Hey community, I recently started drawing a mandala design with the following instructions, so that I only needed to draw in one pie piece and it would reflect around the whole mandala:https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/how-to-draw-mandala-using-illustrator/td-p/11840705 Unfortunately i've nearly gotten to the end of my manadal and the reflection has stopped working. When ever I draw a shape in the original pie piece it does not reflect in the others as it has been.Does anyone know how i might be able to fix this? Thanks in advance! Danica

I'm sure this has been discussed, but I wasn't able to find a solution.Every time I copy pixel data with transparency from Photoshop into illustrator, it is filled with a white background. Is there any way to copy and paste into Illustrator without this happening?For example, say I have a doodle done in Photoshop that I want to incorporate into an Illustrator layout. I select said layer the doodle lives on, hit ctrl/cmd-c, and then select my target document and hit ctrl/cmd-v. The exact visual information is transferred into the new layer with no noticeable changes. However, in illustrator, the transparent info would be lost, and replaced with white.I know how to place files with transparency, but that's WAY slower and requires otherwise unnecessary file management. I am trying to edit this PDF so I converted it into AI format in illustrator however I still can't edit it and the only thing I can select is these grid squares? I have tried everthing to try fixing this but I just cannot find a way to be able to select anything. I can select the individual squares and isolate them but i can only move and delete them not select any lines. Please help   

My Type tool has defaulted to setting text alignment Right to Left instead of Left to Right.I have changed the language to English UK and clicked the align text button to left to right, but to no avail.I have attached 2 images for reference.The second image shows the cursor tool but the arrow underneath points to the left rather than the right.

I'm running Illustrator 29.1 on an M1 Mac running Sonoma 14.3.1. I rely a lot on guides, but they keep disappearing when I'm trying to set them. Has anyone else experienced this? I just downloaded the latest Illustrator, and this new feature is wild and crazymaking. Thank you!

Hello, Since a few months every time I want to view my work in presentation mode, my screen dims grey after and it doesn't go away. Only when I go in my browser and put my arrow on a tab it dissapears. I have to restart my pc to get it away.I can't take a screenshot because it's not visible then. I have seen other users ask the same question on Reddit, but no solutions.  Please don't just ask my specs or tell me to uninstall everything, everything worked fine until one update.

Hallo Liebe Comunity, ich habe mir vor einigen Tagen die neuste version von Illustrator auf meinen PC heruntergeladen. Auf meinem Grafiktablet arbeite ich mit einem Stift an meinen Projekten. In ilusstrator ist es jedoch so, wenn ich mit dem Stift in die Scrollleiste an der linken Seite Timme um das Bild nach oben oder unten zu bewegen, lässt er diese nicht mehr los. Wenn  ich den Stift dann wieder auf das Blatt richte, bewegt sich dieses ohne dass ich etwas tue nach oben oder unten. In Indesing oder Photoshop tritt das Problem nicht auf. Außerdem tritt es nur auf, wenn  ich versuche mit dem Stift zu scrollen. Wenn ich mit meinem Mauszeiger den Schieber nach oen oder unten bewege und loslasse, kann ich noirmal arbeiten.   Gibt es dafür irgend eine Einstellung oder kann ich das Problem anders beheben?. Neu instalation des Programms hat nicht geholfen. Alle treiber sind auf dem aktuellen Stand.

Can Adobe Illustrator 2025 generative vector results be commercialized in marketplaces other than Adobe Stock?

Major issue with smart guides active while trying to scale an object with the shift constraint. All snapping turned off, Snapping Tolerance set to 0 or any of several numbers ranging from 0-128, doesn't change a thing. The contrained scale attempt makes the object jitter as if it's snapping to something (nothing else on the Artboard), after mouse release the scaling object snaps back to its original scale. Only option is to turn on/off Smart Guides, not effienct for professionals. 

Illustrator (29.1) is making two copies rather than one when I option drag a single symbol and any number of non symbols together.As far as I can tell all other combinations of selected objects work as normal .This is seriously messing up my workflow so any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I see several posts about double click to isolate not working, but my problem is a little more specific - it works with my USB mouse (mice, actually), but not with a Bluetooth one. The layers panel across the top of the page only shows up after double-clicking with a USB mouse. I otherwise prefer the Bluetooth mouse, the others are a bit old and creaky, but as is it's useless for Illustrator.. Illustrator 2025 (29.1), MacOS 12.7.6 (newest possible for this machine). Of suggestions seen so far, I don't have Magnet installed (whatever that may be), and the double-click speed is already set to maximum. Thanks,Barbara

Just like in the subject line. The main selection tool keeps selecting random objects in the proximity (5cm on the screen)  that are far and I'm not hovering over instead of objects I'm actually trying to select. It's like I've got some sort of selection support or easing turned on and It's guessing which elements I am trying to interact with.I'm on Illustrator 2025, already restarted both it and the computer, After a quick google I can't find any mentions of this issue anywhere.

i saw the ligature option is grey out, why?please let me know how to turn it off.OMG i want to turn it off forever in all the Adobe programs!

Hey Aobe Community! I have one for you. I've been running into this issue periodically. I'll change the color of a shape (usually and in this instance with the eye dropper tool) and the object will remain the previous color. The thing is, The appearance panel indicates it's filled with the desired color (#000000) Is this a glitch, a memory issue, or a property/setting? Any help would be appreciated.

Whenever i go to click on my old files this keeps coming up anyone know, what this is?

When trying to export it won't let me export the Illustrator file out as PSD no matter what DPI I put it, never had any problem before.. i tried everything I even used multiple computers, same error everytime, i need this project as an psd file, with the layers icluded, png is no option.. link to the file: https://we.tl/t-lU24HydYeU

I recently shifted from a PC to a Mac Mini Pro M4, Sequoia 15.2. My Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator is 29.1. I was hoping that switching to a Mac would provide better responsiveness than my older PC. But many of the shortcuts that worked on my PC do not work on this Mac. I also cannot mannually enter values for things like angles, dimensions, etc. None of the answers from the 2023 posts that reported this same problem worked at all. Do I just need to find alternative programs to run on this Mac? So far, very disappointing switch.

Hello. I typically recieve PDF files from clients for offset printing.  Usually, I used to embed the file into Illustrator and then flatten it so that only the missing fonts would become outlined and could keep the way its supposed to look. But lately, now it only imports with the pink highlight that shows fonts missing withut any way to keep the look of the original font. Is there a way to outline missing fonts so I can continue to edit copy for the active fonts? Ive seen in other discussions some people say that printers should not be outlining fonts at all, but was not sure why. If anyone knows a way around missing fonts that are not adobe, it would be much appreciated.

Hi,I have only one artboard on which some data is modified with a set of variables.I would like to create an action that allows you to export it to png using different names for each row of the set.Of course I use the actions panel, but exporting to a specific folder the system uses the same name as the output file, effectively replacing the file just created. So instead of having 30 different pngs, I only have 1 (the last one of the set).Can anyone help me?
