How can I rotate only one of the items in the Objects on Path option?

I really like the vector based generative AI feature but I find it limited in the sense that it stops being useful once it could get really really good. Meaning that until now I only find the option to generate one prompt and thenre-write it completely not being able to refine and refine more. Is there a feature or a possibility to follow-up on these prompts? like "this is great now please rotate the right armon that person to point upwards", "great, now make the thumb on that hand standing out" etc.  Kind of more of like a contextual type prompting similar to ChatGPt.

Oi gente, fiz um desenho e preciso colorir ele, mas não consigo de jeito nenhum, até com a paintfinder não deu, nas camadas o desenho aparece com cor, mas pra mim ele aparece em preto e branco, alguém consegue me dar uma mão? 

I'm unable to change the colour of existing shapes in an illustrator document, new shapes work as expected. Is this a known issue with the current version, or has anyone had this issue before? The colour picker shows the correct colour and the shape is the correct colour when it's exported to After Effects, so it seems like it's related to how the shape is being rendered.

Bonjour à tous, Je souhaite installer Adobe Illustrator mas on me demande de mettre à jour mon système.Je suis sur Windows 10 v22H2, avec un processeur intel i3 10100F avec 16 Go de RAM, une carte Graphique Radeon 5500XT 8Go (les pilotes sont tous à jour)  et j'ai largement de la place sur mon disque pour l'installation. Avez-vous une idée ? Merci 

So there's this tool in Illustrator called the Puppet Warp tool which I REALLY like, but sadly it's extremely destructive.For example, I made this quick figure and manually set a few points down to make it similar to the basic skeleton a 3D Model would use.And whilst I feel like the math used to calculate the warping could do with some improvements as well,the main problem here is that once I switch tools or deselect the object all of the custom points I set will vanish and the next time I try using puppet warp, it simply tries to automatically place points again.And like mentioned at the start of this post, it's a destructive action, so unless you make a backup of the unmodified object, you can't revert back to its unwarped form.I think it's these exact points that make this tool extremely underused despite how much potential it has.Like if you could toggle the posing on/off and your custom points would actually be kept at all times, this has the potential to be a full-blown 2D riggin

How can I stop this opening each time I start up the new Illustrator?- Quite annoying!

Hallo zusammen.Ich würde gerne in Illustrator die folgende Funktion deaktivieren:Bei der Größeneingabe von Objekten findet eine Transformation durch Bewegung/ Berührung des Scrollrads der Maus statt. Klickt man in das Feld zum festlegen der Größe und kommt leicht an die Scrollfunktion (#Applemaus), erhöht oder verringert sich der eingegebene Wert sofort um eine ganze Einheit (1,0 mm, 1 px, 1,0 cm...). Ich würde die Eingabe gerne kontrolliert nur über die Eingabe von festen Werten oder die Richtungspfeile über die Tastatur begrenzt haben. Gibt es da irgendwo ein Häkchen?? Vielen Dank vorab 🙂

Color picker preview in Illustrator doesn't match the circled color in the color field, and in the document. As you can see below, the selected color in the color field matches the document. But the preview shows it as much brighter.I don't have this problem in Photoshop. Everything matches, as you can see below.These are both blank documents that I started in RGB profile. The color settings are the same.Illustrator:Photoshop:It looks like the Illustrator preview matches the color in my Windows Photos viewer, as seen below.Also, when I screenshotted it and pasted it into Photoshop, the hex code for the Photos viewer is the same code as the original! But the code for the PS/AI screenshots dimmed. I guess when I screenshot, it's being recorded in the Windows color space which is brighter so the PS/AI colors would be dimmed down. Anyhow, I don't know why the Illustrator preview is matching the Windows color. It's not like that in Photoshop. How can I fix this? Or is this an Illustrat

I need illustrator Version 2022. Because some of the fonts are not working in my new version 2025.

