I'm struggling to figure out how to use Lightroom on my iPad to pick out the images that I want, then delete the images I do not want from files on the iPad.I can delete them from Lightroom and Lightroom albums. But how do I delete themfrom the folder on my iPad? 

Hi, I’ve been trying to find a solution to my issue but haven’t had any luck. I currently have 1TB of cloud storage, but I can’t find an option to purchase additional storage. The “Add Storage” option doesn’t appear on my Manage Plans page, and none of the available upgrade options offer more than 1TB. How am I supposed to continue using Lightroom effectively when 1TB seems to be the maximum storage available? I’d greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions you can provide. Thank you! Best regards,Sari

Hello, i made a simple program to add some tags and write them to a xmp file named same as the image. I have all the xmp files ready to import but i have the images already imported in lightroom, my objective is to only import the xmp files some how, and to add the metadata from them, i have tested with a new image and if i import .cr3 and .xmp files together  the metadata appears with all the edits, so i tested the file works.My only question is how can i import only this meta data to the existing photos in lightroom (normal, not classic) if possible??I would delete all photos and import them again but  some are edited and then i would need to export the dmg and import it with the xmp file risking on losing some data or to any error to appear.i would appreciate your help deeply, thanks and have a nice day!!

I have a folder with +/- 2000 photos. In LR desk top when I click on it, it initally just shows about the first 64 photos. It takes a minute or so fro the rest to show. This happens every time I open the folder, and always opens to the same place. (64 photos). This is more of an anoyance that anything as the rest do show within. a minute of so. Also this happens just on this folder. It is a subfolder of my main photos folder.

 this is what it shows on mine. I even clicked on the three dots in the upper right hand corner, not in pic, and STILL nothing choice for import. PLEASE HELP, I can not find it.

I have been using Lightroom on my iPhone since last summer, I bought presets for it and had so many pictures on it. I decided to try the one week free trial and ever since then everything disappeared. I lost all of my pictures, cannot find any of my many presets, and I don't know what to do. I deleted the app, re-signed into my account, even went on my laptop to try and find these missing pictures and presets. I am so upset, I use these presets for my Instagram and I don't want to have to pay for all of them again.  {Title edited by Moderator for clarity and to aid search queries} 

I was reading up on https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/migrate-photos-aperture.html where it talks about importing old aperture content into lightroom however when I installed lightroom I do not see an option to import aperture archives/libraries. Is this possible in Lightroom? What is the difference between Lightroom and Lightroom classic? I tried to download classic but it does not appear to have an option to download/purchase - it just routes me to lightroom. My goal is to import my old Aperture archives and then re-export to filesystem-based structure to not be locked in to any specific application. If the only option is to upload the entire archive to adobe's cloud thats not going to work for me!

Hi I use LightRoom on my MacbookPro.Since a few days, when I want to work in Lightroom, I get the message that my "Macintosh HD" is full, and that I need to clear space, or change my local storage settings.When I change my local storage settings, nothing changes, so I get the same message again.So I wander where exactly I can clear space? 

I am trying to synch 48GB (781) images. Is there a way to see what is in the queue and being uploaded at the moment? My connection is Fibre to Premises NBN with 300MBPS speed. It has been running for 5 hours so far. When I look at cloud synch I just see "calculating" every time. If I exit LR and run again I see it is has used 564GB or 4TB and is synching 781 files. After a short time it reverts to showing "calculating" I'm not sure if it is uploading any or whether each file is taking 10-15 minutes to upload? In my Windows task manager the LR app is using around 6% of CPU, 16% memory, 1% disk and 0% Network - sometimes I see 0.1% on network activity. My machine has 64GB memory. The hard drive has over 1T available space.  

Hi. Trying to resolve an issue on my wife's LR mobile which she has basically never used.  I have turned off all the collection syncronising in LR classic. Online and in LR classic I see 3.6GB used of cloud storage. However if I go online her library is empty.  In LR classic if I open preferences and go to syncronisation activity it shows a bunch of images as "Image", but they are in a folder that isnt possible to syncronise.  Is there a way to completely delete whatever is in cloud storage so we can start again?  If i try to syncronise new files they just sit spinning its wheels.   Thanks for any advice

When I am pasting my edited settings on another photo, the system freezes and I have to restart LR. Usually this is not an issue. Anyone know a fix? I've done it like 6 times today

