Soudainement impossible de me connecter à mon compte Adobe au lancement de InDesign CC 2018 :  après avoir cliqué sur "se connecter maintenant", la fenêtre reste en perpétuel chargement.

Hallo Leute!Ich habe ganz neu das Programm "Adobe Designer" von meinem Arbeitgeber zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen und versuche mich damit jetzt vertraut zu machen. Das gestaltet sich allerdings gar nicht mal so einfach. Ich entschuldige mich jetzt schon mal, falls meine Frage zu simpel ist, aber ich komme echt nicht weiter:Ich soll ein dynamisches Formular mit mehreren Seiten unter anderem mit Textfeldern erstellen.  Jetzt ist auf der ersten Seite ein Textfeld, was vom Anwender befüllt werden soll. Die Länge des Textes kann jedoch auch mal über die eine Seite hinausgehen. In diesem Fall möchte ich einen Seitenwechsel hinbekommen und das Textfeld von Seite 1 soll auf Seite 2 weitergehen. Die nachfolgenden Seiten sollen sich dann (und nur dann) verschieben. So wie es in Word total einfach ist. Im Designer bekomme ich das nicht hin. Geht das überhaupt, dass das Textfeld über mehrere Seiten verläuft? Der Text soll auf jeden Fall im sichtbaren Bereich bleiben.Kann mir wer helfen? Ich

Dear allI'm having an issue with Adobe InDesign 2024. I imported a Word document that was marked with EndNote. Although the references are highlighted, I can't find them in the hyperlink list. Moreover, I'm unable to click on them. Has anyone else faced a similar problem? What could be the possible solutions? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

Up until recently (and I'm not sure when the upodate may have changed things) when I duplicated an object the new copy appeared slightly right and down from the original.... now this is appearing right at the bottom of the pasteboard and way over to the right - I'm guessing it would go further right if there was more vertical pasteboard available... There must be a way to set the offset for the duplicate function - but I can't find it!   Any pointers most welcome   <Title renamed by MOD>    

Mac user open a indesign files on a NAS server and work on it - and then suddenly files is read only.No other users is using this file. Any ideas what to check for ? - or if there is any log files etc somewhere ?

I've posted before about InDesign-macOS compatibility and with the help of the community, decided not to update my OS to Sonoma, so I'm still on macOS 12--Monterey (12.7.6). This morning Adobe updated all my apps except Photoshop. I got a message that Photoshop might not work on my older OS. Now I'm stumped regarding what to do--if I update my OS to 15, InDesign might not work. If I stick with 12, I can't update all of my Adobe apps. Both InDesign and Photoshop are essential to my work.   <Title renamed by MOD>

Bonjour à tous, J'ai imprimé un visuel avec l'option 'mosaïque', composé de 20 pages A3. Certaines de ces pages ont rencontré un problème d'impression, et j'aimerai pouvoir relancer l'impression de ces pages uniquement... Comment cela est-il possible ? J'ai tenté de renseigner le numéro des pages concernées dans le champ 'Etendue', mais Indesign considère qu'il n'y a qu'une seule page au document. Merci d'avance pour votre aide.

Hi all, Today I am stuck with this validation of library issue.  How to validate a indesign library file is a valid file or not before opening it into application using javascript. Is a way or method or something near by that. Thing is if I take any random file instead of a proper library file and renamed it ".indl" and try to open it through javascript, entire application crashes instead of throwing error. Instead if you open that file manually in InDesign you will get to see an error message that it is not a valid file but application never crashes.   Thanks Sunil

J'ai un problème sur Indesign (version CC2018)Lorsque je trace un trait avec les outils plumes, trait ou crayon, celui-ci n'apparait pas même en modifiant les épaisseurs, couleurs de tracé. L'objet est bien crée, je peux le modifier, déplacer, mais il n'est pas visible ni en travail ni en impression.Savez-vous d'où vient le problème ?merci

Hi, working with the latest Indesign Version 2024, Command Z is grey and "safe" or "safe as" is not working ... have alreday deleted Indesign preferences for a couple of times, but problem appears again and again ... didnt find any solutions now for years ... somebody out there with some suggestions what to do? I have been using InDesign 2025 for my work projects and have not been able to see images for the longest time. The images are correctly linked, and I have already reinstalled InDesign. I am unsure what steps to take to make the images pop up properly. Please let me know if you have any solutions!      <Title renamed by MOD>

Hello,   I've run across the same issue this Reddit user is having and it's unsolved.   Is there any solution to this? That is, having multiple lines within the same paragraph have a gap between the shaded background without doing hard returns.    Any help will be appreciated! Thanks.   <Title renamed by MOD>

