How can I remove photos from an album that was shared with me? My organization hosted an event and we were hoping to use Lightroom to sort/remove any pictures that we didn't need, and then just edit within Lightroom, however we can't seem to figure out how to remove the pictures as collaborators with editing permissions. Would appreciate any help!

Hi,We're looking at shifting at least partially from LrC to Lightroom. Looking at the naming options for exporting, it looks very cut down in Lightroom compared to LrC. I tried to use variables in the Custom Name field but they came out verbatim, not as variable results. I tried this syntax: myname - {Filename} Is it really so that we can't use any variables in this Custom Name? Or am I missing something, is there another way of doing this? Rgds, Björn

I wanted to ask if someone has experienced something similar before saying its a bug. So I wanted to crop an image from its original specs (8192 x 5464) to a 1:1 square image.   However once I am done with the crop, lightroom seems to be doing an additional step which changes the image (it seems more stretched than it was when i did the crop).    Original Image:   The moment I select 1:1 overlay, the image is already stretched horizontally. You can see the difference in how the leaf and the bird looks in image 1 (no crop mode) vs 2.     And once i complete the crop, it changes to square but it takes parts that are not in that square also in the image. Refer image below.   A similar issue is also happening on another image where I am trying to crop and rotate. I cannot get it to rotate to the position I want because the angle keeps changing (significantly) after the crop action is over.

Hello,I'm encountering a critical issue with Lightroom Web on my Windows computer. The loading screen hangs indefinitely, and the browser console shows this error:Uncaught RangeError: Failed to execute 'postMessage' on 'DedicatedWorkerGlobalScope': Maximum call stack size exceededat acr_web.min.js (loaded from CloudFront)Details:- Happens on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)- Cache cleared, incognito, extensions disabled – nothing helps- LocalStorage cleared manually- Hardware acceleration disabled- GPU drivers updated- SFC/DISM Windows scans done- Re-installed browsers – no changeThe problem started recently and disrupts my entire workflow — I can only access Lightroom via my phone, which is not viable for professional use.Could Adobe please investigate whether this is a bug in the latest `acr_web.min.js` version? Is it possible to roll back, patch it, or provide a configuration workaround?Happy to provide system info, logs, screenshots, or remote session if needed.Thank you!

I have just started using Lightroom after switching over from Lightroom Classic which has become unusable on my PC.   I am a bit confused which regards to copying to cloud. If I copy images to the cloud it saves a local full res copy on my c drive or in my case I've go it to save to a second internal drive on my laptop. Then I move them to a collection in cloud and that syncs with the cloud so I can view and edit on my iPad. I am then able to delete the versions of the files that have been copied to the internal drive on my laptop.It's weird as the files are already local on an external HDD so I don't understand why they have to be copied to my internal drive to then get copied to the cloud. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

How to find images that do not have keywords in Lightroom desktop not lightroom Classic.Sorry if I should have found it from documentation

Hi! I had the basic subscription, and have paid up consistently for years. I took a break from photography for a while, and during that time I guess my storage ran out and a decent number of really important photos were deleted. I've upgraded my storage today, but can't recover the photos through the basic troubleshooting steps I found online. Fairly desperate to see whether there's any way I can get them back.

I am having a problem since a couple of weeks. When I try to export a photo after assigning Meta Data (keywords) the following quiet often occurs:-- The first export attempt does nothing and shows no error and no export is performed. No progress bar is shown.-- The second attempt brings the error shown below. Two progress bars are shown. -- The third attempt performs the export. When it happens, it always takes three attempts after adding keywords. The indicator for a process in progress (upper left screen corner) is not shown. My catalog and Output are on two seperate USB drives which have up until now, never been a problem.I have updated my ZOTAC GeForce RTX 4080 driver. Trying to export a video file from my drone to upload to a social media platform....the file size is about 480mb......it just keeps saying  "exporting video" and never exports....IS there a place for me to change the file size? Ive alrerady chopped it down a bit, but still no go........Any advice?ThanksRich 

So my pc is literally just used for lightroom I don't leave any photos on it i have them on external HDs  The last few days lightroom has been really laggy and everytime I try to use remove tool it may let me start bit it freezes and the only way out is ending the task.  Ive un-installed and reinstalled etc any ideas? Im windows user. 

