I cannot not open my LR catalogus ,i tried my back ups but no resultsI reinstalled my LR but its not going tomopen  

Lightroom Classic Quits unexpectedly.  Using Macbook pro M1 with tahoe 26.1 operating system.  Catalog is running from a external hard drive, Samsung 990 Pro M.2 SSD.  Is there a known fix or a diagnostic app that can be used to correct this issue.

I am having an issue with Exporting in Lightroom Classic. When I export a group of edited photos as JPEG with a 16MB size limit, in nearly every export I have one or two that export as Camera Raw Images, well over the file size limit and have a different date on them than I shot or edited the pics, often different dates with each other.. Which pics are wrong is random with each export, although if I redo the export of the same group, the same ones are wrong. I can correct, by exporting individually. This has happened on two separate computers, and for shoots where different cameras and cards are used. I just got a new laptop and installed LR Classic on it, same issue. Any ideas.

I am using a PC with Windows.  I didn't update LRclassic recently as I've heard there are many problems with this update.  However, about a week ago, each time I backup my catalog, it takes a full hour for LR to complete this task.  It used to be about 10 minutes.  Any idea why it changed so abruptly and what I can do to change this?  Thank you!

I just updated Lightroom Classic to v 15.0.1 and the Remove tools no longer works.. I'm running it on a Mac desktop, Apple M1 chip with 16Gb ram, on Sequoia 15.7.2. Selecting either Remove or Remove Option in the Tools menu after selecting the Object results in a B&W negative style image which you can do nothing with other than exit. Any suggestions please? 

I have been importing photos to lightroom classic on my macbook with no problem. Since the last update it will not import. It says importing photos and nothing happens, even when left for a long time. After cancelling it says that no photos with imported. I tried it with just one photo and in another catlog but there was no change. 

Hola, Tengo un problema con Lightroom Classic v.15.0.1, no se abre, se queda pensando. Lo he desinstalado y lo he vuelto a instalar y también he instalado una versión anterior pero continua haciendo lo mismo, no se abre. He mirado que no fuera la tarjeta grafica NVIDIA. Pero me dice que Lightroom Classic esta optimizado correctamente con la tarjeta. Alguien me podría ayudar a solucionar el problema.  

I have been facing this problem since some time and even now when the version is 15.0.1 The Brush Tool gets stuck and keeps painting all over even when the mouse is not clicked (left click). There is no other operation possible after this happens. The only option is to kill the application and restart it. Frequency is quite high. Almost every second day !!

Whenever i try to edit a picture in lightroom or i try to apply a preset, the picture deletes or leaves lightroom. What should i do?

Lightroom Classic Metadata conflict errors appeared on thousands of images overnight.  Tried overriding on several hundred.  I do use xmp sidecar files on newer images.  Conflicts happens on both, with and without sidecar files.  Looking for advice.

I need help syncing my photos from Classic to LR so that I can edit on the go. whenever I try to sync a catalog, all my photos from lightroom show up in my Classic Catalog, but none of my photos from Classic apear in Lightroom. The collections I create and sync appear in Lightroom as albums, but without the photos. What can I do to resole this?

I updated my Lightroom classic lastnight before finalizing a clients gallery, and after I did that, ALL of my photos and presents are gone! What happened and how to I bring it back? I am now behind on delivering a gallery to a client because without my photos, I have to restart ALL of the photo edits all over. 

I posted earlier aboutb this issue. Here are the details with screen shots.   I can export the photos in TIFF or Raw, but not in JPG.I tried not to use water mark. Not working. It was working perfectly before.I need JPG for email attachments, and social media posting.Please help.

