In LrC 14.2, if you try and open a catalog that is in a folder that it doesn't have permissions for, it reports the catalog as corrupt, which it is not.  Occurs starting LrC by double clicking a catalog or by opening LrC and using Open Catalog.

HiThema Panoramen erstellen im LrC mit RAW Files, welche Vorbereitungseinstellungen soll man machen nadem die Bilder importiert sind und bevor sie in das Modul zum Zusammenfügen geschickt werden.Ich finde bis jetzt leider keine befrieidigende Aufzählung und Klarstellung welche vorgängigen Anpassungen an einem RAW File von LrC zur Erstellung von Panoramen berücksichtigt oder automatisch gemacht werden.Welche Einstellungen im Entwicklungsmodul werden für die Verarbeitung von Bildern berücksichtigt, wenn man mehrere Bilder zu einem Panorama zusammenfügt? Gibt es allenfalls auch Einstellungen welche von LrC automatisch vorgenommen werden? Gemeint ist damit, Einstellungen die man vornimmt bevor man die Bilder in das Zusammenfügenmodul schickt.Spielt es eine Rolle welches Bild als erstes ausgewählt wird? Beeinflusst das allenfalls automatische Korrekturen, welche von LrC vorgenommen werden? Beispielsweise Helligkeit/Belichtungswerte, oder Weissabgleich?Vielen Dank für Euren Input  

I am using Topaz AI and Nik Color Effex as plugins in LR Classic. After using one of those plugins and returning to LR, the photo with the made corrections is shown. However, some functions of LR are now as blocked and not responding; e.g. Export or showing the filename. Only solution then is to exit LR and restart it, then all works again. I tried to deinstall the plugins and reinstall them, tried to deinstall LR and reinstall it with no effect. Working with MBP 16" (2024), M4 Max, Sequoia 15.3.2, LR 14.2. and the latest versions of the plugins.

Commment revenir à la version Classic 13.5 puisque la version 14.x mise à jour ne fonctionne pas. Je ne puis plus utiliser ma base de photos ! Impossible d'utiliser l'ancienne version 13.5. Mersi.  

Recently, I'll be reviewing images in LRC (version 14.2 on Windows 11) when the preview will suddenly change to a washed out desaturated one right in front of my eyes without my doing anything. - It happens weeks after initial import and after I've already edited and exported.- It seems to affect only images from my drone (DJI mini pro 4)- It doesn't happen in Library mode, only when I enter Develop, and seems to be irreversible- If I've taken the image into PS to work on and then brought back into LRC for further edits, these files seem to be immune to the sudden change.  When these files come back from PS, the profile is simply 'Colour' rather than 'Adobe Colour' I cannot find any explaination in any forums.  Why would this happen at this point?  I'd understand if it happened straight after import.  Have Adobe been changing the 'Adobe Colour' profile?  Or have they introduced a profile for the DJI Mini Pro 4 that is being applied retrospectively?&nb

I teach at a large university and I'm having problems in Light Room Classic. . . and my students don't have access to any features that utilize AI. Faculty and grad students have access to this feature, but the students don't.   My IT department says it is because that is considered a premium feature. . . but I feel like it is a feature they could turn on from the admin end (this is also from what I've read online).  I'm fighting a huge beast as they have just said it doesn't exist, but I need more information!!! I don't have access to the Adobe support because it's enterprise.  Anyone know about this?     

Hello.  I'm having a problem with the resolution enhancment tool in Lightroom Classic.  I get a large ring of light after enhancing my image. The original file is a Nikon RAW file (.NEF) and I'm using a fairly recent Macbook Pro (2022) laptop.  While HDR data is available in the RAW file and my computer is capable of displaying HDR content, the same ring appears whether I've enabled HDR or not.  I still have the original file, but I'd really like to print this one larger.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks!  -Rick W.

Lorsque j'importe dans lightrrom, je perds les données fournis par l'apprail tels que gps, marque, etc... j'ai vérifié les paramétres prédéfinis, aucune case n'est cochée. si je coche une case, je dois compléter le champ. How do I search for exact keywords in Lightroom's keyword list?For example, if I type “bar” all the words that include “bar” appear, such as “barcelona”, etc. But I just want “bar” to appear.Thanks.

Hello, I am not a well versed user of Photoshop, Bridge or Lightroom CC, that being noted -Has anyone found a way to download RAW Images taken with Canon EOS R7 in Burst Mode?  I tried in Bridge with no success, it does not show the file with the multiple images.Canon DPP has some way of doing this?  I tried to shoot hummingbirds on the fly, with electronic shutter, burst mode, RAW format - I can shoot up to 30 Frames Per Second and they are stored on the SD card just fine, all in one file.  If one reviews on the camera, you can save an  individual frame as RAW, JPEC or HEIF. The 3" screen is not great for reviewing shots!  Saving is a one at a time process and I have not found a way to easily delete those not wanted.  So easy to shoot a massive amount of frames, but difficult to review and select "keepers". Thanks In Advance -   

How can i move a picture to a different folder? I am in Lightroom, in the Library, and the folders are open on the left side. I look in a folder, see a photo, and I want to move it to a different folder. It would seem that this would be the most used action on this photo. I see nothing in the metadata that will let me move it, and when i right click on the folder there are dozens of actions, but none are Move to Another Folder. I have looked for over 30 minutes how this can be done and it has finally just frustrated me, so here I am.Thanks,Joe

My current catalog has the photos but not collections that were made.I've imported from another catalog just one folder "2024-07-28 Jace SENIOR Pics"In came in with the "?", as you can see below.The D and E drives are external.How do link the collection edits that are on the D drive to the actual photos on the E drive? 

