Ich habe in LR mit einem Tool von Jeffrey Friedl's Blog bestimmt Felder überschrieben und dadurch sind auch alle GPS-DATEN überschrieben worden. In der Original-Datei sind sie aber noch vorhanden. Meines Wissens war es (bisher? ) nicht möglich, nur bestimmte Felder wieder zu reimportieren. Ich müsste aber nur die GPS-DATEN wieder in LR importieren.eine Lösung von obigem Blog ist sehr kompliziert und am Ende nicht gelungen. Was ich machen konnte, war bestimmte Originaldaten in eine CSV-Datei zu schreiben (SourceFile; FileName; GPSLatitude ; GPSLongitude)Das zurückschreiben laut Daten funktioniert nicht, komme nicht drauf was. gibt es inzwischen andere Lösungen?danke

Hello, I am experiencing a serious issue with tethered shooting in Lightroom Classic. I am using a Leica M11-P, connected via USB-C (10 Gbps) to a MacBook Pro.Tethering works perfectly in Lightroom Classic with my Sony A7S III, but does not work at all with the Leica, despite following all troubleshooting steps recommended by Adobe. To be very clear: The camera is fully recognized by the system USB cable and ports are not the issue Lrc crash after deconecting the USB-C cable Message on my Leica : Active connection sharing. but not connected Tethering works flawlessly with Capture One, both on macOS and on iPad This clearly indicates a Lightroom / Adobe compatibility or support limitation, not a hardware problem. Hi everyone, I’ve been using Lightroom Classic daily for about 6 months with no issues, but it suddenly broke after a normal import from an external hard drive. Is it safe to update now to LrC 15.1? Ive been avoiding it since 14.1 because all I hear about on here are problems. Im running Mac OS Sequoia 15.6.1 on a Macbook Pro M1. My Generative AI Removal has been playing up, running error messages when trying to delete objects, so I wonder whether its time to bite the bullet and hit the update. However, I'd hate to be disappointed with a slower app or some other problem people have been having trouble with.

LR says catalog cant be found.  The catalog at location (/Volumes/One Touch/ ANW PHOTO FILE SEAGATE MINI/ANW PHOTO FILE/2013-03-27 1924/Lightroom 2 Catalog-2-4-v13-3.lrcat) could not be found.  Would you like to locate an existing catalog or use the default one? Searched in catalog folder and nearest to it is  Lightroom 2 Catalog-2-4-v13.Ircat  October 25 2024 But this is dated 2024 and I updated folders and photos in LR several times last year so I dont want to use an old catalog. Before approximately November 11 2025, when I plugged in my iPhone (currently usuing iPhone 17 Pro on iOS 26.2), all the photos and videos in the Photos app would show in the Import window of LrC (v 15.1). Since that time, and continuing to this day, only a small handful of photos show in the Import window. The rest don't show up so I cannot import them directly from my iPhone, which is a huge pain. I have 224 photos and videos (mostly photos) in my Photos app that are properly syncing between the phone and desktop and online cloud (can see them in all location). But, as noted above, only about 2 dozen that are seemingly random. For instance, some from close to November 11, some as recent as yesterday, most days if a photo or two are showing in the Import window, other photos from the same day and timeframe are not showing up. Is there a permissions or other issue that was introduced with an update to iOS or LrC around the timeframe I'm mentioning of early November 2025? LRC 15.1.1Mac Tahoe 26.2I did a shoot for a customer with my Fuji GFX100s. Out of 42 photos, only 21 export. I can't seem to figure out the issue. I have the photos on a T9 and keep it plugged in the whole time while editing. I'm getting desperate as my deadline is coming up. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. I tried attaching screenshots but that wasnt working on this page. Thanks

Hello,I am using Lightroom Classic and recently starting having this error message below when trying to move some images to a different folder. My folder structure is like this below, and the last time I tried to move some images from 2026 folder to 2025 folder. Then I got the error message.I'm no PC expert but could someone guide me to a solution?   Looking forward to some advice.    

Write metadata (LR Classic Version 15.1.1) to more than one picture failed. It will be only written to the first picture, but not to the other selected. Previously, you could select multiple images in the library and set the metadata for several images at once.

Light Room classic crashes as soon as I launch it, just dissapears. I have downloaded it and uninstalled it 3 times and the result is always the same. I made sure to through away the prefernces file each time.  Using Mac OS 15.7.3 I tried to disable the GPU in the preferences file but cannot locate useAutoBahn in it.  Does anyone know what could be causing this?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

iPhone import problem after Mac OS Tahoe 26.2 Update. Lightroom Classic doesn't recognize that there are any photos on my phone. Suggestions?