I have recently been having problems with Lightroom for Windows 10 not exporting files that it has previously. After letting it attempt to export for over 8 hours twice, and the loading bar not indicating any progress I reinstalled Creative Cloud, Lightroom, and Premiere to no avail. Lightroom will export a 21second 4K vide in under a min but the 3 1/2 min video of the same type will no longer export even after 8+ hours. So far I've updated my GPU, updated Windows,  Checked all my drivers, shut down and restarted my PC,  reinstalled all adobe products, cleared the cache for lightroom and set it to high performance. Also worth noting is its not bottlenecking at all from what I'm seeing in Task Manager as nothing is going over 35% usage at any point. I've been through 3 different chat assistances from Adobe Support and they all couldn't figure it out and just told me to wait longer (as if 8 hours isn't enough) before they abruptly left. My PC Specs:Windows 10 Hom

I have on several occasions  wanted to go back to a mask I have made in Lightroom CC on my ipad and edit it.   When I select the mask layer the previous mask flashes showing it's original shape then disappears which makes it difficult to make changes to it. Is there a way of keeping the mask outline permanently on while editing?

Hello, I want to install the app on my iphone 6 but it just says it's for iOS 13 and later and I don't think it gets to iOS 13. My phone is iOS 12.5.1 there is no way to install it??     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Until a few months back, I was able to simply select any photo from any album in the app and share-download or share-export to get it on my device. Then, I started getting the same error on every attempt. See screenshot. I let go and assumed the bug would be fixed and the problem would go away by itself... not so... Pls help   Note   -this happens with every photo, not just a few -clearing the cache does not help -reinstalling the app does not help -yes, the device has ample storage left and is up to date -I presume storage permission is ok, as there is no toggle   Seems people have ben having this issue since at least 2018??   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. I downloaded the updated version of Lightroom today. Immediately when I started using it, my laptop began to consistently freeze up. The longer I stayed in LIghtroom, the more it kept freezing. Sometimes taking up to a minute to unfreeze so i cn get back to work. This was never an issue until the updated version. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? ANd tips on what i can do?  Can I go back to the older version if this can't be resolved?

I logged in to do some old client work and I had been ZEROED! All of my cloud based work....GONE Every folder was there...but 0 files. All gone. Months and months of hours gone, work that needs to be redone. A nice enough agent tried to help me but couldn't understand the problem and left the case open. ADB-37369768-M8G7. I tried to take it further via e-mail and ended up in a loop. Getting frustrated by an agent who wanted to start at the beginning...but I had an open case, so whats the point? After 20 minutes of holding with Kevin he just said, sorry bud, shifts over, I'm gone...but wait online, clearly a deliberate brushoff. Anyway, another hour of time wasted with no results but more emails to continue the loop. After this call I then discover that all of my personal presets were gone too. Styles developed over a few years. So basically everything entrusted to be kept safe by Adobe has been wiped out and I am just left frustrated by having to waste mor

It's been almost 7 years since the first posts on the automatic facial recognition software in LR picking up things thatt aren't people, and missing actual people, and we still don't have a way to manually override this.

Every time I import photos into Lightroom mobile and open them to edit, Lightroom automatically adjusts the photo immediately to add a bit more vibrancy and saturation, not shown in the vibrancy and saturation adjustment bars. When the photo is exported this 'auto adjust' doesn't go with it so I'm left with a slightly duller picture than what was shown in Lightroom after editing. Any advice on why it does this and how I can stop it from doing so? I'm on a Google Pixel 7 Pro if that helps. I've also just tried to do a screen record to demonstrate this, but it doesn't show up on the recording! No idea what this is about and it's frustrating as my finished edit is not what I get when exporting!

I am using a 2015 macbook pro and cannot update to the most current light room edition. You used to be able to select an older version in creative cloud manager. However that option doesnt seem to exist. Am I missing something?

So new to Lightroom universe, I downloaded Lightroom instead of LRC. Now I am stuck with a bunch of folders that Lightroom downloaded for me.... Applications Documents Desktop....you get the picture.   I downloaded LRC after a technician explained to me why I was not seeing what LRC users see. I really want to delete Lightroom, but would very much like to transfer the images trapped there into LRC. First problem is the directions indicate I should see a minus sign to indicate delete....nope. Then I should have a hard drive with sufficient capacity to HOLD ALL THOSE IMAGE files in one gulp. I actually do, but thanks to Lightroom I will spend hours sorting them, then loading into LRC, apparently one at a time since the migrate from button does NOT appear in LRC.   Why did Adobe do this to first time buyers of their Lightroom plans? I am using lightroom mobile android version. After editing my pictures are not getting saved. It is the current version of app in Android and I check the available space and sync all are good...how to fix this?
