Bonjour.Impossible de lancer Lightroom Classic (v13.2) sur mon Mac (Mac M2 - version 14.4.1).
Lately when I open masking I find a one stop plus of exposure. This means that the color overlay does not show until I zero out the exposure slider. Damned annoying! How do I reset to a default zero opening? LRC 13.2 (Creative Cloud), Windows 11, Dell XPS 16. Thanks [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Desde esta tarde no puedo abrir en lightroom classic archivos RAW de la cámara Sony A7IV. En camara raw si los abre. En lightroom classic me dice que no esta disponible previsualización. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
Hello-I am experiencing something today that in all my years of using Lightroom hasn’t happened before. When I attempt to download images from my SD card using the import dialogue box, in the destination pane it shows the folder it is about to create and the images that are going to go into it. However, when I click the import button, I get a dialogue box that states “could not copy the file to the destination folder because it is not writable”. I have a list of folders a mile long from previous imports, but today for some reason it decides it does not want to import my files any longer. I haven’t made any changes that I am aware of, so this is a mystery to me. oddly enough, if I change the destination to a folder which already exists, the images are imported there with no problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Lightroom is rather old and thus creates lots of problems, some of which I am currently experiencing 1. My photos zoom in when my mouse leaves the area of the application. I know this isn't that large of a problem but is really annoying. 2. I can't see the changes I make to photos until I zoom in and out on them, AKA if I move my white balance slider, I have to zoom in and out on the picture to see the changes there 3 If I switch to a photo with a different aspect ratio (like going from vertical to horizontal) It doesn't immediately change and instead squishes the photo to fit the old aspect ratio until I zoom in and out. 4. If I open a dialogue box ( like the one that shows when you delete a photo) I have to click outside the application on my second monitor and then click back in order to see the box 5. If I open a drop-down menu either by right-clicking or using the file bar at the top the menu looks like it's flashing between the correct content and white. The specs of my computer
Help! I'm having issues with my Lightroom Classic displaying amazingly edited photos in the Develop screen, but when I go to export them, they're basically looking like SDR. I'm on a newer MacBook Pro M3 Max, my Display is at 1728 x 1117 (Default), Preset Apple XDR Display (P3-1600 nits), Refresh rate of ProMotion, brightness is all the way up, Auto adjust brightness is on, and True Tone is on (in case any of this helps). I'm clicking on the export option for HDR Output, Color Space HDR sRGB (Rec. 709), JPEG with Quality 100. I also turned on the LRC Preferences Presets to Enable HDR editing. One thing that I also did that may or may not make any difference is I brought them into Photoshop to use the remove tool and then saved and it goes back into LRC. Thanks for any input as I'm at a loss and have been searching and searching for solutions to no avail. If using HDR is not a generally accessible format out there, then I'm unsure how beneficial this option is to help a few out wh
Hello!Tell me, please, how do I understand in the code that a certain Tab is selected in the interface in the metadata panel: SelectedPhotos or TargetPhoto? It is highlighted in a brighter white color on the panel. But in the code, that "catalog.targetPhoto", that "catalog.targetPhotos" return the same values regardless of which tab I have selected in the panel. How do I get the value of the selected tab into a variable?I am writing through a translator, please excuse me if it is not very clear.
I am using version 12.3 of LrC. On one of my recently processed photos I am getting a red dot under the Mask tool symbol. Normally there is a white (or light gray) dot under the tool symbols like "Healing", "Crop" or "Edit" indicating that some modifications were done with that tool, but in some cases I'm seeing a red dot. Does anyone know what that's about. I have revisited that tool and made sure that modifications were complete. So, I don't know what may be causing that. Thanks for your help.
When I open Lightroom 6 on PC (Win10) I get this message: The serial number XXXXXX is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer within 5 days to use this product. First thing I went in my Adobe acount to see what other devices are activated, thinking that maybe hardware changes in my PC counted as different computers. But no, I have no activated devices - zero. Please help me, I am stuck! Secondary question: Why do I have a countdown timer untill when I NEED to deactivate another computer? What happens after that? Hi!There was a setting in Lightroom Classic that the catalog automatically creates a backup on a second storage location. I don't think so anymore - where is this attitude? Thank you for your help!Reini

Can anyone tell me how to choose the location for the Catalog Backup in Lightroom Classic (on Mac)? I have the latest release (13.2) but seem no longer able to either locate the location of the backup or choose a different location. The "General" tab of the "Catalog Settings" window has "Information" at the top about the current catalog's name, location, size, etc. However, the bottom "Backup" section only has the dropdown menu to select the frequency of backing up ... and nothing else (see below). Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing? Thanks!