Some background: Currently have scanned 2,000 of Dad's 5,000 slides. Began a year ago with 20 yr. old Nikon 5000 and 10 yr. old Macbook Pro. Signed up for the Adobe Photographer deal with 20 Gig of cloud. My old Macbook could not run the latest LR version but Adobe came thru with a version it would run.  All fine, until I realized I'd quickly run out of cloud space.  Bought a new I-Mac and converted to LRC, and did not lose any scans in the process. Now I'm using LRC for my own photography and still scanning.  I just took a class on LR editing and was impressed by the instructor and his ability to sync to his phone.  Came home and added LR to my I-phone, Surprised to see my first 982 photos were available on the phone, same photos as on the old laptop. I have turned off sync in LR on the Macbook.  I have not yet turned on sync on the I-Mac. I'm worried the early photos will cause conflict. Do I need to delete the original photos (scans) from the cloud before sy

Greetings all, long time reader here. First time posting. This is going to be a long post, sorry. Just wanted to give as much information as I could . Over the last few updates for Lightroom I have noticed image rendering in the develop moduale getting slower, sometimes 10-15 seconds before it is ready to edit. I have done all of the suggested tips listed in the community and elsewhere. Nothing helped unfortunetly. I run a fairly new home build fast system and confident it is not the bottleneck. After doing all of the mentioned suggestions I could find I concluded I either have a bad Lightroom install or corrupt catolog system files. I have used Lightroom for a long time, maybe even the first version. Over that time I have accumalated about 7 or so different catologs with a total 300k images. I just updated to LR 15.0.1 which was a full update with updated catologs. So I was leaning more towards corrupted catolog files. My concern with any changes was not to loose any edit history. So

Hi thereI have many tens of thousands of images in my various LR Classic catalogs and everything is stored locally on my Macbook Pro M3 hard drive. In total it's taking up over 200 gb of space, most of which is backups and previews. I try to only keep the most recent backup of each catalog but I think the previews are an issue and I need to delete some to free up space. Is there an easy or sensible way to do this? I really only need to keep the previews for the current and recent projects I'm working on. How do I find and delete (or make smaller?) the previews for older folders? And then what happens if I want to go back and edit images from one of those older folders - will it then just recreate the previews at that point?Note that I don't use smart previews as I shoot wildlife and often have to check for details and sharpness at 100%. But it could be good to swap the older previews for smart previews now to free up space?Thanks for your help!

Wenn ich eine Lightroom-Kopie eines Fotos mit einer Farbe markiere, dann wird diese Farb-Kopie nicht zu den anderen Fotos mit derselben Farbe hinzusortiert, sondern sie separat neben dem ursprünglichen, nicht farbmarkierten Foto.  Wenn ich nun von einem Foto mehrere Kopien ziehe (cmd+T) und diese jeweils verschieden farbmarkiere, dann werden sie eben nicht zu der Gruppe der anderen farbmarkierten Fotos hinzugestellt, sondern sie bleiben im unmarkierten Rest der Session. Mit der Folge, dass sie gerne übersehen werden. Was muss ich tun ?

I have a plugin that I'm developing and I'm using a floating dialog. When LrC has either the Library, Map, Slideshow or Web module active, the floating dialog can be brought to the front by clicking on it from the Windows Task bar. The floating dialog will not come to the front when Develop, Book or Print are active. Is there a trick to this? Is there something that I'm missing? Is it as designed? I am having problems with the new lightroom update 15.0.01 (The lightroom assissted culling update). Whenever i am importing images from either my memory card (copy and import) or from my hard drive, just (Add to library) Only 1 or 2 of my images are actually gettting added into my library. i have ticked the option for do not add duplicates checked, and i am able to select all the images i am wanting to import. but they are not actually adding to the library! i keep repeating to pricess and only gaining 1 or 2 images each time. so there must be an issue. when i kept trying this process with the copy and import option through my memory card from the 200+ photos i was wanting, by the time i had actually got all the photos in my library i had over 1200+ photos in that folder on my hard drive!  i am really worried about loosing images when i try to mass import images such as portrait shoots and wedding galleries

correctly installed under Win 11, restarted the system, restarted LR, but profile is not shown when searched for softproofing 

I am using LRC 15.0.1 and I see that the Radial Gradient Mask has no handles to rotate it or change the feather or increase decrease the size.It seems similar problems have been reported a few years back.

I have several folders of lightroom classic catalogs and I am confused.  I would like to have just one folder with the lightroom classic catalogs and backups on an additional drive tha I have.  The original folder which is on my c:drive is cluttering my space and my c: drive is running out of space.  I have a data 😧 drive that is a 2T with space.  Can I merge all my catalogs into one and move it? Thank you so muchGracie
