Hello!We have been using substance painter for our UE4 project, and we've been starting to port it into Switch/PS4/Next Gen stuff, but to my understanding the plugin we get from the store doesn't have the correct run time?Do we need to do something? How do we get access to the right plugin? Regards!JP
Hello, 3dsmax 2022-2023 with Substance2 material applied (ver 2.4.5 - 2.4.6), only uses around 20% of CPU power.The same project with 3dsmax 2021 and Substance2 (ver 2.4.2) uses 100% CPUs. Same issue with Arnold, VRay & Physical materials!! Any idea to fix this!!?? ThanksBabak
Hello,I am using the Mixamo Add-on and getting this error in the System Console:C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\3.1\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\mixamo_rig.py:2722 rna_uiItemO: operator missing srna 'export_scene.gltf'
No matter what I do the Substance Add-on for Blender wont show up. I've tried installing the Substance Add-on for blender at least 15 times! I've installed through preferences by clicking on the zip folder. Upon refresing the addon list nothing appears for me to activate. After this installation the files ARE moved to the --/appdata/roaming/blender foundation/blender/[version]/scripts/addons-- folder but do not show up in the add-on editior in blender, which I need to activate the add-on. I've also installed 'manually' by extracting the addons contents into said folder, still nothing. I've tried this in blender 3.1.2, 3.0, 2.93, and 2.92. No luck in any of them, I just want to use substance in this project I'm using, and the addon seemed pretty useful. Anyone with similar experiences or suggestions I'd appreciate it!!
So here is what is happening - You can see it says modual installed. This is a portable zip install but I have also tried it on a installed to c drive version of blender I THOUGHT the intigration tools WAS the ADDOn but the addon is Substance3DInBlender-0.16.0.zip not the intigration one. we install the intigration package second here it says it is loaded and but I can not find it. reason being I had the wrong addon I saw windows and I saw download and I got the addon that the link said I was getting I did not realize that there is also an intigration package. A note that said Substance3DInBlender-0.16.0.zip must be installed first. It might prevent this progect from getting a bad rap. If a person is in a hurry they wont notice they are installing the wrong package. The link did say I was going to download the blender addon and I we
I read today about the new blender plugin for substance. I wanted to download it, but the site tells me, that I am not allowed to do so. Would it be possible to access it with a legacy license which I own?
Been using the new Substance Plugin for Unity (beta) that got released end of March 2022. Upon importing the package, it updated all of the existing sbar files and introduced a subfolder for each instance of the Substance. If you move the sbar file and its subfolders to another directory, any attempt to do anything will generate an error because the sbar file is trying to find tga, materials, etc that were in the previous hardcoded path rather than relative to its new location.

I've been exploring the Substance scripting API for Unity and am curious if there currently exists any method to load a preset via script? For instance, say I have a regular rocky ground and a wet, flooded rocky ground as 2 separate presets made in designer that I export with the SBSAR. Is there undocumented functionality to load the preset instead of changing individual values?
I've tried both the Substance, and Substance 2 map in 3ds max (Using Max 2022 atm). When changing to a preset for a SBSAR then changing the resolution it will revert to the default settings in the substance. It will also and up reverting back after a few moments if nothing is changed. This error is making the subtance obsolete, and would really like to see if there is a fix, or if it's been noticed previously.Thank you,Ethan OlsonEnvironment Artist @ Amazon Games

Hi, I'm using the "Substance 3D for Unity" asset for a bit now and never had any real issue until now. Since last update, Unity only gets 1 graph of any substance i try to import. So for example i have a ceiling substance whith lights, and i like to separate the ceiling in a graph, the light in an other and then merge the two in a third graph. But now when I import the substance in Unity, i only get the ceiling's graph without the rest. I get the same issue with any of my multiple graph substances. Do i need to get one more step in my workflow now ?Substance 2018 (Steam) - Unity 2020
Hey Adobe Team, every material request seems to force substance2 map to rebuild the maps. 3ds Max constantly freezes after every render and every change in the material editor. No difference between GPU und CPU substance rendering. This is annoying. Our only solution is to export the maps (bake output) and reload them manually. within a substance designer asset used in C4D/ redshift is it possible to drive a input node with either a dynamic vertex map (using fields in c4d to animate them) or use a baked out image sequence to make this an animated parameter? I have figured out how to get a single static image input but this needs to move. being able to do this would make for some incredible animated procedural materials.

Question to the community:In your Unity workflow, how often do you all use scanned sbsar files that have a fixed output resolution? Your input/insights would be very useful to help us understand whether or not we should support this.
Hi, New to the 3D-world.Is it possible in Stager to have a meterial that have bumps outside of the object. For example I want a cube with paint on it that should look like a rough roller painted it. I tried to have that effect on this stone but the top is smooth, but i want it to have texture on the outside. Is this possible?
I want to bake out the output of Substance, specifically its material and texture assets, and delete the .sbsar from my project. This is a workaround for numerous issues, like bugginess on Apple Silicon platforms, and that FBX files lose their links to Substance materials when imported on a machine for the first time, breaking build automation.
Hi 🙂Unfortunately I get this Error whenever I try to load the sbsar file in blender.I tried re-installing, it seems to be the newest available version, and I can't find any information about this error online. What can I do to resolve this issue?THANK YOU in advance!
Stoked to use the new add-on with Blender, but this pops up every time I load Blender with the add-on and integration tools enabled, or when I try to install the integration tool via .exe from explorer. Any idea what's going on here?
Hi. I just bought one month of the 3D texturing pack for individuals (if I remember correctly) but when I press install, it opens the creative cloud app but I can't see any of the 3D texturing apps. I can only see the apps that I already had, like photoshop, premiere pro etc. So I can't install anything. How do I solve this? I had the other apps through my school but I was using the same account as the one I used to get the 3D texturing pack. I hope someone can help me 🙂

The Live Link to Substance painter from Unity doesn't work anymore with the new version of Substance Painter.
