Hi! Not using much Lightroom, mostly with PS, I'm surprised that when I make collections for arranging photos in their (sub)collections, I lose the position in the original/starting collection, that is, when I'm at the number 100 in the starting collection, and I get back after visiting a (sub)collection, I'm somewhere else in the starting collection, let's say at a photo 10. Very frustrating. Scrolling and trying to remember where I was, among some 1k photos. In other words, the collections do not appear to keep their views but they jump somewhere with no sense. Why do I keep getting a LR message that tells me that LR does not have access to all the folders that it needs? As I said, system settings seem to give it access to ALL folders. 

Im using LRC 14.2 on. Mac Mini, runnign Sequoia 15.3.2. How do I load new presets?

Hi!When I try to export a Heic file, this message appears: HEIC files are only supported with an active subscription (1)  IMG_1236.HEIC (heic_unsupported_platform) what that means?? I have my suscription to LR I dont undestand what happen.... What I should do.? I can edit the photo but I cant export it.

I've noticed in the Lightroom develop module that the image is blurry, but when I am in the library module, zoom in, click fill screen, or turn off GPU acceleration this does not happen. I have a 2021 16" MacBook Pro with an M1 pro chip and am using the latest version of macOS, Lightroom, and MacOS. I've done some research about this and apparently, it just happens with certain GPU's so I wanted to post this to file a bug report. If anyone has a fix that would be amazing. I also attached a screenshot of my system info.

Hello, the keywords panel is very very long in my case. Can i sort the keywords panel so that all keywords in use on selected pics or folders appear on top - not strictly alphabetical, but sorted by usage ? (I have the newest LR Classic on Windows.) I understand that i could remove folders and then delete unused keywords from the list. But i don't want to remove folders - i just want the "Keywords" panel to focus on those keywords that are within the files currently selected or displayed, not equally showing keywords for files not under consideration at the moment. I also understand that i could delete or add keywords in the "Keywording"-panel, but that is sometimes tricky especially when deleting a keyword that has accidentally been used on 200 of 300 files. (I know how to do that, but i don't like the procedure.) So i want to sort the "Keywords" panel by keywords in use - can do? Thanks!

Hi, As noise is more likely to appear in dark areas, I was wondering if many people brighten their photo before doing NR so they can fully see whether they are eliminating the noise, OR if you cannot see it clearly i.e. the noise hides in the shadows, you don't worry about it. I guess this question can be related to what order do you do your editing in?, as if you do NR after exposure + highlights etc. then you may see more or less noise in the photo depending on if it got brightened or darkened. thanks

Scenario: Away from home I take a load of holiday photos and upload them onto my Adobe Cloud account. I edit them in LR Mobile on my iPad. Back home I synch my LrC (Classic) and I see all my images in LrC. The images all have the correct GPS data and time log (both taken from 5DMkIV).  All good so far. But I know that there are additional images on my camera CF card that I didn't import or deleted from the Cloud, so, back home, I then import from the CF card to LrC ensuring that "new images" only is checked.Problem: LrC imports ALL images adding a "-2" to the file name. So why are the same images not recognised as the same file?  Is it because the the time and GPS are slightly different? And why are they different? The difference is miniscule: 16° 45'38.004" W on CF card and 16° 45'38.0052" W on Cloud version - so not even a rounding error. TIme is 07:41:25.30 on CF card and 07:41:25 on Cloud version.I don't care about any GPS or time error as it's is too small to w

Hi all.Can anyone explain why when we activate this module, the image gets even more distorted?For example, I process images from the Nikon D850 camera and the Nikkor AF-S 24-70 mm f/2.8E ED VR lens. It is clear that if I decided to accommodate the details on the whole sensor area, then the edges of the image will be stretched, and the central part will remain undistorted.I open this raw file in Adobe Lightroom, activate the module Optics/Use profile corrections, I see that the program has chosen my lens correctly, but at the same time the image is stretched even more on the edges.Probably, there is a lot of literature on this topic. You can sit and quiet warm evenings, covered with a blanket, read it to understand. But can someone just explain how to get out of this situation with the optical correction?Or is my case unique and need to show screenshots - examples of photos taken?

