Hi. I don't know if I have touched something or not in Illustrator's configuration, on the Mac, or it is a bug of the program, but the case is that the navigation keys work totally opposite. That is to say, when I press the up key ↑, the object or shape goes to the left; and vice versa. And when I press the left key ←, the object or shape goes downwards; and vice versa. This problem does not occur, neither with the Beta version, nor with the 2024 version and everything is normal. Greetings!   macOS Sonoma 14.7.6 Adobe Illustrator 2025 v.29.5.1

Hi all,another question has come up. I already apologize if the answer is very simple, and I just missed it so far.The following setup is used:Windows 10Adobe Illustrator 27.8.1 (64-bit)The latest SDK 2023I have created one plugin with several different custom tools.I have enabled selection-changed and tool-selected notifier, connected to callback-functions. Therefore, I know which tool is currently selected. My goal now is to figure out how to change, which tool is selected or activated in Illustrator.For example: One of my tools was selected by the user and then a specific button is clicked. Now I want the current tool to be disabled, and another tool to be enabled. Just as if the user would have clicked on the other tool icon in Illustrator. So, my question is, which SDK suite or API functions can I use to tell Illustrator to disable the current tool and enabled one of my other tools instead.Thank you very much in advance.Fabian T.

I am so frustrated with the color picker. I look on the Internet for solutions to fix the grayscale and they say to make sure you are in RGB mode, which I am. The video shows that I am in RGB with the color window open. I also uninstalled and reinstalled, and that didn't fix the problem either. Can anyone help me please? I'm on a MacBook Pro 2024 with the latest version of Illustrator (29.5.1).

I'm trying to switch from a competitor program to illustrator. I am not a pro just a hobbyist trying to do graphic art. I'm trying to learn geometric constructions to use in creating graphics. In the other program I use a tool called the point transform tool that allows you to to rotate and scale objects at the same time. I use it a lot to create tangent and inscribed circles. I can't seem to find an equivalent tool or set of tools in Illustrator. Can someone help point me in the right direction. Thanks so much for your help. 

I swear this worked before. When I select "extrude" in the 3d panel the shape that is created has color/lighting on only the front face. All the rest are black. I just reset all preferences, turned GPU on/off and updated Illustrator and it still doesn't work right. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help. MacOS 15.5Illustrator 29.5.1  

Hello I bought the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 with Snapdragon X Elite, but I was only able to work on Adobe Illustrator as web-based app, you can't download it as an app. When will you launch Illustrator for Snapdragon X Elite?

So my problem is,The previews look alright, but mosts texts are missing when I load 2 different illustrator files.the textboxes are still there but nothing shows and I don't know what happened or how I can fix this problem. Very strange,does anyone know what to do?

In the past two days, two-page PDFs that I save out of CS6 are printing with the second page upside down. I have tried resaving the documents—didn't work. Tried saving the documents as individual PDFs and combining the PDFs in Acrobat—didn't work. I have had my colleagues print them, and the second page is upside-down too. When I print two-page PDFs that I saved last week or longer ago, I have no problem at all. It just seems to be happening with recently saved PDFs. I didn't update any software on my computer between saving the PDFs that are printing correctly and when this problem began.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Brush library is full, they come back after being deleted once document is closed and reopenend.The script doesnt work and files are not workable!!! Hallo zusammen,ich kann seit heute bei Illustrator CC plötzlich die Kurven-Ankerpunkte nicht mehr anfassen.Sprich, ich ziehe den Pfad mit dem Pfadwerkzeug auf, halte gedrückt um eine Kurve zu erstellen. Dann möchte ich mit Hilfe des weißen Pfeils, oder der Taste "strg" den Pfad erneut anfassen und verändern. Solange ich die Maus gedrückt halte und den Ankerpunkt versetze, kann ich die Kurven-Anfasser auch sehen. Lasse ich den Ankerpunkt allerdings los, sind sie verschwunden.Hatte schon mal jemand ähnliche Schwierigkeiten mit Illustrator? Vielleicht irgendetwas in den Einstellungen verdreht? I just updated to the newest Illustrator.Been working in a 2018 version for years. Hitting things I don't know how to shut off.I don't want these tiny circle things on. They are making it hard to grab objects and move them.How do I turn this off? 

I've created an infographic that contains a custom bar chart, not many layer or sublayers yet and am pleased with how things are progressing. For the background, I Placed a jpg of a sheet of watercolor paper that has some soft texture, and it is located on the bottom-most layer, then adjusted to 25% opacity, no blend mode. Now, whatever shape or line I subsequently create has the same transparency as the watercolor paper... even though all the opacity settings for every element in every layer and sub-layer is set to 100% opacity. No blend modes. Oddly enough, once I remove the watercolor layer and begin drawing again, all shapes and strokes have normal transparency. I can adjust the brightness of the watercolor paper in PS then Place again in Ilustrator.  How can an element in the bottom layer affect transparency in the upper layers?  I'm stumped.  *attached is an example that illustrates the problem. 

I like my UI being small, everything is spaced out so I can click where needed without bumping the wrong thing.  The reference grid on the other hand, is a pain with the nine dots so close I'm constantly misclicking.  I don't have to change the size of anything else, besides enlarge the Reference Point Grid and I'm curious if anyone has a solution. 

I'm trying to  make  pug fur  using blends  and roughen. Acording to a youtube video , the final step is to make an opacity mask to "permit furry ends"---see   attached.Can't figure out how to  do masks!!!!!! ????????

Sometimes I am unable able to select a tool I was already using. I cannot click on the tool but I can select other tools. This will last for a short period of time (1 - 2 mins) and then I am able to use all of the tools again. It seems to be random as far as which tool will freeze.

Just to give a little insight into what we do and the issue we've had since we updated too Sonoma.  I own and run a fine art printing shop.  Been printing off Adobe programs since we started this in 2009 (and been using Adobe programs since the mid 1990's).  Over the years I've dealt with issues printing off of Adobe programs but always found a work around or the underline issue. My current issue since I updated from Sonoma and now Seqouia, is printing presets.  They no longer save the way they use too.  Say I have a new file that has to be printed and I have a preset saved for a job we've worked with in the past, I would just apply that preset and not have to add all the details for said printing within the Print Settings box.  I thought Seqouia wouldve maybe come with an update with Adobe programs, but it's showing the same issue I've dealt with for almost two years. This isn't just one printer either it's all seven printers we have running in
