Hi everyone! New to the group. Seeking some advice... I have a B&W photo that I'd love to convert to color. Are there any Lightroom experts here who could share some tips on how to achieve a natural-looking color conversion? Thanks in advance!

Ive seen people post about LR having other internal errors, but I am not finding one with my error message so I am posting it here and asking for some help! Lightroom failed to initialize due to an internal errorlogin server error 'nil: Unable to create directory. You don't have permission to save the file "user" in the folder "Lightroom Library.Irlibrary" Above is the error message I get EVERY time I try and open LR. Lightroom is a new program we are about to use but I can not even get the program to open. I have never used the program before so there shouldnt be a catalog. After selecting ok on the error message, LR just force closes. Even after uninstalling and then installing it again, I get the exact same error message and force quit. Are there any solutions to this? I am on a 2019 Macbook running MacOS Ventura 13.2. Its a company laptop and its managed but all Mac users have admin rights. Not sure if that helps or not. Thanks in advace!

Não faz sentido algum esse bug, pois eu tenho praticamente 1.5TB de SSD livre para comportar o download, e 1TB de HD vazio também, e o programa simplesmente não quer dar prosseguimento ao meu download, já desinstalei e reinstalei ele umas 3 vezes e simplesmente não funciona, e eu não estou afim de ter que entrar no Lightroom Web e ter que clicar em todas as mais de 1000 fotos que tenho 1 por 1 para realizar o download, por favor consertem este programa!

Bonjour J'ai un soucis avec LR Classic sur mon Iphone 15 pro.En voyage je prends des photos avec l'appareil photo de l'appli LR.Remarque : le changement d'objectif est moins fluide qu'avec l'appareil de l'iphone mais je fais avec car les images sont réglées par défaut au format que je souhaite (3X2) et pas avec celui d'Apple et géolocalisées ce qui est parfait, mais ...j'ai eu un bug par moment ou a chaque changement d'objectif l'image devient folle alternant tres rapidemment les formats, les alignements horizontal/vertical ou je ne sais quoi. Difficile d'expliquer et encore plus de montrer.Le pire c'est que c'est aléatoire, par moment tout va bien, à d'autres pour une raison que j'ignore c'est permament et je suis obligé de sortir de la fonction appareil photo pour y revenir.Merci pour votre aide

How do I get my watermark on exported photos after editing in Lightroom Mobile? I can't find it anywhere and it should be a basic feature of the app that I pay $9.99 a month for.

In der LR App für iOS kann ich keine Kamera finden um direkt aus der App photos zu machen.  Version 10.4.1iphone 14 max pro. 

According to everything I've read, I should change the interface by following the Adobe Lightroom > Preferences > Interface and finding a dropdown menu that allows me to toggle the color scheme for the UI. But it is nowhere to be seen, and I've tried searching the support forums for help, to no avail. Can anyone tell me what's going on?  I'm on a MacOS Sequoia 15.5.

LR version: V10.4.4 on androidOS: Android 15 on Samsung z fold 5Steps: Edit any photo. Filter by edited status. The recently edited photo does not appear instantly.  Expected result:Hi,I do understand edits need to be uploaded and takes time. In some tests, I waited until it's all uploaded, and made sure there isn't loading/upload animation icon. Then applied the filter. The last few edited photos still didn't appear in the filtered list.After waiting for a minute or less, they did appear when filter is applied again.Some might say I can just wait for a minute. But who can guarantee that a minute is enough?If I have a total of 100 photos, and edited some 50 photos (but don't remember the number), how would I ensure the filtered list would show all the edits I have made? Seeing thr last edited photo is the way? Well, I am not sure if I am missing some earlier photos.Eventually, why don't you use local photo status when this filter is applied? Hi, I'm new to Lightroom (i'm using the new LR, not LR classic). Earlier today i had the information overlays with camera information showing when browsing photos. But now it's gone somehow and I can't figure out how to get the info overlay to appear again. I can see the info overlay in the iOS iphone and iPad app but not in the Desktop or Web version.  Please help. The below picture shows the info overlay info that i'm missing.

Please can someone tell me how to turn off the help pop ups in Lightroom. They are incredibly obtrusive and get in the way all the time. I know they are supposed to gradually show less over time but after 12 months of using Lightroom for 2-3 hours per day they are still showing. I don't need or want them. Please tell me there is a simple off button somewhere.

