I need urgent help. I am currently using Illustrator 2021 and I cannot find the blur effect in the Effect tab. The Photoshop Effects group has also disappeared.

I tried assigned Keyboard Shortcuts to Expand & Expand Appearance. I have already assigned Ctrl+F1 to Expand. When I tried to assign Ctrl+F2 to Expand Appearance I got a warning sing. How to fix this?     

I use Illustrator files to send vector cutting paths to my Epilog laser machine. This problem is happening even if I try to send the file to a regular printer as well. I go to file-print and click print and I get an error dialogue box that says "The pages selected to print are all blank." This is a new issue. We had somebody create a custom app for us that takes PSDs that are black and white and create path oultines that get exported via export paths to illustrator. Then we open those paths and file-print and they always work. They still work on an old version of illustrator runing on windows xp ( I think, mabe vista). I just recently bought a new PC to update our system and am running the newest version of illustrator CC. The file works on the old windows/illustrator but not the new. Same exact file. Does anybody know how to solve this? Ive already tried resetting my illustrator preferences, made sure my layers have the "print" box checked, ive uninstalled and reinstalled illustr

Hi guys,  As the title suggests, I am currently trying to change the colour on the Trajan Color font. I am doing this, as I see it as a shortcut to create the depth to the text.  I have been watching a guide on youtube, which shows how to add colour to SVG text, which has worked up to the stage where I am trying to create a white and black balance on the colour balance window. What combination on the red, green, and blue mixer should I use to get me what I want?  Any help will be greatly appreciated! Cheers,NB

Hello Team,We are currently using Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud, and while saving images as SVG, we typically select the SVG 1.0 profile. Recently, we started receiving the following warning message:“The chosen profile is deprecated and will get removed in the future.”We would like to request clarification on this:When will SVG 1.0 support be permanently removed from Illustrator?Is there an official end-of-support date?This information is important for us, as we are planning to update our codebase accordingly.Looking forward to your response.

Hello, I recently bought a new laptop and I wanted to download Illustrator, but I get the message that it doesn't work on my device, I updated everything and it still doesn't work. I have a Lenovo Legion Slim 5-14 Ryzen 7- 7840HS\32GB\1TB\Win11 RTX4060 OLED laptop.Thank you in advance for your help. 

My Illustrator has been updated to version 29.8.1, and the text in text boxes (using Chinese fonts) is experiencing issues like missing characters and overlapping. This problem did not occur in version 29.7.1.

Hello, A simple question ... how set up Illustrator (or even Photoshop) to create graphics in HLG color space (Rec2100) which can be imported in After Effects or Premire that suits HLG color space images ?Even when i use color profile and set up in Rec2100 HLG, it seems to be converted ... For example, in my screenshot, the Rec2100 HLG footage is converted in rec709 in Photoshop (left image) and the color are not displayed as the HLG footage (right image)...Thank you !

   

I recently got a new computer with windows 11 and all of the tech requirements are above minimums for illustrator. I installed the latest version 29.8.1 and tried opening a new document but it just locked up. I also tried opening existing illustrator files and again the app just goes completely unresponsive and I have to force end the program. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it along with computer restarts but that did not help. I also tried a few things from the community board here: renamed UXP file to UXP.old; used the legacy version of the new file dialogue box, installed older versions(29.6 aqnd 29.0) nothing worked.I really need to get on there for design work today!! 

 i've never had this issue before so i'm super confused, it was working fine up until last night? i create a png by removing the background of my image and i'll usually export it as a png w transparency ticked and open in illustrator or just drag straight from photoshop into illustrator and go as usual but now i'm getting this? it's got a white background? this is how it looks in photoshop after i've removed the background: and this is what i get when i drag, copy & paste or place into illustrator:

I am experiencing huge lag, very slow responce of Adobe Illustrator lately.I mean it even reaches 3+ seconds between each click, along with interface glitches and some weird errors. When I say weird errors one example is typing "290" in the Y field from the Transform window and after pressing Enter the number is 260. I tried every solution I found on the internet: resetting preferences, disabling animated zoom, file handling settings, scratch disks, page file settings, uninstall and clean install, etc.Nothing works... I'm very late on my assignments. The only solution I found was to return to version 2.9.3This one lacks AI and it is possible that other versions before 28.4 will perform well, but I can't afford to waste more time testing. For the moment this is the solution to continue and speed up my work. I have Windows 11 Pro with:- AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 3700Mhz- 48GB RAM- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 256-bit- SSD M.2 for OS and SSD SATA-III for projects

Recently, Illustrator keeps changing the shape fill and outline to white and black every single time I go to change the color, specifically the second I open the swatches panel. I just undo it and then choose the color I'd like, but it is starting to get realllllyyyyy annoying. I was hoping the most recent update would correct this bug, but it hasn't--the issue still persists...and annoys me. Why does it seem the most recent updates are full of bugs? Please fix.

Wenn ich einer Fläche eine andere Farbe zuweisen will erhalte ich zuerst immer eine weiße Fläche mit schwarzer Kontur, auch wenn die Fläche gar keine Kontur hatte. Sind das neue Voreinstellungen in Illustrator? Mit älteren Version hatte ich das Problem nicht.

A built in time tracker per project would be amazing; even one where we can leave comments.Currently I am using a time tracker on click-up or the focus section in the Windows clock and then entering the minutes into a spreadsheet. But there are times when I get too busy and forget to track the time. 

Hi Everyone, In the last several days, Illustrator has crashed several times a day. Sometimes it crashes without me even using it actively. Sometimes after the crash I get a notification that there is an issues with GPU performance. My laptop has two GPUs but I am not sure how to properly utilize that. Hey all, Since Adobe doing their latest updates on Adobe Illustrator i've not been able to use the shortcut keysto resize or rotate pattern fills...  I use PC...the default shortcut keys I use are the Acute ( ` ) Key (Not the Tilde Key) along with the shift key to maintain proportions.  (for some reason the Tilde key does not work)..Does anyone else have this issue? And does anyone have a fix for it?  As i have tried most things and still doesnt work...so i have to go back to using version 27.9 in order to use the shortcuts for resizing pattern fills.Any help would be greatly appricated..Thanks

Hi,Relatively new to Illustrator so was wondering if anyone could help me with a queryIm basically trying to create a circle with a grid inside like the images below.(P.S. I used the gradient mesh to create this effect)I basically just need to know if there is a way I can give the lines in the circle a fill so that it gives the effect of a circle with solid gridding inside it.Thanks

Previously when I used the the transform again command every transform action was repeated (move, scale, rotate, with/without copy). Now only the move command works. How can I fix this? 

After the latest update to CC 2019, when I open an ai file, it launches Photoshop each time instead of Illustrator. Why?

I don't even know how to describe this, but I'll attempt to. Please look at the video included.I make a blend between two objects. I isolate and edit the blend object directly. I move one of the objects to where I want it to be. The object snaps to a random point beyond where it should go. If I hit CTRL+Z, it will go to the new placement that I originally wanted. CTRL+Z is now reset, so any edits made before this point cannot be undone.
