Hello, Printing in Illustrator will be a liability in preparation. When I want a black vector to be overprinted in the print file, the vector becomes transparent. Is this a problem? If it is a problem, does anyone know the solution? thanks.

We bought a new computer for an employee, installed Windows 11 and Ai 2024. The fonts we use are stored on the share. I downloaded and installed the fonts. But now when she opens the files, the desired font is not used and the font name has asterisk next to it. These are the same fonts that the rest of the staff use and that she used on her old computer. What could be the problem?

Merhaba, Pdf olarak hazırladığım kataloğu (pdf veya illustrator fark etmiyor) montaj sayfama yerleştirdim. Just now I installed this font & close the Ai app & reopened it to take effect, but it says font is not found. How to fix it?

I can't find my Layers button

I opened Illustrator and I couldn't find my Layer button.

Hi there, I have tried everything possible including writing the support several times (including Remote work) however no one seems to have a solution to such a porblem (On a Mac instead of Windows machine)I have a font (Hiragino Mincho Pro) via Adobe fonts installed which is not shown up in Illustrator however in every other Adobe programm which I use (Photoshop/Indesign).Is there any fix which is known of?

In share for review, the previews allow the viewer to change the page view to “Fit Window Width” or “Fit Full Page” in the lower-right corner.We really need an “Actual Size” view setting. It would solve issues such as unwanted enlargement of small designs and checking details on very large designs. BONUS: The ability to select a default view in our Share For Review settings would be the icing on the cake!

This function is long overdue and I am loving it. However, as someone who uses it multiple times a day, every day, I think there are a couple of things I think could make it better.1. The ability to group files together in the same link.I'm not a fan of "writing over" an existing file so that I can click on "update content". That is ok for small changes, but when the client is asking for significant updates/changes, I prefer to save a new file named "rev 1" or something similar. This then requires me to get a whole new link for them. It would be nice to not have to do this.2. When I update a file, it would be cool if the viewer was automatically notified instead of me having to send another email to them with the new link (or notification that it's ready) each time. Maybe this would require the capability of emailing direct from Illustrator in order for it to work but I'm not sure. I have also tried adding the new link to the comments or just telling the client in the comments that it'

Ok, so maybe I'm asking too much. I've seen how to achieve a knockout group stroke transparency, but I was wondering how to make the underlying shape curve to the shape of the above shape stroke I'm here:And I'd like to achieve the following result without having to divide the shape or anything moreburdensomeThis will make my life easier in the following months if this can be achieved.Thank you in advance 🙂

Hi,I am trying to create a type style logo that shows all the anchor point handles used to create it, and am failing to find an option to view all handles at once on an object. When more than one point of an object is selected using the direct selection tool handles begin disappearing, so I cannot use print screen for a quick solution. Does anyone know of a way to show all handles of an object at once, or better yet, render them out along with the image?

Hi,I'm writing a Photoshop and Illustrator extension and I'm tryting to find the Javascript code that will open the standard colorpicker in Illustrator. Does anyone know the correct Javascript code I need to call in Illustrator to open the standard Illustrator colorpicker from a JSX file?In Photoshop the call is -  app.showColorPicker() - which works fine, but I cannot find an equivalent call for Illustrator. I  do have a copy of the Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 Scripting reference (latest I could find on the internet) - which publishes the following command to open a colorpicker in Illustrator$.colorPicker()The problem is that this command (with the dollar sign) only opens an old legacy colorpicker and not the standard colorpicker that people expect to use- see image (the old legacy colorpicker that opens is the one on the right - but I need to open the colorpicker on the left)i.is.cc/2D3xWNmK.png  thanks in advance 

No sé si le he dado a algún comando sin darme cuenta, pero al usar la herramienta de selección no puedo seleccionar ningún elemento desde dentro sino dando clic al vector en el contorno

My set up:Illustrator 2025 (happens on my 2024 version as well)Wacom CintiqMac mini running M1 chip Regardless of which tool I choose AND reguardless of whether I'm using my mouse or Wacom pen, it keeps switching to the hand tool. Smashing my space bar seems to undo it for a moment and then it comes back making work almost impossible.I've seen many suggestions that it is my keyboard but it only happens in Illustrator and not when I am working in any other program which points to an Adobe issue.  I would certainly notice if my space bar were stuck in any other program. Additional info: I purchased and downloaded brushes for Illustrator and shortly after adding them the problem started. Don't know if it's a coincidence. 

Help! I have got Illustrator on a 7 day free trial and I already have problems. Much of the toolbar is greyed out and I cannot use most of the tools! I have looked for advice and changed from basic to advanced and back many times, tried resetting essentials,  the greyed out tools won't drag onto the displayed tool bar. What else can I try? This is so frustrating and not a great start for a beginner!

Bonjour! Je deviens folle, si quelqu'un sait me donner un coup de main 😊 Je dois réaliser des découpes sur un plotter, mais à force de manipulation, mon dessin vectoriel a, par endroit, des doubles voir triple traits superposés. Ce qui est fort problématique, car dans ce cas, mon plotter passe 2 à 3 fois au même endroit, ce qui abime tout. J'ai tout testé avec le pathfinder et autre, mais impossible de trouver: Comment supprimer les tracés doubles ou triples superposés? Merci!

Hello Adobe Community! I've been having this issue for quite a while and can't find an answer online. Every time I open an Illustrator file which contains placed images I get "An error occured trying to read the linked file". Its been like this for months now, everytime i think they are going to fix it is not fixed, I cant chose any options between inside or outside, Its like blank, as if the buttons where disabled. I tried doing it on everything, text a path a shape nothing works. 

I'm using Ai 29.1 - There're some texts on paths that I've created on previopus Ai versions. Now the issue is when i move these texts. the alignment of the text changes to be similar or exactly like (gravity) option, despite it's on (rainbow) option.tried to change it from (type on a path options) but it gives same result for both (rainbow) and (gravity) options.

How can I create different bleed sizes on different artboards in one document?

Hi, I have a Pantone color object in Illustrator. I didn't create it myself, I received it for a graphic work use.When I export it to different formats (PDF, JPG, PNG, etc.) it becomes faded - see pictures below. It also happens when I copy and paste into InDesign. What can be the reason and what can I do? Thanks