These are a stacked image with Develop adjustments, both edited, as noted by the software recognizing that they are both edited. They both show up with no filter applied (Filter based on Edit Status: OFF).This is the stack of images, with the Filter Based on Edit Status turned on. The image stack does not show up. I'll release the filter, edit both images separately, and turn the filter back on, the original stack image does not show up. Why? LR V. 14.2Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2Create a stack of images, edit both, filter by edit status ON.... Hi,Printing from Lightroom classic with a brand new Epson P900 and the prints are all washed out--lacking color and contrast.Just replaced a working Epson R2400 which printed fine.  Same settings as on the old machine, color managed, paper profiles all good. Color managed by Lightroom, printing at High quality and Max quality all the same washed out look.  I'm missing something in my new setup.Any suggestions would be welcome.Thanks 

Printing from Lightroom Classic on a Macbook, to a Canon ImagePrograf Pro-300.  I'm using the Print tab, and at the very bottom, there is a section called Color Management.  If, in Color Management,  I select a paper profile I downloaded from the paper manufacturer, I get a magenta cast.  However, if I set Color Management  to "managed by printer," there is no magenta cast.  This is a sudden change.  I've printed using Lightroom to manage colors many times before.  From what I have read, this behavior means I'm I am somehow managing color from more than one source, but I cannot figure out what the sources could be.   The only thing I have found that is different is that, when I choose to let the printer manage color, in the printer dialog under "color," the box for Canon color is checked, but if I choose a paper profile, and look at the print dialog under "color," then ColorSync is checked (see attached screen shots). I admit I was

How do you delete facial recognition data that is on Adobe servers?  This is not to get rid of the face tags or regions on photos, but this is to delete the information being stored related to the face recognition.  There are instructions for how to do this with Lightroom CC - https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/preferences.html, but nothing that I could find for Lightroom Classic to protect privacy.

I saw at least one other thread on this with no practical answer. For some reason, the Export diaolog box will not come up.  It comes up only one time when I restart everything, allows me to export one time, then it won't come up again.   I'm on the newest 14.2.   Extremely frustrating and I really don't believe several people are just mysteriously getting corrupted catalogs, etc. Need this fixed ASAP!

So, I got my new M4 and installed LRC (14.4) and PS.I can not for the life of me find the "Develop" module section. There is ibrary, and all the others. But no develop. Not in the Window menu under modules either. And I'm not running a cloud-version without knowing either. I have tried a bunch of chatGPT-solutions but nothing. Can anyone help me with this issue?- Sverre

Has anyone had their purchased and downloaded brushes, presets and user saved presets disappear after Adobe maked them re-sign in? I have looked through all of my folders and they are all empty. I tried everything that was suggest via google...still nothing. All I have are the default brushes and presets. Hi all. I have a problem thats realy bothering me since Im a wedding photo editor and I edit hundreds of photos daily. Since the last update..whenever I press the crop tool..there is like 1 second delay since I can crop it. Before this update it never happened...I really dont know what to doThis happend since lightroom version 12.2.1 where crop tool worked perfectly

I have recently been having sync issues with Lightroom Classic and Desktop.  Consistently I will try to sync files to the cloud on either LRC or LR and the same 89 files get stuck every time.  I have had other files get stuck but with multiple tries I have gotten those others to sync.  I worked with Adobe support for over 3 hours and they even took control of my system.   They got The system working for a while then the problems appeared again.  I think it was just luck it started working.  I thought it might be a network problem or some conflict because even for the files that are syncing it is very slow compared to how it was.  I had a network monitor running and killed that and things seemed to start to work again...but like I said the problem returned even with that program not running.  I am running the most recent versions of LRC and LR from Creative Cloud.  My Mac Mini M4 is patched to the latest Sequoia 15.3.2.  I was runni

I copied a folder of images from a failing mechanical drive and the files appear intact - the right sort of file size reported etc. However Lightroom, whilst displaying thumbnails often refuses to open them, or if exported for edit in Photoshop, PS reports damaged file. A few will open in LR Develop but show sections missing. Mostly cr2 and tiff formats. Also, Fast Raw Viwer is sometimes able to open a TIFF file that PS says is damaged, and then I can sometimes successfully save it under a new name and import it into LR. But inconsistent. All this leads me to hope that these "damaged" images simply have an EOF or similar missing and are recoverable. However, Googling found a limited number of image repair programs, many being rebadged versions of Solar (?) and the trial version failed anyway! So. Has anyone any suggestions for image file repair apps that might work, hopefully free as funds are limited. Or maybe a way to manually edit such files myself in a hex editor?

When importing from LR classic into Portfolio the subtile may be shown in Portfolio, but in Béhance a subtitle has to be added manually for every picture. I see no add-in or else making it possible to have (sub)titles shown in Béhance pictures automatically with the imports from LR. So, Béhance has the opportunity to add text, but the text availble in LR is just not imported. Is that overlooked or can it be repaired?I understood Béhance is meant to feed search engines as a main purpose so this feels like a bug to me.   NBAs a nature photographer I would at least have the name of a species shown with the photo. Adding these again one-by-one although these are already in Lightroom and Portfolio is a loss of time to me. However, when titles are absent the search engines will not find the pictures whilst Portfolio does not feed into the search engines, and Béhance does. So PF does not suit my purpose to feed locatable pictures with a both artistic AND knowledgable/scientific