OK so I have been trying to install Lightroom Classic. And no matter what it is just not working. Creative cloud or lightroom. The installer shows in the task manager every time I run it, but nothing happens, no error message or anything. The mouse just loooks busy for a second, then nothing. I did everything they said, shut off protection, restarted, installed c++ libraries, ran as admin, sat on my head... It worked on my computer fine till I reinstalled windows. I am pretty sure that I probably have stopped a service that it might need to install, although I can't figure out which one. Any ideas would help. 

I've made a complete mess of my LrC catalog. Unknowingly I've must have corrupted it since, on trying to open it, I get the message that it is unwritable. Unfortunately I hadn't made backups as I went along so I can't access the files in that catalog. I had to make a completely new catalog and start from scratch (fortunately I now backup religiously). Is there some way to repair the older catalog?

hallo, ich habe bis jetzt mit LR6 gearbeitet und mp4-files problemlos importiert (unter windows 10) und in LR angeschaut. mit der neuen testversion LR cc v14 geht das nicht mehr. was kann man da tun?  

Estou com um problema parecido, eles até aparecem na hr da sincronização, mas ficam por alguns momentos e depois a foto volta a ficar com as cores antes de sincronizar... esse problema a meses, eu trato a imagem deixo ela perfeita, ai vou editar as demais, ou ajustas as anteriores, e qd eu volto nas que já foram tratadas elas estão escuras, totalmente fora da edição q eu tinha deixado. Já tive que reeditar a metade de uma galeria que ja tinha sido mexida por causa disso. Isso ta atrasado totalmente a minha produção e o andamento do meu trabalho.   E ainda tem que quando to editando, a imagem na revelação ela nao altera, e na parte inferior onde tem a seleção das imagens a serem editadas ali sim se  ve os ajustes serem feitos, mas na parte de cima (maior), nada altera, ai tenho que fechar tudo e depois abrir pra voltar a funcionar.

Bonjour,   A chaque fois que je quitte LightRoom, je demande une sauvegarde de mon catalogue et j'obtiens dans mon répertoire backup un fichier zip qui contient normalement 2 fichiers, Lightroom catalog ... lrcat et Lightroom catalog ... lrcat-data (un dossier en fait). Depuis quelque temps, j'ai 2 fichiers supplémentaires .lrcat-shm et .lrcat-wal dans le fichier zip ; ce sont des fichiers temporaires qui sont "normalement" supprimés quand on ferme LightRoom ; et bien sûr, quand je ré utilise cette sauvegarde sur un autre Mac, ça plante : le catalogue est corrompu !     Tout se passe comme si la création de l'archive (backup) se faisait avant la fermeture complète des ficheirs de LightRoom ... Here's my situation: Just bought a new macbook (to replace an old iMac) and successfully restored from old iMac to new MacBook. In both cases, I have two external drives (my drive naming convention is the brandname followed by the date I put it into service).   I'm running Lightroom Classic 15.11 on a MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.7.3. WDELEMENTS11302024 is my backup drive, and I use TimeMachine as my backup softwareLACIE12212018 is where I store ALL my photosThe internal drive (MACINTOSH HD) is where all my software is, as well as where my catalog file (and all my plug-ins, etc.) are stored. That's not going anywhere.  LACIE12212018 is (can you tell by the date) old, slow, and I can just tell it's not long for this world. I'm not getting any errors/problems, but I can just tell and I want to deal with this BEFORE it becomes a problem.  I have about 2.5 TB  of photos on this drive. New external hard drive arrives this weekend. I took some shots with a Wingscape bird camera. I imported them into Lightroom Classic. It says "Lightroom has encountered problems with this file". They are displayed in very low resolution and cannot be edited. They import into Photoshop fine. If I save one in photoshop as a jpg it is uneditable in LR. If I save it as a PNG from Photoshop it works fine in Lightroom. The jpgs display without issue in Windows and in DXO Photolab 6. The JPG to PNG solution works but I end up with much larger files. I don't know if maybe I have something saved wrong, but every time I update Lightroom Classic, the language gets reset. I've been studying Japanese, so I thought I'd try setting Lightroom to Japanese, too. In Windows 10 Lightroom Classic, I went to Edit > Preferences and changed the language to Japanese.However, every time Creative Cloud Desktop updates Lightroom Classic, the lanuage preference gets reset to English. Is there a way to make it save so I don't have to change it back every time Lighroom has an update? This has been happening for over a year. I tried providing feedback to Lightroom many times via Help > Provide Feedback..., but nothing has changed. I can't understand why the rest of my preferences are respected, but the language is reset. In case it's relevant:* My OS language is set to English.
