Hi all, I'm looking for the option for turning off saving to a folder named after the scale of an asset. For example, if I'm exporting an asset @16x, illustrator creates a new folder called @16x and saves my image there, instead of the folder I navigated to. Same thing for PDF exports. I remember there used to be a checkbox I could uncheck to fix this, but I can't seem to find it! I would suspect it should be in Settings>File Handling but I don't see anything that rings a bell. Help is much appreciated!

Hi,I have a script which in one part searches for a particular spot color in either the stroke or fill and moves it to a layer. I would like to know how to handle not finding that color and moving on with rest of script. As of now if it doesnt find the spot color it stops and gives an error message. Hello,I've recently had a problem in Illustrator, which manifests itself in the fact that when I select any object in the project using the selection tool, the program performs this action for 2-3 seconds. And if I move the cursor during this time, the object I'm selecting sticks to the cursor and moves with it to the place where I move the cursor. This makes it impossible to work.Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone know of any possible solutions?I work on the full Creative Cloud package and the latest updates. The computer is a MacBook Pro.As I mentioned at the beginning, I've had the problem recently. I tried uninstalling the application and reinstalling it, as well as downgrading to a lower version of Illustrator, but the problem is still there.Help!

trying to export a document as a PNG and getting this error... as you can see the document is not empty, at least not my definition of empty. but illustrator seems to think it is... any ideas?  

I replicated a work in a video. To get the similar image I have to choose a appropriate values, where as values given in the video is quite different. I wish to know whether it is usual occuarance or incorect work in my part.      

I've suddenly been having an issue with text boxes in illustrator.  When using a text box, sometimes the font randomly changes. For example if I am typing in Arial but then select the whole text box and chnage the font to Times, when I continue typing it just starts in Arial again. I contacted adobe support about this and they told me it was because I was using character or paragraph styles. However I am not using either, and this issue still persists even if I start a brand new Illustrator file.  It doesn't happen consistantly either though. Only some fonts, only some text boxes and only some files. Please help, I feel like I'm going crazy. 

How do I stop this from showing up every time I open my CC Library?

Hi,I have some SVGs from Figma that I need for a print project in Illustrator. I was told that SVGs are RGB, so if I export them from Figma, open them in Illustrator, and change the color mode to CMYK, does it adjust the SVG? When I do this, it seems like nothing changes.  

Hello, I am trying to export to DXF format from Adobe Illustrator. Initially, I did not see DXF as an export option. I made the canvas size smaller and then was able to export as DXF. My Question: Do you know what the max canvas size (or file size) for converting to DXF format?

When i write something in a sheet with black background and the text is color white, the text cannot seen and i don´t know why.

The tool follows would follow the logic of creating an individual form!A direct selection-tool that can be scaled, moved and also rotated live would be an awesome feature.

I have a pattern in Illustrator. I have transformed the pattern (scale, rotate, etc.) within an object.The pattern is only transformed within that object. The parent pattern remains the same.I want toView the transformations I have made (e.g. 45° rotation, 95% scale)Save transformed pattern as new patternUpdate parent pattern to match pattern within objectThe ability to do any one of these would answer this question. The third would be similar to redefining a paragraph of character style based on current overrides in Illustrator or InDesign.

Hello, Printing in Illustrator will be a liability in preparation. When I want a black vector to be overprinted in the print file, the vector becomes transparent. Is this a problem? If it is a problem, does anyone know the solution? thanks.

We bought a new computer for an employee, installed Windows 11 and Ai 2024. The fonts we use are stored on the share. I downloaded and installed the fonts. But now when she opens the files, the desired font is not used and the font name has asterisk next to it. These are the same fonts that the rest of the staff use and that she used on her old computer. What could be the problem?

Desde esta mañana, illustrator me da un problema que me impide trabajar. Tiene una latencia enorme entre el click (o cualquier imput de comando rápido de teclado) y la acción. Al clicar para seleccionar cualquier cosa tarda varios segundos en seleccionar. Si en ese proceso muevo el ratón, arrastra la pieza. Estoy ahora mismo editando tablas y mapas, y es imposible trabajar. Me pasa en Illustrator 25 pero en el 24 y el 23 he probado y pasa igual. No tengo plugins instalados. En PC con windows funciona sin problema, no da este problema. Por decirlo de algún modo, la acción se queda pegada. Por ejemplo, si pulso barra espaciadora para desplazar, la mano se queda bloqueada, tengo que volver a pulsar la barra espaciadora, no me activa ningún otro comando rápido hasta que la vuelvo a pulsar.  Esto no me había sucedido antes, llevo así desde esta mañana.

I can't find my Layers button

I opened Illustrator and I couldn't find my Layer button.

Hi there, I have tried everything possible including writing the support several times (including Remote work) however no one seems to have a solution to such a porblem (On a Mac instead of Windows machine)I have a font (Hiragino Mincho Pro) via Adobe fonts installed which is not shown up in Illustrator however in every other Adobe programm which I use (Photoshop/Indesign).Is there any fix which is known of?

In share for review, the previews allow the viewer to change the page view to “Fit Window Width” or “Fit Full Page” in the lower-right corner.We really need an “Actual Size” view setting. It would solve issues such as unwanted enlargement of small designs and checking details on very large designs. BONUS: The ability to select a default view in our Share For Review settings would be the icing on the cake!
