I'm using Lightroom Mobile on my iPad and am using the cloud-based ecosystem and desktop app (so all my library including RAW files are synced online). I am trying to clean up storage on my iPad to determine if I can live with a smaller storage amount when I upgrade. In the process, I'm trying to reduce the size of my Lightroom Library in the mobile app. It's over 70GB with over 33,000 photos synced for offline access. I think that number is high, and I've been able to identify at least some photos seem to be keeping the RAW file stored locally instead of stored in the cloud. There are photos that were last edited over a year ago that still have the RAW file stored locally. My current troubleshooting efforts:Confirmed "Only download smart previews" is turned onCache size limit is 10GBI have cleared the cacheTried offloading and reloading the app(I have not tried deleting the app, as I don't want to have to resort to that every time I need to clear out raw files.) Despite

Crop tool will not move smoothly whn cropping an rotating an image with masks on it. Trying to crop an image with basic brush masks in order to test compositions. It jumps and stutters. switching to an image basically identical to it will enable very smooth cropping.  I have a video to showcase this issue if needed, however it is too big to upload

If I turn on the camera through the camera shortcut widget created by the user on the home screen or start screen rather than the app icon, I cannot take pictures by pressing the volume button. However, if I access the camera using the icon or turn on the camera through a widget while the app has already been launched, I can use the volume button to take pictures.So to check for errors, delete Lightroom from the list of recently used apps and then access the camera shortcut widget.Thanks.

Hello,  I have been trying to use lightroom recently and have been having issues my laptop is updated to win 11 and isnt displaying the photos on the app but when in browser it shows the images I had "the graphics processor as encountered an unrecoverable error." show up and I reset my preferances, updated graphics card, deleted and reinstalled lightroom, and cleared the cache. I am still finding the images either not loading or showing up as a white image in the side view i can see the photos are existing and browser mode supports the proof of the images existing. I have a premium Lightroom subscription but when I login to my account on my iPad it doesn't detect my subsciption. Does anyone have a solution? 

I recently upgraded my phone to the iphone 16 pro, and all of sudden my photos when added to lightroom are automatically now adjusting to be brighter when i go to apply a preset now. Its really odd and way overexposed before adding a preset. I went to import settings and clicked Camera Settings and clicked off HDR. I just have no idea what to do.

I subscribed lightroom with premium, But some features not enabled to use like 'Select subject' and more subscribers features.Please, enable the features to continue my creations.

Mi actualización de Lightroom (8.0) Ha dejado de funcionar correctamenteDescargue la nueva actualización hace como una semana y al abrirla tarda demasiado en abrir y despues al querer hacer edición con mascaras especificamente en las mascaras se queda congelado y no abre ni cierra la aplicación. Revise si era complatible con mi ordenador y es compatible, abro otras aplicaciones como Photoshop, Indesign o Illustrator y funcionan perfectamente las nuevas actualizaciones.Tengo unas 1,500 fotos subidas a la nube de Lightroom, no se si sea por eso.AYUDA 

For some reason no matter what photo I click on, it doesn't let me access the tools to edit it. I can slide the toolbar back and forth but nothing I do allows me to actually use the tools at the moment

I'm trying to develop my application using the lightroom api. I'm attempting to test locally with a react app on port 3000 but when I try to use the redirect URI I've been getting all kinds of issues.  When following the docs, it says you can use https://localhost/redirect/ as the redirect URI but when I try this, I get an error like this:  I'm able to use 127.0.0.1 instead of localhost along with the port, but when I try to save the following config, I get a useless error. I tried deleting the project to start fresh, but it won't let me delete the project even after removing the lightroom API.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Does anyone know why I can't search for an image by name or tag in the Lightroom app?

Lightroom for Mac OS, all latest updates for both Lightroom and Mac OS, File name: DSC02784I want to find it. I input 2784 - in search - result "Black Hole" no, resultsI input 02784 - file found.One question only, why you had enough time  to come up with some fancy messages like oh-oh black hole, but you could not find search actually work as a proper search should?

Ich suche noch immer im Zuschneide-Menü, ob es nicht doch wo versteckt die Funktion gibt um ein Bild um 90° zu drehen, oder zu spiegeln. Natürlich kann ich das im Photoshop machen, ist aber umständlich, wenn ich gerade im Lightroom arbeite und extra das Programm wechseln muss.Manche Bilder würden viel besser wirken wenn sie statt im Hoch- im Querformat stehen.Hat jemand eine Idee dazu?

I am trying to use the new "Edit In" feature for the LR cloud version with Topaz apps. My photos successfully export to Topaz but I always get a "No Edits Made" error window. I could always manually import the edits, but that is basically the workflow prior to the Edit In feature. I couldn't find any support topics on this issue. Anyone familiar with the parameters to get LR to recognize the edited files or what I'm doing wrong here?  Additional details:-My LR library is on an external drive.-I tried saving the edited image from Topaz in the LR library folder (external drive) as well as other locations on my internal drive.

On my new laptop with windows11 24h2, LR keeps crashing on the start up phase.  With  log:"<crash exception="EXCEPTION_ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION" exceptionCode="0xc000001d" instruction="0x000000002041C2D7">" Only v14 has this problem, v13 was working well. After 2 weeks' struggling, finally find out it is cause by 7-zip. After uninstall 7-zip, everything is working now. 

I have a Mac Studio M1 running Sonoma and several external SSDs. I am in the process of leaving LR Classic and using LR for Mac exclusively. I have dragged across all my photos from Classic to albums in LRfM so that I now have all my edited originals in the Adobe cloud (635GB) as well as originals in an external SSD. I am dismayed to find that previews are kept in the PICTURES folder in Lightroom Library.lrlibrary. This is now running at 250GB. I simply do not have enough room on my home drive for this! Yet LRfM does not give me any options to keep this library on an external SSD! How can I force LRfM to allow me to keep previews externally, since without this option I will be unable to add any new photos at all.