After the latest update 8.4 when uploading more than 1 photo to the album the app will display the preview before adding but only one photo is actually sent to the album. If you try to send the second photo again but manually the app will block saying that it has already being added. Restarting the macbook or the app wont solve the problem. Hello all,   I have lost a fairly important amount of pictures on my lightroom app (iOs) since I used lightroom cc online (being  away I had to consult it from another computer).   Has this already happened to any of you and is there a way to fix it ? At least 10 000 pictures disappeared and I'm nicely freaking out.   Thanks in advance for your help Aurelie

The border customisation that appear once you select watermark is no longer selectable with this rev 10.4.3. However the worse part is even if you deselect watermark and share or save to device the photo, it adds in the border from the previous setting ie width and color..If you now select photos from the grid to share the old settings made before this revision appears. See two attached screenshots.

I spent a lot of time editing an image in Lightroom (Mac v8.4).  Global edits and masking.  I made sure it synced to the cloud.  I came back a few days later to make some adjustments.  Again made sure it synced.  I published it to the community.  Then, I closed Lightroom, and opened Lightroom Classic so it could sync there and then publish it to Flickr (yes, I still use that).  Lightroom Classic (v14.4) removed all my edits and masks, then synced that back to Lightroom.  Now my edits are all gone!  Is there a way to recover this?  The image in the Community still shows as the edited version.  Sure, I could re-create the edits based off that, but re-doing the masks is going to be a pain.  Why is syncing so broken?!?

I'm running Lightroom 8.4 on an M1 Macbook Pro under Sequoia (15.5). And I'm scanning hundreds of old(er) slides and print photos, so of course "capture date" and that sort of thing is based on the day/time that I'm scanning. I'd love to be able to select 20 or 30 images at a time and apply a single date, or even title, or description in the metadata of those images. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do this in Lightroom, though, as I understand it, this exists in Lightroom Classic. What are the chances that this can be developed? Or, if I'm missing something obvious (I have searched!), please let me know.

I am having a serious problem with Lightroom which started about a week ago.I am running Lightroom 8.4.I have about 20,670 photos in the cloud using 143.2 GB of my 1TB allocation.My 2022 Mac Studio has an Apple M1 Max chip, 32 GB of memory running Sequoia 15.5.A Speedtest of my Internet connection is currently showing about 900 Mbps down and 870 Mbps up. My desktop Lightroom has been showing “Syncing items” for about a week now. It started after I tried to reset the star ratings and flags on all my images.Response is very slow, especially when closing Lightroom and loading grid view. No photos show any metadata when I select the Info icon and all show “Syncing Metadata…” However closing Lightroom and reopening on the same image will show metadata for that image. Similarly, some photos show greyed out sliders for editing but this is not consistent. Closing Lightroom and reopening on the same image will show active sliders. These last two issues might be a result of the sl

I am about to purchase the Lightroom plan. I would appreciate some guidance please. If I save images within LrC on my hard drive or document folder on my Mac Mini would the images also be saved on Adobe web site and be counted against the 1TB within the Light room plan? Thank You

The denoise function doesn't seem to be functioning properly.  When I try to apply it to a picture I'm editing, it looks like it finishes but, nothing on the picture changes.  In addition, after using denoise, the other editng functions (e.g., exposure, contrast, highlights, etc.) stop working too.  Any ideas?

Since I made the update of LR , Noise Reduction with AI does not accept my photo Nikon RAW.I use it for long time ans now it is not working because does not accept or recognize my picture format. It is NEF and no problem except from tomorow update 8.2.Do you have the same problem ?

Reading the forum for a few minutes, I have seen a post that lens corrections may be only when the image is stored as RAW format.  For a Canon EF-S 18-135mm lens, is this the case?

Hi - does the photo prepaid bundle with Lightroom & Photoshop not exist anymore??I only use Photoshop like 5 times a year when I can't solve a problem in Lightroom, not worth getting the entire bundle or an extra PS stand alone :((  

I try to edit photos but all marks of the movements stays  on the photo when I try to save or on presets. Really annoying. Talk to support few days ago but only told to reinstall. It helped for 1 day. Any advice what it could be? Thank you
