How do I get rid of the vignette effect on unchecked images? I'm trying to import images into a collection from a file location and when I uncheck all I get this vignette effect which makes it very difficult to see the images and distinguish between shots.

One of my image folders is showing an incorrect number of images.  The folder itself contains 2000+ images, they are all visible in the grid view and all editible in the Develop Module.  I have a screen capture that shows part of the grid view which contains all 2000+ images.  I have screen captures of the grid view but I can't post them because I'm being asked for labels for each image but I don't know what labels it is referring to. There is nothing wrong in the grid view or in the folder itself, but the catalog on the left column says that there are only 14 images.  Clearly that is wrong.  Both Windows explorer and the count summery at the bottom the Grid View agree on the 2000+ number.  But the left column says there are only 14 A second screen capture shows the image count of 14 but again, I don't know how to post it.   I see no other errors.  I have no idea why this particular folder vs all the others, is wrong.&nbs

While image processing works fine, there is a delay between the filmstrip and the large window, even if I just add a star.This problem has been going on for a long time. We added RAM to the computer, and although I'm no expert, I think it's a high-performance machine. All of my catalogs keep getting corrupted almost every day (sometimes even multiple times a day), and this is absolutely frustrating!   I am using Lightroom Classic version 14.0.1. Running on macOS Sequoia 15.0.1. MacBook Pro M2 Pro. My catalog files are stored on external SSDs along with my RAW files. I don't save catalogs on my laptop's internal storage because the Lightroom previews take up a significant amount of space. Before you start suggesting that it might have something to do with my SSDs, I'm pretty sure that's not the case because this is how I have been working with the previous versions of Lightroom Classic and I never had a problem. I have five different external SSDs (some new, some a few years old) with five different catalogs, and ALL of them keep getting corrupted multiple times a week.   Usually, after repairing the catalogs, they start working again, but I don't want it to keep happening since it significantly slows down my workflow. I have a Collection of more than 240 images. The Book module will only import the first 240 into the Filmstrip and Book Layout. By placing multiple images on some pages, the Book is now only 187 pages. How do I import additional images beyond the first 240 in the Collection so as to have a Book that is 240 pages long but with many more images than that?

Hello everyone,Lightroom Classic slideshow freezes the music and starts it over again. I've been having this problem for a couple of months now.Does anyone know what's causing it and how to fix it?Sometimes I can fix it by putting the song on the faster SSD, but that doesn't always work.Help please!

I have a catalog of several hundred photos I have been editing for the last three months. I thought I finished today, but when I scrolled back, an entire section was no longer edited, even though I know I edited them previously. The photos are still there but show no record of being edited. I went looking for backups and realized the catalog had not been backed up, even though it was set to back up once a week. I am using Lightroom Classic and updated today to v 14.5.1. I have no idea if the edits were there before I updated it or not. I would really appreciate any advice!

Often when I am trying to move a picture from Lightroom into Photoshop, selecting "edit in photoshop" does not work.  If I then select it a second time, it opens in Photoshop as expected.  Pretty annoying. It has been doing this for a while over several versions of LR and Photoshop, but currently I have: Lightroom Classic 14.5.1Photoshop 26.10MacBook Air, Sequoia 15.6 Thanks!

I'm a long time Lightroom user and I'm running Lightroom Classic 14.5.1 on MacOs 15.6.1.Over the last few Lightroom Classic updates, but more so in this version, I'm noticing an issue. After importing photos and creating a collection which is synced, one can 'flag' photos. Sometimes (not always), the 'flags' don't always sync to the photo online - even though LR has completed the sync (ie; cloud icon on far right has green tick).Updates to the photo (exposure, contrast etc) are applied to the version online  just fine - just not the flagged status, leaving me to have to manually find the photo and flag it in the online version.As I said - it doesn't happen ALL the time, but happens several times a day..I've tried reinstalling, restarting, etc - so reaching out!

D.h. es gibt dann einen zweites identisches Stichwort, was ja eigentlich nicht möglich sein sollte. Aufgefallen dadurch, dass nach einer Metadatensynchronisation mit anderen Bildern der komplette Pfad des Stichwortes im Stichwort Fenster angezeigt wurde (siehe Anhang). Extremst lästig ... vor allem wenn man eine komplexe und umfangreiche Stichwort sammlung hat. Nachtrag:Ich tippe auf ein Problem mit Chars. Lightroom is running extremely slowly and not functioning properly. It crashes frequently, takes a very long time to load, and often freezes during editing, which makes my work very difficult. Hello, I have a new Fujifilm XM5 and I cannot import or view the photos on lightroom. And I want to work on original files. I have the version 13-5-1 of Lightroom and I have a Mac. Could you help me?