This may well belong under both BUG and IDEA. I have a very large range of keywords, The hierarchy extends many levels deep. For exampleROAD TRANSPORTF MANUFACTURERFORD VEHICLESFORD USAFORD M MODELSFORD MUSTANG MODELSFORD MUSTANG 1970 - 1979FORD MUSTANG 1975 Closing this Tree to get to move in the keyword drop list to sayCHEVROLET VEHICLES takes a great deal of right mouse clicks right back up the tree. If an option existed on the right mouse to CLOSE TREE at any of the points in the tree this would improve things greatly. Particularly I struggle with the following behaviours. If I close the tree at the top level, FORD, it opens up again when I reach the same point in the tree as it was closed.  If I am going to  FORDFORD USAFORD T MODELSFORD TORINO I then have to still deal with all the Mustang tree again at this stage. Opening a main heading sometimes randomly opens up a lot of the trees under it. So Opening F MANU

Hello everyone,I'm encountering a significant issue with Lightroom Classic that I hope someone here might be able to help me with. I shot a series of RAW photos and began editing them, utilizing AI noise reduction on some. However, I haven't finished editing all the photos yet, and when I returned to the project after about two weeks, I found that I could no longer use the noise reduction function. Even reverting the photos that had already the noise reduction back to their original versions didn't solve the problem (I thought the new photos might have had import issues, so I tried reverting an older one to see if I could at least apply it). I haven't made any changes to the settings, and I've also freed up a considerable amount of space on my computer. Despite this, the issue persists.I'm attaching the error message that Lightroom displays for reference. If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has any suggestions on how to resolve it, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hi, I find LrC a kind of unintuos "machine or roulette" I don't know who has invented all that! Adobe Photoshop with Bridge (the latter at last been refurbished lately) is far far better! So, I have, I hope, have a simple question: I have all the projects pictures in a collection in LrC. Now, I wanted to edit one of the pictures in another app, Topaz Photo AI, and therefore I copied the picture to another folder, and then, after, trying to get that edited picture back to LcR, it didn't work. I just have to say: I never got the picture to LcR. WHAT is the way to get  picture edited outside LcR to the collection, beside the origial one, or somewhre there near o the orinal one?? So, what is the way if I want to do some editing outside LcR and to get the picture to the same series from which the picture was taken out. Thanks, Tuomas

I'm having trouble pin pointing an issue I have. I've recently switched my HDR workflow from Photomatix to processing HDR directly in LR for more flexability. When I used Photomatix it provided TIFF files for me to edit, and I could take any image into Photoshop for speciality editing, save it, and it updates perfectly in LR without any color or gamma shifts. Now, while I am editing these Lightroom HDR photos (in SDR Preview, I am not delivering HDR files) and I send an image to photoshop it will come in flat and without my edits (it's a 32-bit file inside of PS) and I cannot do my work in Photoshop and return to LR with my original adjustments intact. What part of this workflow am I missing? Thanks everyone!

When I select a folder in the Folders view I first see all photo thumbnails in the version I have edited them but after a few seconds they start one by one to revert to a original state. The repro photos reverts to their negative image. What is happening? All edits and crops etc are removed. For the B/W ones if I select a photo and then just click somewhere in the Tone Curve panel it turns positive as I developed it. The edits in the Basic panel seems to be correct but any crop on the photo is removed. I have a backup 1 month old but unfortunately it has the same behaviours. I have a backup from Nov 21 2024 that does not have this behaviour and alla photos are correctly displayed with my edits. I have 200k photos in the catalog so please help !!! Lightroom Classic 14.2, Windows 11 24H2, PC with 64GB memory and 2 TB disk.  

The subject process took place in LrC 13, it commenced in v 13.2 and completed in v 13.3. As a result of this transition if users wish to sync images to Adobe Creative Cloud to Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based) they are required to use LrC v 13.3 or later. If users wish to upgrade from a LrC version earlier than 13.2 (including Lr 6 original version) directly to  the latest version 14 they will get an errror that indicates their catalog cannot be upgraded. They will need to use LrC 13.2 to upgrade their Catalog then use LrC 14 to upgrade the Catalog to v 14. During the past few months there have been many threads related to this issue. I am suggesting a pinned thread along these lines, amendments or corrections welcomed.

This happens frequently when I rename a folder.  Folder renames correctly but behind all the windows is a blank persistant "Rename Folder" window that can't be moved or closed.  Lightroom hangs when i try to quit, likely due to this window.  

I have LR Classic 14.2 installed in 2 different devide but in one I have IA in there and in the other it isn't it is like enable.How can I have back the AI?