Our company uses Plus Jakarta across all of our templates and documents in both the Creative Suite and Microsoft products.  Occasionally, when exporting from InDesign to PDF the font exports with significant formatting issues and replaces the fonts with symbols and boxes. The templates use paragraph styles. There has not been a pattern to the issue and we are unable to replicate it. It appears to be happening randomly.  At first, we thought it was a font issue so it was uninstalled and the TTF font was reinstalled, however the issue keeps happening. A Google search suggests the computer cant find the font used in the original document, however the fonts show installed in the fonts folder.  Any ideas of what could be happening or how we might be able to better troubleshoot the situation?   <Title renamed by MOD>

Hallo CommunityIch musste mich von der alten Adobe Creative Suite verabschieden... Der alte PC lässt kein Windows 11 mehr zu... Und die Creative Suite 5.5 kann man nicht mehr anmelden mit der bisherigen Lizenz!Somit Einrichten auf neuem PC, viel Arbeit, jetzt noch die Adobe CC mit InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat und Illustrator. Soweit alles gut, nur lädt InDesign meine bisherig verwendeten Schriften (Type 1 und True Type) für die Erstellung meiner Zeitung nicht. Was ist falsch oder wie muss ich vorgehen?Die Schriften sind in einem Ordner «PSFonts» auf der Harddisk gespeichert, die Schriften funktionieren auf allen anderen Programmen problemlos, da sie in «Windows/Fonts» installiert sind. Why can't I get page numbers on my InDesign File? It comes up so weird. It will give me page numbers from 13-71 but not before or after. I added some 60+ pages at the beginning of the document and then moved pages from another Indesign File into those 60+ pages. Could that be the problem? I tried deleting the master/parent pages and making new master/parent pages, but still can't get the page numbers to show up. Can anyone help?         <Title renamed by MOD>

I just updated Indesign to the most recent version- 2025.  When the window is minimized (side by side with another application- not the full screen) I can't scroll with my mouse- Even trying the scroll bar doesn't work.  I've tried the hand tool, tried restarting the application.  I have a logitech mouse.  My touch pad works only for horizonzal scrolling.      <Title renamed by MOD>

Hello, good morning everyone.   In the latest update versions of InDesign I noticed a problem regarding keyboard shortcuts. Alignment shortcuts stopped working. The bold, italic and regular shortcuts also stopped working. They started to occur in version 19.4 and were repeated in update 19.5. They have not been corrected. Yesterday, Indesign didn't open. I would click and it would start, then promptly stop. I decided to uninstall Indesign since my files were saved to the cloud. I reinstalled it and it would open when it was finished installing, but i couldn't then quit the program and restart it again - it kept closing itself. I updated my Mac, and now all my files are gone. Files for school and work that I need kept because trying to remember it all is a nightmare. Does anyone have any idea what to do? I can see certain recent files on my creative cloud, but I can't open them. I recieve the message, "Cannot open the file. Adobe Indesign may not support the file format, a plug-in that supports the file format may be missing, or the file may be open in another application". It's just a regular .indd files that I have saved on my macbook. I don't know how to go about getting my work back and i'm rather stressed about it.      <Title renamed by MOD>

I wok on a 14" iMac Pro running Sonoma 14.7 and have two Dell 27" monitors attached for additional real estate. I typically have my ID document displayed on one of the larger monitors, but the toolbar displays in the upper left corner of the laptop screen and is partially hidden with no way that I can grab ahold of it and move it to the other screen (see screenshot). 1) how can I move the toolbar onto the larger screen, and 2) is there a way I can anchor the toolbar to the workspace so that it displays correctly no matter which screen it is displayed on?     <Title renamed by MOD>

I've been trying to print my book to Kindle - KDP for several weeks one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to do. I thought this program would make life easy. There are so many variations when you try to print. Despite having the correct measurments InDesign doesn't stick to the measurements.How do you print a cover for example when its 3 pages it only gives you the measurementes for one and not combines. Why hasn't Adobe made things easier for doing books on Kindle??

Every time a document is unlinked in my indesign files and I go to relink or update the link, indesign immediately crashes. My only workaround has been to completely delete the file from indesign and drop it in again. Is there a way to resolve this issue?   <Title renamed by moderator>

When I attempt to use the "Go To State" button action, the checkbox named "Go Back on Roll Off" is greyed out but checked / enabled. Since it's greyed out, I can't uncheck or disable it. I do not see a way of doing that. I've tried all I know of. I thought since it was greyed out, it might not actually be "enabled", but it is. When I create the button and use "Go To State" with that greyed out box checked, the state only appears as long as the mouse cursor is over the button. The state disappears (goes back) as soon as you hover or roll off the button. This is causing the "Go To State" action to be completely useless. I've tried changing the button "event" to "click" instead of "on release or tap", but still the same issue. I've tried reopenning the document, and also shutting down InDesign, but no luck. The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling InDesign. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Screenshot attached...