My workflow involves editing smart previews on another computer most of the time. Something seems to be broken in the latest update, because after making any edit to the image I get an exclamation mark with the message "Error writing metadata". I had no issue with this in the past up till today and did not change anything in my workflow or settings either. Current version: Lightroom Classic 13.0.1

I recently updated the drivers for my Intel Arc B580. Since then the AI masking feature no longer works. If I try to get the software to detect  anything (sky, background, subject, etc.), it attempts it and then gives up without creating a mask. It then turns off graphics acceleration with the message "Graphics acceleration is disabled due to an error." This is a real pain. Nothing else on my system is having a problem with the updated graphic drivers. Steve

I have a new(er) computer and would like to put my old LR 4 on it as it is just for pix upload/edit/file change. My download links are not working, per ADOBE, only the windows platform is no longer avail. Where can I find the Mac OS version? 2012 to be detailed on year bought.  I actually transferred the program from computer to computer, it loads, but crashes when I try to import. Any help would be FANTASTIC.....Thank you

I am unable to edit photos after the 14.5 update.  14.5.1 - did nothing to help.  I can no longer navigate through previews to cull images.  When I do click on a preview it takes ten seconds to come to attention.  To apply an edit it takes ten seconds for the image to show the changes.  I can't toggle between images because it takes 10 seconds to respond.  This has absolutely killed my workflow.  I have tried everything.  Went back to 14.4 but the bug remained.  Changed all sorts of settings,  created new previews for entire catalog and still nothing helps.  I have a new 2024 Macbook Pro with M4MAX - 1TB SSD and 64GB RAM.  Is anyone else experiencing this crippling bug?  

Hi I will spare the boring details but all of my missing photos are in the same folder (but have different parent folders so I can't correct it that way). I thought it would be easy to relink them using the "Find nearby missing photos" option in the Locate missing photo dialogue. But apparently that's been removed in v14.4??? Screengrab attached. WTF Adobe, why would you remove functionality?  I checked the Adobe help page for this and it still tells you to click that option in the missing photo dialogue. 

I run Lightroom on Mac (M4 Mac Mini).  All pictures are stored in two external drives (primary drives).  The catalog is on another separate drive.  The pictures (and catalog) are backed up to some other drives.  Suppose that my primary drives die.  Can I update the catalog to point to the locations in the backup drives where the pictures are backed up?Thanks David

A new version if Photoshop Beta went out this morning and now all the Edit in Photoshop for Open as Smart Objects/Merge/Layers are all grayed out unless Photoshop Beta version is the configured in External Editing.  If I have the regular non-beta version, doesn't work.  Even if I uninstalled the Photoshop Beta version it is still grayed out.

Primero de todo es que es un bloque muy pesado al ser formato RAW para su edición, ergo, más espacio ocupa. Este aspecto es el que me preocupa, ya que cada vez que las importo, me coge el disco C: de mi ordenador (la memoria que trae el propio PC) y la verdad que no suelen traer mucha memoria de serie.Entonces me gustaría consultaros posibles soluciones, o bien alternativas. Gracias de antemano.

I just finished a Book in Lightroom (saved and sent off to Blurb).  I now want to move onto a new book with photos in another collection (no collection overlap).  When I go to the Book module, the pics from my last book show up along with the pics in my "new" collection.  (in the Library and Develop modules they do not show up).   If I do an auto Book layout, all the pics along with the unwanted ones are used.  Has anyone experience this and if so, how do I clear out this "cached pic issue"

Hi. I have a Sony E Mount Sigma 10-18mm f2.8 lens and I'm a bit confused about which lens profile I should be using in Lightroom. To my eye, the automatically selected built-in profile (whose info dialog shows the correct lens) looks a lot different, and worse, than the one that can be manually selected named "SIGMA 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN C023, SONY".   If I would like to use the manually selected profile instead of the built-in one for all imported files, how do I do that?    [Mod: Moved to the Lightroom Classic forum]  

Good morning.I have a problem with photos in Lightroom Classic.Often, when I reopen the program to continue working on the pictures is the information "pictures not found".Why doesn't the program see the photos I imported and worked with them the day before?What should I do to open photos and work with them?Please help.Regards Anett

Occasionally there will be 'fringing' like across the top of this plane in flight and wondering if there is a filter or help in Lightroom to reduce this chromatic abberation?

Not sure if this is norm since I have not seen any documentation on it.I have made a few attempts to add GPS coordinates to multiple images in LrC  14.5.1 I discovered it will not populate all images within a selection with the same information. How difficult would it be to populate all within the selection?
