After a previous update I was able to align strokes (not part of a closed path) outside, cente, and inside. I just updated today (9.6-24) to version 28.71....and can no longer do this. Anyone know of a way to turn that capability back on. I found it VERY useful! Thanks

Is there a way to change the default color of Object > Path > Offset PathIt always ends up the same color as the original object and so it all blends together which is really frustrating.  Thanks in advance

What would be the best way to go about creating something like the attached images in Illustrator.? 

Hi. My computer suddenly closed and when I open Acrobat Illustrator again the file appears corrupted.I didn't know there were temporary copies and I can't get the temporary copy back. In the preview of all the files in Illustrator you can see what was in the damaged file but when you try to open it I can't recover practically anything. It´s the last one named Coleccion I recovered a file from four days before, but it´s very imcompleted. is there any way to recover it?Thanks

Buenos Dias Estimados, He tenido problema con el programa general de adobe tanto en photoshop como illustrator. lo que pasa despues de estar el diseño en vez de imprimir blanco (en los lugares que tiene blanco) me imprime como color crema. y en el photoshop o illustrador veo que es blanco . lo hemos intentado de imprimir desde otro lado y sale bien . sale blanco como debe ser. la impresora la impresora es LaserJet Pro M454dw con una IMAC M3 , he actualizado, reiniciado, desintalado e intalado . y me sigue saliendo de color crema.

Bom dia. Instalei o illustrator 2019, porém estou tendo alguns problemas.1º) Não consigo abrir nenhum arquivo com um duplo clique ou clicando com o botão direito escolhendo a opção: "abrir com". Só é possível abrir um arquivo acessando a tela de inicio do illlustrator clicando na opção "abrir"2º) A opção smart object no photoshop não funciona. Ao dar duplo clique ele até chega a abrir o programa illustrator, porém não abre nenhum objeto.Já reinstalei o programa e o problema continua.

BonjourDepuis un changement d'ordinateur, je rencontre un probleme au niveau des logiciels adobe et lors de l'affichage des pdf.En effet, sur illustrator, les couleurs que je souhaites semble s'afficher correctement, mais dés que j'ouvre le meme pdf avec acrobat reader (ou même l'aperçu windows), les couleurs ne correspondent pas. J'ai tout essayé au niveau profil de couleur, etc, je suis perdu, qqn peut-il m'aider ?

HolaNo hace mucho mintras estaba trabajando en el programa este se cierra minutos después de abrir mi archivo, a veces durante unos segundos se abre el archivo y luego se congela, después se cierra por completo.  Y esto ha estado pasando continuamente desde ayer por la mañana. Estoy haciendo un trabajo importante y que me pase esto me impide terminarlo, si alguien sabe de una posible solución estaría encantada de que me ayude. PD: Ya intenté restablecer las preferencias, desistalar el programa pero no me ha funcionado

Hi, I am having a problem on adobe illustrator, I would like to paint with an artistic brush, and i would like to paint with the brush at a lower opacity. however currently i can only change the opacity after i make the stroke. using the properties panel to change the opacity does not do anything, I will slide the opacity slider down and try to draw with the brush, and it will be 100% opacity no matter what and resets the slide to 100%

Hi Illustrator folks, Suppose you had a whole bunch of .eps files scattered in many folders. Using Bridge (with Show Items from Subfolders) I can select them all, even though they are in multiple sub-folders. I wish to cycle them through Illustrator; and Save-As to a current .AI file ... saved back into the correct sub-folder. How would you automate that? An action? How would it know the correct subfolder? (BTW, in Bridge, you can automate batching pixel-based files to whatever you want like .PSD. But that won't work for vector graphics.)

현재 32GB의 노트북을 사용하고 있는데,일러스트레이터로 3D를 사용하면 계속해서 RAM(메모리)가 부족하다고 나옵니다. 재가동,디스크이동,삭제후 다시 깔기,플러그인 스크치 디스크 이동 등 모든 것들을 다 하였는데도 계속해서 RAM이 부족하다고 나옵니다.

Hey team, im terrible with illustrator but im trying to learn. Every time ive tried to save files in any other format than PDF, they always come out low resolution. This has been sufficient untill now but i want to do things the proper way and i cant work out what im doing wrong. Yes ive tried playing with all the settings to no avail.

It always stuks when I use the reflected tool ，I don't know why and I want to know the reason ，

Almost every option from every drop-down menu is grayed out and is unclickable. I've already tried updating, uninstalling, and re-installing the app. I've also attempted to press ctrl+alt+shift to reset my preferences but nothing happens as it doesn't respond. 

Is there a way to do this?

Hola a todos, saben si es posible generar ilustraciones que partan de mi logo, tengo un manual de marca que me lo entregaron ya hace unos años atras y las ilustraciones que me presentaron no me convencen si bien el logo que es lo mas importante si me gustó, veo que las ilustraciones no van de la mano. Es posible que alguna herramienta de la IA en Adobe me ayude a generar ilustraciones partiendo del logo actual?

When I make a rectangle and then select the Direct Selection Tool, the handles disappear. Why?

If I can remember correctly, there is a tool/combination of tools in Ai. If it is active and if you move one corner of a image, oppositive corner of will also move equally in opposite direction. I tried with Perspective Selection tool but it did not work. Is there any tool like that?     

In the last three updates for Premiere, 24.6.1 (Build 2) and the 2 updates I made prior, the effects panel window no longer has a scroll bar.  This means whenever I expand folders, if I have too many effect preset folders open or even collapsed above the one I'm opening, I can't scroll down to navigate through all of the effects.  This usually has me needing to search for the specific transition or effect I need, or having to collapse the other folders so I can access the desired effect.I was hoping this would have been fixed within the last few updates, but since it hasn't, I want to address the issue and hope this bug can be fixed. See attached screenshot where there's no scroll bar in the effects panel.  This occurs no matter where I place the effects panel.  Again, there are work arounds, but it slow down the editing workflow. Apple M2 Max 2023 96GB, Sonoma 14.5Premiere, 24.6.1 (Build 2) Thank you!

These red wavy underlines appear in exported raster images, but they obviously shouldn't. Is it always like this? I can't remember...🧐
