Like it says above. I went to sign into illustrator and Indesign today and my account has decided that I'm on a free trial instead of the CCPro I paid for. Today was the day that Adobe took my monthly payment so I know I'm not behind in paying and that my cc worked. But now I can't save in illustrator or even open indesign.

How can I add a hyperlink in illustrator cc and export a pdf with that link? I have a CTA button that I would like to add a hyperlink to and then save as a pdf with the working hyperlink. Thanks!

Hey All,  I've previously asked this with objects and it works, but I have since realized that layers & sublayers are the better way for me to do this as I need to create clipping masks using the selections. I'm using Illustrator CS6 and a mac.I need to figure out how to load and select a specific column from the CSV to set visibility of and select specific sublayers. CSV File: printfile.csvFor artboard Front:-Show only the sublayers found in the csv column “frontVisible” , each of the sublayers are listed in a cell  separated by a comma ,-Once visibility is set, I need to select 1st & 2nd array items. I will run a resize script below from Jduncan and then I would like to select all of the visible layers in the artboard so I can create a clipping mask. I've tried a few different ways to load the data from the csv and I am doing something wrong because it does not work. here is one that I have tried. function select () { var doc = app.activeDocument; var

I do technical drawings and I cut and paste simple objects dozens of times a day like I have for 25 years. Suddenly for no reason my pasted element pastes with a different stroke weight (.25 to .5) and my corners go from straight to rounded. Settings are all the same, and I restarted Illustrator and my computer. Any ideas? Thank you,

I'm trying to open an existing file in Illustrator, but I'm getting an error message every time.I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app to no avail. I've opened the file on another machine/user, so I know there is nothing wrong with the file. I can also create a new file, save the file and reopen the file.HELP!! 

I’m having issues with my Illustrator file. I have the desired line weight appearance in my Adobe workspace, but when I export it as a PNG, it becomes very dark. I’ve tried both RGB and CMYK workspaces, as well as assigning an sRGB profile, but I’m still getting the same result in the PNG export. I’ve attached an image of the desired look and the look I’m currently getting. Any help would be appreciated

hello window 11 here I have been using my university's email and I've got "We can't verify your subscription status" error on Illustrator,Photoshop every app . I tried everything on youtube. I deleting and reinstalling all files but it didnt work. Is this has something to do with my Adobe creative cloud has "File syncing disabled. Contact your IT administrator for details" ? pls help!

Why is it exporting with a white background and why is there no way to change that?! 

A few days ago, my illustrator program started having a problem when rotating or scaling a pattern fil from my swatches.It does not matter if I use a screen grab and put it into swatches or a vector pattern, It makes no difference.The shape changes, the fill stays in one place.With and without all the boxes checked?I have uninstalled and removed all presets, even went so far as to reinstall my illustrator.I have tripple checked the obvious "scale and rotate object blocks" I've been using Illustrator for as long as it's been around, never seen this. It works on our other machines.I have no idea how to fix. Please help.

HelloI just istalled a new version illustrator. The eps icons showing "ai" icon.Strange before instelling the new version of illustrator the eps have its own icon ( with the moving vecors on icon ) - how can I get this back ???

Would work and eventually become unresponsive again Would love to hear any other suggestions, or troubleshooting steps i can try. Or an explanation for the cause. 

In my project I have several layers with sublayers for organization. I'm trying to copy objects between artboards while maintaing the object layers, so I have turned on "Paste Remember Layers." However, this only pastes the object to the highest most layer, not to the layer the object I copied is actually on. I've attached an image showing it. I have selected the rectangle on the left which is from the "Building Proposals" > "Silhouette" layer and copy pasted it with "Paste Remember Layers" checked. However, it pasted to the parent layer "Building Proposals," not to the sublayer, which is where I want it. Any help is great. 

Hello,I need help with the following problem.When I open a Print template and start working in it every size that I manually set in the transform dialog box stays set only while that object is selected, afterwards it changes to a random value near to what I've entered.For example: I draw a rectangle, I set W=75mm and H=55mm and then, after I deselect it and reselect it, the W is still 75mm, but the H is 55,002mm.That's an example for the height, but sometimes the width changes too, or event both at the same time.Is there a setting I have to change or what is happening?Thank you!

Hi, I'm trying to recolor some artwork in illustrator. I'm using the same method I used yesterday and haven't changed any settings. It looks like it is doing it but the colors don't change. I'm using the direct selection tool, then select-same-fill and stroke. Then re-colour artwork, double click on the rectangle to bring the colors up, I pick a color, click OK, then OK on the recolor artwork box, it all looks normal but the colors don't change. Please help.

Is there a way to set the scaled percentages of linked images in Illustrator to a different specific percentage of scale, like you can in InDesign. For example I have a file with links (of various dimensions) that are placed at 65.635% and I would like to select them and set their percentage scaled to 50%, or even just reset its scale to 100%.The links palette shows the percentage that the link is placed. But the Transform>Scale and Transform Each tools only rescale the item BY the percentage you enter, not TO a specific percentage.I would prefer to not have to re-place all the links and resize them to 50%, or do the math to find the percentage to reduce them more so that the final percentage is 50%.

I am noticing the hover tooltip on the Illustrator toolbar will randomly pop up on different tools. Sometimes when opening a new file and sometimes it just happens while working. I don't notice a pattern unfortunately but it is a little annoying when working. Version 29.6.1 Thank you kindly!Brad

I recently upgraded my desktop to windows 11, everything remains the same.No new software installation, nothing. Illustrator used to work like a charm in windows 10, but after the upgrade, I am seeing it going to very low loading and low performance after the load is completed. I am using.48GB RAMi9 processor2070 Super Graphics1TB SSD Nvme I have taken best possible steps as I can but still no success. Even tried to open illustrator in safe mode.I have also tried to disable all the unnecessory windows startups and even removed irrelevant tools. No success here too. Help needed!

I copied 3 artboards and pasted them just below the orginal artboards, as I was only changing the pieces slightly.  Now I realize I completely did it the wrong way, but the bigger problem is now this document is the only one that Illustrator will print!  I can open up a completley unrelated file and it stil print these 6 pages, although one of them is blank.  I uninstalled Illustrator and reinstalled it and it still does the same thing.  Can anyone help?

If possible are you able to make it that the illustrator app can finally be put in full screen mode on mac because right now it cant and it is very annoying

Hi All, Looking to convert a 48sheet billboard artwork to a tricolour setting through illustrator to save on ink! The quality is too good at the minute with our printer and taking some time. Wondering if anyone has any experience with lowering the quality like the image attached! We're currently being supplied artwork at 10% scale so when using the Pixelate > Half tone setting it doesn't seem quite right! Hoping you guys can help. Thank you in advance
