Why is my mask going to other artboards?

He estado trabajando varios dias en un archivo de ilustrator en la nube de adobe (.aic). Esta mañana retomé el trabajo, pero Illustrator se quedó bloqueado y luego se reinició mi computadora (una imac casi nueva), y ahora el archivo parece como lo dejé hace dos días. No puedo creer que perdí todo el trabajo de ayer!!!! A pesar de que guardé innumerables veces! Icloud me muestra el archivo y dice que lo edité "anteayer". como puedo acceder al archivo recuperado?? por favor ayuda gracias

How can I remove a white background of a jpeg in illustrator?

Is anyone else having trouble exporting files to PNG? My export window keeps closing by itself and I can't save my files. Has anyone seen any bug reports about this?

Hello, Illustrator just crashed, no error, no nothing. I lost two hours of work. There are no restored files. Nothing. Just lost all my work. I can just f*cking start over. Fix your buggy software, Adobe. 

How can I cut a section out of an SVG file and save it to a new file, including the paths? If needed, should I export it as PNG and then convert the PNG back to SVG Help would be great

Hola, como podrán ver, dentro de Ilustrador los colores no me aparecen como son normalmente, yo no he cambiado ningún perfil o ajuste de color previamente. Pueden ver que los colores de muestra aparecen más oscuros. A pesar de eso, al exportar los colores me aparecen bien, alguien que tenga una solución? 

Hi, i know its not the correct way to work but.... Is it possible to package a an Adobe Illustartor Creative Cloud file to another folder on my creative cloud?

Something weird was happening so I reset preferences. In order for it to take effect I had to restart Illustrator and when I reopened a file all my work outside the artboard has gone missing. Am I crazy?  

Say I have a 100 circles in different sizes, and I want illustrator to organize them for me, instead of moving them one by one. Does anyone know a way (script maybe?) to organize them so they are spreaded on the sheet with a defined gap inbetween them, so they dont overlap?Thanks:)

Dear all, I would like to make banner in Illustrator 2019 with size 10 meter * 0.70 meter but when I'm create new file Illustrator allow only size 577.955 cm * 577.955 cm. I'm hoping everyone can help me.     {Renamed by MOD}

I sometimes use Illustrator to create simple vector art from my line drawings, so it comes out as black with a transparent background.It seems the only feature that works is the High FIdelity Photo and Low Fidelity Photo, which I don't want.If you try to use the other presets, it shows a white box and the artwork disapears.  I don't know if this is a bug or if they changed how to use this feautre.

Hello. My menu drop-downs are all compressed, only showing 2/3's of the options. Relying on me to use shortcuts for so many commands. Many though, I don't know and its very frustrating.  Did I collapse them somehow? How do I undo this, or expand drop-downs. Thanks.

Graphic Design student here. I was working on a class assignment on the latest Illustrator version. I was working for about 3 hours. I periodically save my work, probably every 15-20 minutes. I got to a good break point, saved my file, and exited Illustrator. When I reopened the file later, about 90 percent of my progress was GONE. It has reverted to a save point that was only about 15 minutes into my process.  This is extremely frustrating, as this is probably the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened to me. I've gotten lucky so far that it has not been more than a couple hours of work. But I am concerned that this could happen on an even larger scale! Adobe software is supposed to be industry standard, so why do myself and others keep encountering terrible bugs such as this? Its really quite infuriating.  If anyone knows a way to recover my progress, I would greatly appreciate your input. So far, I haven't been able to find any solutions, even though I have found othe

At work when I apply the simulated «color paper-function» and sets the color to light grey, I can still use the white color as (visible) white. In other words, the background is light grey and my white elements are white. They´re visible against the light grey background…When i boot up my other computer at home and log into my Adobe account (the same as work) and start Illustrator, the function works differently. Then all white is replaced with the same color as the simulated background color. Now i can´t see my white elements anymore.I know I can work around by using another layer with fill, but that´s not ideal. I´ve tried new documents and I´ve tried opening documents from work on the home computer.Same thing. Strange.Anyone?

I Usually use my default color swatches that illustrator automatically gave me when I first downloaded it... but now when I open new documents, those don't show up anymore.. No my settings are not on greyscale. I did however catch it on greyscale when I first encountered this problem. The color swatches have been lost ever since then. How do I get my default Illustrator color library that Illustrator first starts you off with back in my color swatches and how do I keep it there??

Hi,I have an .eps vector file with glowing sparks,for some reason, which I have encountered many times before, the glowing vectors always have black background, so you can't really save them as a transparent PNG image.I was wondering if you can tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or how,if it's even possible, can I export it as a transparent image?An example of my vector file:Thanks.

Hi all, Does Illustrator have drag-n-drop text editing like InDesign? Or is it only cut n paste?

Can anyone help me automate the cut contour creation for multiple complex designs in Adobe Illustrator? We’ll be using this process on stickers and garments, so an efficient solution would save a great deal of time. These designs are quite detailed, and I’m considering using a script, but I’m not experienced with scripting in Illustrator. Attached is an example of the design we are making and the cutlines that we want to achieve. Any guidance, a step-by-step walkthrough, or an example script would be highly appreciated. Thank you! 

My Illustrator crashed and gave me a diologue box. I didn't read it which is my fault but i selected open and can't find a recovery file for it anywhere. Please help

Hello! I would like to know if there is any selection mode that allows you to quickly select all the objects in a document that are bitmaps. I do not see this option in the selection menu. I could be useful for some projects. Thank you!!

Hello,I'm trying to create an action using the Image Trace Preset > Sketched ArtBut the Action Panel is not recording what preset to use, it's just blank - see attached screenshot I'm using Illustrator 27.8 

Hi guys. Guys, I have a problem. The Adobe Illustrator always duplicates the object I am editing and it distrubs me a lot. Every time I am moving an object, it always being duplicated automatically and it's very annoying. How to stop it? What should I do? Assistance please.
