Since last friday we only have the pin and draw shape options. Lost the text highlight / correction options.

I can't get my artwork to align to the centre of an artboard, it keeps happening with different artwork. I have some shapes all selected on the same layer, align to artboard selected, not align to selection. It throws the artwork off the canvas. It feels like a position where the canvas may have been previously. It feels like a bug but maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Is there a way to make the artboard name & number label visible while not on the artboard tool?

As the tilte says, Illustrator Iags quite badly after the last update (30.0). I have a pc with Windows 11, an Nvidia 3080 GPU and 64Gb of RAM, so it shouldn't be a problem of specs to low for what I'm doing.I tried to upgrade my GPU driver, to close and reopen Illustrator, to restart my pc, to update windows, bat none of this helped. The only thing it seems to reduce the lag is to change the rendering settings from GPU to CPU (with CTRL+E). It is quite strange since my GPU works perfectly in any other workload, and looking at the task manger it doesn't even seem to throttle (it stays at around 20-25% usage at a temperature of 44°C) and the ram usage is at around 12-20Gb .I need a fix for this, since it's quite a pain to draw with Illustrator with this kind of lag... 

Can anyone shed some light on why I am unable to input a HEX code and it register? I have always worked this way and never had an issue before but no matter how I input the code, it does not work. I can't colour drop the right colour either. I am only able to manually select a colour from the palette.  

I love using Adobe products but when I draw with vectors on fresco there are extra lines and anchor points translated into illustrator for some reason maybe because I was erasing parts. Could there be some sort of clean-up system put in place when you are transferring between fresco and illustrator because this has been an issue for a lot of my work lately. After meticulously creating the work I then need to spend time 'cleaning up' and its quite tiresome. Does anyone have a solution to this that is more efficient?

This was a problem in the 2025 version and it carried over to the 2026 version of Illustrator: Clicking the arrow to open the bullet points panel (the one with the circle), or switching into it from the number bullets, crashes the app. There's no way around it, you can't even open the bullet points from the top menu bars. So you can't change or edit bullet points, it's insane. Just to clarify, this does not happen with the number bullet points. I can do everything, but then the app crashes immediately if I try to tap the round bullet points tab/panel/option. It's making Illustrator unusable for my current purposes. Please fix this, it's been a while since it was reported on Illustrator 2025.

Character style options in Illustrator make slow performance when I open it

Could you please help me to creating a new project?

I could generate vectors easily but now for some reason this box is grayed out. Just want to be able to trace black and white.

The company I work for has a curriculum that was created in Illustrator. Now that Illustrator is being discontinued we need to export and convert this curriculum to a new program. It is a fairly large project as we have around 10,000 pages created. What would be the best program to convert this curriculum to? Obviously we would want the conversion as automated as possible with the least amount of work from our end. Any suggestions? 

My mind may be playing tricks on me. While working in Illustrator today I had a dialog box open asking if I wanted to create a Font library. I even assigned a name to the folder. However, when I went back to see where it is located I could not find it.  Is there a way to create seperate folders for the font? Thanks

Anyone else having issues of exporting .ai files where the document is just text corrupt? also, .eps exports showing up as half the image?

When I click and drag (and hold down the mouse ) to create a polygon. It appears as though it's creating a circle. I have tried pushing the arrow key down, while holding the mouse simulataneously but it seems to be increasing my shape in tiny increments ( probably 1 pixel at a time )  What did I do? How do I make it go back to behaving like the polygon tool is supposed to. I know it's not actually a circle, rather a polygon with so many sides it appears as though it's a circle. I don't know how to reset the tool.

ALL my ram is being used by illustrator to open just 1 document. How come adobe can't actually make good software anymore? This is an issue across my workplace with illustrator specifically on both Intel and M2 macbooks. What's going on why does it need to use so much RAM, it's slow and not usable in this state at all. It's also frustratingly impossible to contact the greedy corporation that is Adobe for assistance.

As with many other things we have to deal with here lately, it is beyond-the-pale ridiculous that I have to link each linked graphic separately again. If I have a file with 40 links, that means I have to deal with the relink dialogue box 40 [cursing removed] TIMES. Crazy.

I have problem which i did not had at previous versions of Adobe illustrator, When i Work With Georgian font Meta and make it Caps its turning to boxes like at photo, how can i Fix it?

Working on a MAC BOOK PRO.I had several files open in Illustrator. One of them used an Adobre font, which was a first time using such for the new version. I saved and closed this file. But later this happened to my other file with 4 artboards almost ready for export. They became white. First a Google font Poppins I use every day did not want to change color and then it changed the text box background instead of the text. I lost my patience and ourlined it to manipulate as I want. Then this error dialogue popped uop and all was lost. Nothing I did saved my file successfully. Then I force quit hoping there will be a recovery file. No. Nothing. An hour of work lost. Considering reerting to the old version.

Hellow, for the past months I've been having problems starting illustrator on my M2 Pro Mac Pro. I've tried to reboot illustrator, restart my computer but it helps for the first time but if I close illustrator and try to reopen it freezes. Takes too much time to initialize. 

I can't be the only one that runs into this, right?? You unplug your laptop from external displays, and in illustrator, photoshop....all Adobe apps, the windows and tools are all over the place and mostly off the screen. I've been running into this for a few years now (my use is occassional). Is there a magical fix to this??!?!?!

What is up with this? Its being going on across mulitple Macs and versions of Illustrator but just about EVERY time I go to copy a hex color code from the Color window nothing goes to the Mac clipboard and paste is just nothing. A second attempt at exact same process will usually be successful. However, pretty sure that on more than one occassion its taken 3 attempts. REALLY don't like having to repeat myself.