I mean it's been years nowWhy is it not poosible to create a layer where i am in the stack?  How many years do we have to wait to be able to create a layer right where we are in the stack versus having to scroll waaaay above somewhere to find the new layer?And once the new layer is created (and resting at the top of the stack) then how do we move the layer back into the place where we were working ?  By selecting and dragging it of course which is more time wasting as it scrolls the stack at snails pace. There is a new sublayer button, but this does nothing more than moves the new layer to the top of the existing stack versus outside of it, and is kinda a waste of development.A new sublayer button does not address this problem.  

I am quite new with Illustrator and I am trying to connect 2 path with different strokes width but without any luck. Both paths are intersecting in the right place.

Good evening. Without having changed anything, when I wanted to save a document in PDF, this note appeared: "The page size is outside the supported range" - But my document is a normal format of 300x400 mm... How is it possible that I am prevented from saving it???

Just wanted to post, as I was today-years-old to discover this. All this time I thought I had to crack open the kerning tables on these fonts I've been using over the years. Letters 'r' and 't' kissing each other, 'A' and 'V' too far apart and avoiding each other. The letter pairs list goes on.. Look what happens when you change the 'Auto' to 'Optical'..  I feel empowered. 🤗And curious question for the illustrator engineers - why not make the 'Optical' as the 'Auto'. Because evidently the Auto is Automatically off. 🤷‍♂

Hi, I use adobe illustrator for studies ends, and it is lagging, Before I thought that was because the number of study slides that I was with, but then when I restart my notebook, it started to be normal for some time when I open the application, but after a certain ammount of time it started to lag again, specifically more when I delete letters. Is there something I can do to remove this lag completely? 

Hi, I'm having an issue where my document tabs/document window are detached and I've tried everything I can think of aside from reinstalling illustrator or upgrading to Big Sur. As well, Illustrator will not minimize, if I hit cmd m on mac it will minimize the document tabs but the control panel and top bar are still visibile.  - On most recent update of Catalina, don't want to go for Big Sur yet- I've closed illustrator, restarted computer, and made sure all CC apps and CC are up to date - I've reset/switched around workspaces, nothing resets the "detached/undocked" documents. They're always undocked regardless of workspace selected - Tried Window > arrange > consolidate. Have tried windows > arrange > float then consolidating and still no luck  Using fullscreen mode returns some of the functionality I'm used to but of course I have to cycle out in order to go to my other open documents.  Hopefully someone has a solution, attached sc

Dear Everyone,I have an online student whose Illustrator window is undocked (see image below) and nothing I have suggested is helping. She doesn't see a blue outline when clicking and dragging the window up like it should. Her application frame shows up. I keep thinking it's a glitch or a preference.... I was having some problems with Illustrator yesterday. some of the panels such as swatched and appearance stoped responding. I've never had this problem before and assumed that restarting my computer would fix the issue. It didn't. Then I thought if I deleted and reinstalled the app that it might resolve the issue. unfortunaly once I unistalled the app the 2022 version disapeared from my creative cloud. My machine is too old to run the new version and It isn't giving me the option to download the newest version that works on my 2015 mac. I transfered an even older 2019 version from my even older laptop but it is 3 years older and doesn't want to open my newer files. Does anyone know how to access the Adobe Illustrator 2022?

I created artwork on an 84" x 84" artboard then selected Save As... to create a PDF using the Press settings. I then uploaded the file to my printers website. Once there the dimensions show 35" x 35". Any reason what would causde this? Thanks. 

I'm not seeing the Text to Vector Generative AI tool in Adobe Illustrator panel. I have the most up-to-date version, 29.0.1.  What am I missing?

Hello everyone, my name is Sofia and i'm an Illustrator from Portugal and i've been experiencing some strange things with my Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat!  In my illustrator artwork (file) elements from my artwork have been missing or disappearing and little things have been changed, like for instance, the last thing i've noticed was the texture i've done myself on a tree, round half circles, once again, done handly by me without creating any texture per say and when i opened the file to continue working they (this time) weren't actually missing but the color was blue instead of dark green, what i mean is, they went back to the color they were before i started painting them. My Acrobat is showing in one particular work way too much vivid colors, colors that are way too much vivid then in my actual Illustrator artwork, did i saved it wrong on the Pdf i've generated? I don't know and last but not least, when i take screenshots in my new Macbook Pro Max M3 computer the colors w
