Hi, whenever I use the 3d it's incredibly slow.  Takes like 10 minutes to render in low quality raytrace. Or if I try moving the lights around, or shadow in preview mode. I have: amd ryzen 9, 64gb ddr5, Nvidia 4090. Why is it so slow? I am a 3d modeler and use cinema 4d. I can render extremely fast. An entire scene with over 10k polys, raytracimg, caustics, subsurface you name it. I can even model in real render time. Yet, illustrator I make a sphere and it just lags. Please help

what is going on with this update, after adding in custom brushes this thing just keeps crashing today was the worst. I lost 4 hours worth of work, yes I backed it up, yes the recovery file opened and guess what. IT CRASHED, then bam everything was lost, like bro what is going on. I do everything right back everything up I was even saving the file as I went but guess what "sorry file can not save" crash. I have a macbook pro M1 MAX 32gb of ram 2tb ssd, trust me when I'm wokring on these files it no issue at all, saving however omg. FIX THIS APP BRO    Note: Renamed by Mod

Hi Adobe community, I’m designing banners for 3 different interfaces (Website, Tablet, Mobile) in 10 languages, with 9 images per language, resulting in over 1000 designs. While I use Figma for auto-layout, variables, and swatches, I want to switch to Illustrator for vector clarity. How can I efficiently handle artboards, reuse symbols, set up global swatches, automate tasks, and apply data merge to manage these multilingual and multi-interface designs? Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your help!

 Can some one help me fix this! My file is in EPS format, I need to covert it to Ai without loosing the layer wise editing capabilities, so that i can import to AfterEffects to edit the files for my work.  Error thats showing.  Example for Aftereffects layers  that i need which worked perfectly fine.  the layers that I'm trying to convert from eps to ai.

Illustrator just created the Invite to Edit feature for cloud documents. However, the collaborators can't edit the same document at the same time. I'd love if they could!  Sort of like Miro board.

I am wanting to download a new Illustrator plugin, but every time I try to open the plugins page in the marketplace in Creative Cloud it just gives me a "Something went wrong. Restart Creative Cloud desktop app to see plugins." error. I have restarted multiple times and it still won't load. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hello! I don't understand what is happening with a shape bulder tool.  There is a gap in outlines after using shapebuilder. So I can't divide precisely even a circle. I don't remember such problems in previous old versions of Illustrator. Pls, help me I tried different settings of the shape builder and also a problem repeates with pathfinder. 

I took some extra time to save commonly used icons so I can drag and drop them when making labels for my job. Some of these saved artworks are just text boxes with web addresses or instruction info that I use on every label. When I try to embed these artworks I get a popup that says "The document contains PDF objects that have been reinterpreted. To preserve appearance, some text has been outlined." and then the text is extra thick compared to everything else. Is there a way to stop this? I embed everything because I had issues with losing image quality on linked images. Is there an alternative?

Hi everyone! I'm working on a project in Illustrator and need some help. I'm creating a detailed vector design, but the file gets slow as it gets bigger. I've already made some layers and paths simpler, but it's still lagging. Does anyone have tips to make Illustrator run faster or manage big files better? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks

When I select A3 size from Print template and create a document in RGB mode, stroke color is not pure black #000000 but its default value is #231F20 default black. What is that I'm not understanding? when I manually put #000000 value the color picker widget dont go to all the to down right. As shown in image

Hey Creatives!Got a quick question, Im wondering if anyone can walk me through how id set up an action to select and artboard change the width to 82 and the height to 51. I would then futher need one for 98x51 but I bet once we figure out the first one the following should just be inputting different numbers in its place. I work at a printing/packaging place & we are starting to dive into the world of VDPS. (This would help the process greatly)

I found this logo on freepik just for practice I want to know how this logo was made. How multiple gradients was used on a path. 1: The left path of "A" (/) used radial gradient2: The path on bottom of A (_) used linear gradient What I think that these are two different layers Do anyone have suggestion or workaround with single layer. How to add multiple gradient on single path or object?  

Hi,I am trying to scale or change the length of a gradient fill. I managed to rotate it using the trick with .rotate without changing the shape, but I can't get the equivalent working with changing the length of the gradient - it just doesn't do anything!I am on Illustrator 18 using JavaScript.pathItem.fillColor.length doesn't work, and neither does .resize!

I have a problem when placing a PNG file, it appears as if it is distorted, it is a 3000px png image,The image is 64bits and it measures 3000px x 3000px.

Hello, I need a script that creates a rectangle with the total area size of the objects I select and makes size adjustments.It needs to include these;1- It should create a rectangle with the total size of the objects I selected.2- Fill none. The stroke must be a spot color named "MONTAJ" in red.3- Measurement should be added. Width:+120mm Height:+280mm4-Measure fractions with numerators added must be converted to whole numbers. (valid for width and height separately).Example:Between 1750-1799mm, 1800 should do it.Between 1701-1749mm, 1700 should do it.(There should be a minimum difference of +60mm between the old measurement and the new measurement. If it is less than +60mm, it should be adjusted to the upper integer. 5- If the total number width or height is less than 400mm, it should be fixed to 400mm.Finally, the measurement should be written as text. (This is not very important.) I know it's hard but I need it. Thank you.

Adobe recently announced the release of Illustrator Beta for Windows ARM devices with Qualcomm SD X-Elite processors. However, it seems this release is far more limited than the announcement suggests. After investigating, I've discovered what appears to be a regional restriction on these betas, though this isn't mentioned anywhere in the official communication. When checking the "Do Adobe apps work on Microsoft Copilot+ PCs?" page, setting my region to the United States shows Illustrator and InDesign as available in beta. However, changing the region to Germany, Switzerland, France, or Italy removes this information, replacing it with a vague "available from the end of July 2024." Hi,Having issues with 2021 version of illustrator which im getting very sick of dealing with - when trying to resize an object it keeps wanting to rotate, even when i am definitely on the middle node which shows a straight arrow. Only way is to zoom right in which is extrememly annoying and very time consuming. Does anyone have an answer which doesn't involve needing to be an IT specialist?

I know Adobe is not interetested in Ubuntu.But why?I am a long time windows user and really wants to move to Ubuntu for it's performance.But without Adobe Illustrator I can't live a single day.Why Adobe is simply not relasing their software on Ubuntu?Edit:(Adobe employee, please provide a clear answer why this is happening and when will it end)(Sorry for using "shady" word as they are the main pillars of community)