At some point (and I don’t know how), my Lightroom Classic folder structure became configured in a way that doesn’t work well with Lightroom Classic. I tried to solve this problem via a ticket on this Forum, but Lightroom Classic still always seems to have issues (the current issue is it won’t sync and won’t backup upon closing). I’d like to uninstall Lightroom in its entirety, then reinstall. Once I have the default Lightroom file structure back, I’d look to place all my photos back into Lightroom via restoring files/folders from Time Machine backups. Then, I’d import all the photos into Lightroom from the correct, defualt location. Are there any issues with this plan? Thanks
processing changes made in develop mode do not maintain when switching back to library mode but revert to 'as shot'. restart and preferences reset do not help. running LRC 13.2 OS 12.7.4
I am using Lightroom 5.7 and my current Mac OS is 10.14.6. I am going to upgrade to OS 14 (Sonoma) and know I will need to upgrade Lightroom, too. (Yes, I am way behind.) How do I make so upgrades without losing my current cataloging? Thanks for any advice.
I recently backed up my Macbook to an external hard drive that had been used before and some of the data needed to be dumped to make room. At some point I remember being prompted to answer a question about Lightroom. I think that I accidentally switched libraries. Suddenly, I only show photos up to 2019 in my Lightroom library. Sadly, I no longer have access to that external hard drive.I am not very comfortable with Lightroom on a good day. I don't know how or where to find the most current version of my photo library on my machine. I have been saving images as copies within Lightroom Classic when I made the error.]Can anyone help me to navigate to my full library and restore it?I do have my macbook backing up to a cloud too. I could download the folder there but the problem is that I don't know what I am looking for nor what to do with it.
Dear Adobe community. I have a problem with exporten HDR files properly. I have gone through the list of how to setup up your computer & the export box to HDR exporting. I'm doing it by the book but somehow HDR effect still dosn't appear on my exported images. My Macbook pro M1 is from 21 so it should be able to handle it. Maybe someone else having same issues? Best Casper
I installed the PS beta. After installation PS beta was not listed in the list of External Editors in LR Classic. I uninstalled PS beta and then had no version of PS shown in the External Editors drop-down. The list was empty. After uninstalling and reinstalling both LR & PS I now see PS 2024 in the External Editors list and everything works. Is there a way to install the PS beta on Windows 11 and have both PS 2024 and the PS beta appear in the External Editors drop-down in LR Classic so I can use both? Thanks.
I have a new MacMini with Sonoma 14.2. Downloaded printing routines for my Epson P900. When choosing Print i LRClassic it first insted started the very simple printer settings that follows with the Mac. After a new download of the printersettings from Epson, the printer is no longer to be found!Anyone who has a good communication between Sonoma and the P900?
This Help article explains how to disable the use of the GPU by LR's AI commands:"If you get an error while trying to use AI-powered features such as Denoise, Lens Blur, and Masking, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:" In LR 13.2 / Mac OS 14.4.1 / Macbook Pro M2 Max, these steps don't disable the use of the GPU. So either LR should be fixed or the Help article corrected. Given the continued issues LR has with GPUs over the past couple years, most especially with AMD chips on both Mac and Windows, affecting many users, it would greatly help troubleshooting users' problems if they were allowed to disable the GPU for AI commands. It would be even better if there were a sub-option of Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor, as there is for all the other uses of the GPU by LR. In addition, allowing users to disable the GPU for AI commands would allow them to continue using LR while the problems between Adobe, Apple, AMD, and Nvidia are r
Hi, this is not Lightroom-specific but I am posting here assuming that other Lightroom users may have seen the same issue.x-posting to Canon forum as well.I have been printing on a Canon PRO-100S on Canon paper from LR Classic with excellent results... until "something" happened, possibly to the drivers but perhaps to the printer. This coincided with upgrading to Mac OS 14.2.1 (Sonoma). The entire printing workflow is fine-tuned, incl softproofing using the correct paper-specific Canon colour profiles for the printer and the paper I use (eg Canon Pro Luster), setting colour management in LR to the same colour profiles , matching printer setup to the LR printing setup: colour matching correctly disables (as it's handled by LR), media type correctly set for the target paper, etc.Wonderful results for a long time, until some colours are now suddenly out of control.I have attached a standard Fuji test image and a snapshot of the best test print of it I could
I am not getting an error message but my video files look like negatives. M1 2021 as well. LR and Mac are fully updated. They display fine in Bridge [Moved to separate thread by mderator because this is not the same issue as the thread it was posted in]
