This is rectangle on which it is applied dash option [at images below].Question why at edges we do not have here full width/stroke of line [first image below]?When I select projecting cap it goes with full width but also little more above [second image below]? I noticed this through scripting  but anyone can answer this questoion.app.selection[0].strokeDashes = [12, 5]

When I do artwork on my computer and send the files to get printed by my print company, the prints are always a different color than it looks like the file im sending them. Slightly lighter/brighter.  When I print these colors myself at home they come out slightly darker from what I'm seeing on my screen. What is the best way to get the most accurate color of my artwork on my computer screen to come out the same in print? 

There is a text frame in a document. This issue has been plaguing me for a while now. It's occured across all versions of illustrator from roughly 2021 to 2024 and across different MacBook pro's, both M2 and M3. I have reached out to Adobe's technical team who could not offer me any assistance without a screen recording or remote access which I can't do on a company machine.The issue itself is pretty self explanatory: I have a simple object selected with any linear/radial gradient applied, I push G to bring up the gradient slider tool and it immediately sets my transparency to 0. The transparency shows up as being unedited on the transparency window, ie: it still reads as 100% or 50% or whatever it was, the but object itself is completely transparent. If I then try to manually change the transparency back to 100% nothing happens and illustrator seems to hang for a few seconds. I ususally have to undo 5 or 6 times to get back to a state where my object is back to it's previous tranparency setting. I believed it may ha

Estou com um problema, não consigo usar a função beta de Mockup (Objeto>Modelo(beta)>Criar), ao invés de aparecer "criar" aparecem outras opções "não clicáveis". Já tentei usar a versão beta do Illustrator mas seus recursos são muitos limitados. O que poderia estar acontecendo?

I have an image imported to Illustrator. Some of JPG files. Now I want to add to my image desaturation 100%.Scale of gray, you know what I mean.But I didn't see an option to edit that image.When I click this: http://prntscr.com/5kpc43 what means "Edit original", my image opens in... Microsoft Paint!There must be any option to do that in Illustrator. I can't do this in Photoshop because I would have to do all things from the beginning (scale, rotation, position etc).Please, help

Hello Adobe,I purchased my iPad specifically to use Adobe Illustrator, but I was shocked to discover that the iPad version does not support the Arabic language. This has completely halted my work, and I now realize that I spent a significant amount of money without being able to do anything with it.Support for RTL languages (such as Arabic, Persian, Urdu) is crucial for many creators. This issue has been raised for years, yet we still haven’t received any update or solution from your side.Could you please let us know if this support will be available soon? Are there any keyboard shortcuts (in Illustrator) to change the transparency of an object? (as there are in Photoshop){Renamed by MOD}

Hi! I have to create 2000 postcards. Design is the same for all postcards, exept one small picture that on every postcard should be different (so each postcard becomes unique). It is like numbering each postcard, but with picture. Is there a way how to optimise adding those pictures to the postcard design? Not one by one all 2000 times, but using some shortcut automated technique? thanx, looking forward to suggestions 

Hello everyone, I'm working on my usual Illustrator layers and all of the sudden I can't select my guides? I was cutting them, moving them around, all good... guides are not blocked, they're not in a blocked layer, I can see them on my layers panel, I can add more, but I can't select them or move them anymore.

Hi team,I'm in the sports sublimation printing business and use Illustrator.  I need to print 170 vector designs onto sports shirts. I've prepared 1 file to be copied 20 times, and 2 others to be copied 5 times, adding up to approximately 98 meters of printing. The printing service I'm using is asking me to combine all these designs into a single file. I'm not sure how to create such a long file and I'm worried about losing print quality. Can anyone provide some guidance?

I created a logo in illustrator with text underneath a simple design anyway when I export to SVG format it splits the single word up into 6-3-8 by adding extra gaps between letters it looks dreadful and I can't find a solution anywhere

Just got a Macbook Pro M3 Max, with 48g ram. As other comments, Illustrator super slow/laggy, almost impossible to work. I have installed the latest version 28.7.1 and the 2023 27.0, they all have the same problem. I dont have any apps like Magnet installed. I have a second Dell 27in Premiercolor 2K monitor, the Typeface app, Whatsapp and Chrome. Please, what can I do??? I need to work...

I'm trying to recreate a design for a client which features a merged or blended blur like the image attached, does anyone know what would be the best way of doing this? Would it be easier using Photoshop? Any help would be appreciated, thank you! 

I've discovered a possible bug causing SVG exports containing Symbols to appear improperly on export.  https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/export-svg-changing-some-objects-black/m-p/12873021#M318050 I've closely followed the details in the link above, as the situation described by Liz_P8 is nearly identical to mine. I've followed Anshul_Saini's advice but the results are unchanged, regardless of the settings chosen in the export menu. The only solution I've found so far is expanding the appearance of the object and breaking the link to the symbol. I've also attempted to roll-back to an earlier version of Illustrator, v27.9.6 LTS, but the issue remains. Please advise, thank you!  

hello,I'm new to programming and I'm trying to create a .jsx to make an action where a folder is created and some specific colour swatches are grouped in that folder.So far I have only been able to create the folder, but I don't know how to make the colour swatches to be selected and put inside this folder.Could someone help me? thanks

Hi, can anyone help with a script which can display these opened windows in illustrator in a panel with each document as a button.It will help in doing back and forth with ease by clicking those buttons. My working involves opening of lot of files and navigating them get difficult when I have lot of files opened.  

I'm doing an assigment for a class and i was wondering if i could make certain segments of strokes a different color than the rest of stroke.I want to Trace that arm but i want a black stroke except for the part that it connects to the main body which is why im wonderingg if i could change the color so it could match up with the main body and seem like it's not there.

I have had this a couple of times and I see it now as potentially very upsetting in the future when I come to work on documents I have created in the past. Trying to access some documents saved to the cloud, but when I try to open I get this:  I MUST have access because I created it myself. I am the only person who uses this account and am definitely the owner. I am scared now that everything I've ever done and saved to the cloud will be lost to me. Can someone tell me how to fix this "break" in the path to my documents? Many thanks!

The easiest solution to my problem would just be being able to round the corners of an art board, but because that is not possible I am a bit stuck. I am trying to simply remove the 4 white corners from my art that has a rounded rectangle outline. I can save it as a PNG just fine and the art is a perfect rounded rectangle, but I want the file in PDF format, and when it is saved as a PDF the white corners of the artboard are still visible. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions for how to save this as a PDF, while having the artboard corners transparent?

I am trying to export my artboards as PNG's so I can put them in a video editing program to play music behind it. But the problem I'm facing is just exporting said artboards. A few of them are fine- but most of them are not showing the actual designs, just exported as "blank"-I have white,black, or color- backgrounds Or it has half the design but not the full design. I've tried "Export As...", "Export for screens (this one I can actually see preview's and everything looks fine in the preview but still the same issue), my app is up to date, I've made sure all the overprint buttons I can find in settings and attributes is checked off. in the overprint preview It looks similar to the mix up pngs I do get but again... I've changed all of those settings. I've tried on Mac and Windows. Anyhelp? -please don't give me a tutorial of exporting- I've attached a couple of files. The only way I was able to get something to work was saving it as an svg but I can't use the svg for the purpose I
