community,I have recently started using SCSS to generate a CSS file from 3 seperate SCSS files. Dreamweaver compiles these three into one 'master' CSS file. It does this automaticcaly when saving the file, which is the way I like it.It works, but it's extremely slow! Compiling takes arround 20 to 30 seconds. Way too slow...I have tried many different things like switching of linting, not using url's inside the SCSS, changing the SCSS Output File Style: nothing helps.I am running the latest Dreamweaver CC version 21.2 on a PC with very fast specs and on Windows 11.Please, help me out with some tips how to solve this problem!MatthijsUtrecht, the Netherlands

I am having template problems with Dreamweaver CS3. The issue can be seen at the following link. It works perfectly on main thumbnail page, but click through pages have the strange issue. Hi,I am using DreamWeaver 21.2, and I am trying to learn how to use Flexbox to create a simple layout in which I have three rows of three rectangles on a larger screen, but that adapts to a single column for smaller screens. In Live View in DreamWeaver, I am able to see the change to the single column layout if I drag the right-border of the Live View viewing area to the left until it becomes smaller than the breakpoint I've defined in my media query. I have the behavior I want working in Live View in Dreamweaver, but when I open my file in a Browser (either Chrome or Edge), I am not able to size my browser window small enough to trigger this behaviour.  There appears to be a limit imposed on how narrow I can make the browser window that prevents me from making it small enough to trigger the breakpoint defined in my media query. If anyone has an idea why I would be able to demonstrate the effect I want in Live View but not in either browser, I would appreciate any s

I have poor vision and I can not really read the small type in the program, for instance the file names on the tabs, or the options in the file-->open or the other options on the pulldown menus, options in the css editor etc. .  The content in the windows is ok for instance I can read the html coding and the preview window.  I don't want to change my display settings of my computer display.-Running the Latest version of Dreamweaver Creative Cloud.-Windows 10 operating system. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I started my web development journey with dreamweaver back in 2016 and have slowly moved away from it as it hasnt really improved much since the last big update I beileve in 2019 or 2020. They used to have a roadmap or atleast some updates periodically but nothing for a long while. I am just curious if anyone knows what the future holds for it. Cheers

Frustrating... I downloaded the latest release  (Dreamweaver CC) and I was hoping things would get a little better but alas, I can no longer Drag and Drop and image from the File Panel into a page.  I have to go to the menu, look for insert, pick image, then scroll to the image I want and click the mouse.  Painful especially when I have many images to drop!To make things worse, I can't even drag files from Finder (iMac) onto a page...  I have over 100 images to attempt to put onto a page and now have to manually do theINSERT > IMAGE > FIND THE IMAGE > Click!Am I missing something?  Any advice appreciated!  Otherwise, back to the older version!  G-r-r-r-r-r-r

Hello there,Why does Dreamweaver 21.1 not support PHP 7.4? Why do I only have to use PHP 7.1? PHP 8 is out, but Dreamweawer doesn't even have PHP 7.4 yet. Why why why ? PHP 7.4 and PHP 8 support should come as soon as possible. This has stressed me out and I can't work.

Is dreamweaver available in standalone app or only as a cloud subscription?  Also, can your dreamweaver edit Wordpress sites and any Ecommerce sites, Like magento or zen desk?

After I build a site I have local content that is superfluous such as test pages and unused images. Is there a way to determine which files (pages, images, etc) are not linked to anything on the web site and don't need to be uploaded to the server?

Does anyone have a clue why some of the features on this site do not work on iOS? At issue is the background image in the quote section and the counter section. On the Apple mobile devices the background image is blurred and/or darkened. I am using a purchased template (support is not responding) and editing the code in DreamWeaver. I am no expert. But I suspect a number of the .js files have errors in the code because when opened in DreamWeaver, the text color in these files turns white midway through the end. Errors exist in a couple .css files too. I can't figure out the glitch in the code and cannot find a source for a clean (or updated?) version of these files. I'm attaching images of the screens in question (from iOS) and how they should look (from my Mac). And here is the list of filenames (.js and .css, some plugins) that I am suspect have errors(?). I have been maintaining 3 websites, two since CS4.  The "manage sites" window in DW 2021 is empty.  How can I retrieve my websites?

Hi Everyone,   I looked eveywhere for a soution, but maybe I am not understanding the CSS syntax as I am pretty new at coding; but I am having trouble centering images in a carousel when it is reduced in resposive width. How could I do this? I am pretty sure I need to modify or add a class but unsure at this point.   My code is visible below, but can be viewed live at (link removed by moderator). On Windows10, when I start dreamweaver, it starts on the laptop display, but I'd rather work with it on the large attached monitor. When I drag it there, it won't size properly and takes some futzing to get it to the right size. And, even after I do that, the drop-down menus are huge and apparently didn't resize properly. Is there a fix?

Hi all,When I open an html file in Dreamweaver and do a Save As to a different folder, such as copying index.html in one folder to another folder using File>Save As, I get the following error:  While executing onLoad, the following JavaScript error(s) occured:At line 75 of file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Dreamewaver 2021\Configuration\Commands\Date_beforeSave.htm": docElements has no properties If I save as in the same folder, I do not get the error. When I open Date_beforeSave.htm, I grabbed this screen shot of the code before and after Line 75, as shown here:I have tried recreating site cache following a reference here in Adobe from 2012 but couldn't find mention of this more recently. I'm not fluent in Java, so have no idea what it wrong with this code.  Creatibe Cloud says my installation is up to date.  I'm currently using DW 21.2 with Windows 11.  This happens in all of my sites in Dreamweaver and has beenhappening for a long time (prior to

Does anyone know of a way to set defaut file types ( for color coding purposes ) against alternative file typesfor examples set .asp pages to always open with VBScript type so that color coding is applied straight away without having to change it for each opened file, which is very annoying. This has been possible in prvious version by editing a file but I can't locate the appropriate file for the 2021 latest update, has anyone done this or know how ? thanks 🙂  

Running a fast 2019 Intel MacBook Pro with Monterrey 12.1 and Dreamweaver 2021. (Just upgraded from a flawless experience with DW CS6.)1. Dreamweaver 2021 FTP Uploads are painfully slow, plus they start and stop very frequently.2. Also, FTP Upload passwords are not remembered after quitting DW and reopening app.3. Open in Browser does not work no matter from where I select it. (My browser preferences are set correctly, but Open in Browser is unresponsive.)I've been Googling all 3 of these issues and not finding much helpful. Is there anyone here who can assist? Thanks!

Hi there, I always add Alt text through the Properties panel when I add an image. Please can anyone advise if adding the text of that particular page to the Alt box would work, it seems to easily accept it, only see a few words when I test it so maybe only a short description would show up? 

Yes, sorry, I am using old DW2015, because it works just fine, now so slow, not so buggy.Just reinstalled Windows, Installed Creative Cloud, but cannot run DW2015.Seems all links dead, or anyone knows where to get it?  

Hello. I'm having trouble with text thatis only showing in browser mode. I can't find it anywhere in the code or text. I'm working into a previous designers  page and it has me stumped.