I have a problem with lightroom. Two applications start on my account. Sometimes one and sometimes the other. I have different photos on each of them. How can I combine them into one? I have already tried uninstalling lightroom and reinstalling it but the problem persists.

Heyo. I am simply trying to select all my photos in Lightroom CC on a Mac using command a and it's not working. How can I select all my photos? I know I can select the first image and then hold shift as I click the last image and this selects everything inbetween, but it saves time when you don't have to constantly scroll.

I clicked 'Give Feedback' from lightroom and I guess this is where that happens. Do real people even read this anymore? I have been using photoshop and lightroom since the early 2000's. As a teenager I would lock myself in the home office and spend countless hours tinkering and creating goofy little art projects. As I jumped into the world of photography I was not initially a fan of lightroom, but as the product developed I was eventually won over. Both were robust products that genuinely cutting edge and I would have had a hard time finding faults with, at least for what they were at the time. Somehow that's all changed and I have been paying more than ever for a product that has pared down it's features and takes up to 30 seconds to zoom in on a photo that is stored locally on an up-to-date piece of hardware. Hi all,  I use Lr (NOT Classic) locally with an external drive – my photos are not stored in the Cloud, and I'm on the latest version of MacOS 15.4.1. After downloading the latest update last week (8.3), every time I open Lr, I get an error message that says "Some AI edits need to be recomputed." When I click Update, it generates new edits and I basically lose all my work / previous edit I had made. I have not made a single change to my set up. The only change was updating to 8.3.  Expected behavior: make edits to a photos using the remove tool, heal tool etc.. quit Lr, when I re-open Lr, the edits are there, just like I left them.  This problem existed in previous versions of Lr, then it all worked perfectly in 8.2 (not sure about 8.1), and broke again in 8.3.  The only fix was to re-install 8.2.  Has anyone else experienced this? Posting this here hoping it's investigated as a bug and addressed in 8.4. Thank you. 

Hallo zusammen, ich habe ein neues Iphone und habe die App Lightroom mobile erneut heruntergeladen. Auf meinem alten Handy hatte ich ein Abonnement abgeschlossen. Nun wollte ich mich mit meinem neuen Handy bei Lightroom über die App anmelden. Mein Abonnement wird aber nicht mehr angezeigt und meine ganzen Bilder in der Cloud sind WEG! Über Abonnements und Käufe bei meiner Apple ID kann ich mein Abo aber sehen! Es besteht immernoch ein Abonnement WO sind meine ganzen Bilder und wieso ist mein Zugang nicht auf Premium freigeschaltet obwohl ich ein Abonnement habe ! Auf meinem alten Hanfy komme ich jetzt auch nicht mehr in die App mit der Premiumfunktion rein!!! Die App erkennt aber dass ein Abonnement vorhanden ist! Sobald ich mich aber einlogge kommt nichts !!! Bitte dringend um eine Antwort. Danke

I got the Asuss Proart PA279cv Monitor. The color and contrast range is great imo. My problem is that when im editing on it, and I switch light room from it to another monitor, or upload the photo to facebook, the photo is about two stops too bright even though it looks great on the monitor. I know all monitors are not equal, but I feel that I should at least be putting out product that matches most viewing devices like Iphones etc. M questions is I know there is a standard, but should i be looking for a work around instead? I have my color profile set to sRGB IEC30633-2.1 Any help on this would be apprecited.  

My Import folders keep disappearing, super annoying not getting my photos imported and having to set them up again. The issue seems to be as straight forward as it is dumb:If I add another folder to the "watch list" for the auto import feature, every previous folder NOT containing any images at this moment will be removed, if I add a new one. So whenever I want to add a new folder, I first have to make sure that every other older folder I want to keep, also still contains a raw image file (as I use get raw only). Super annoying, of course these folders are usually empty, that's what I'm using Lightroom for. Creating a few garbage raw files, putting them in all the folders I want to survice the "add new folder" procedure  and the removing them from Lightroom because the whole point of these was to work around a bug just sucks. Please get your basic features to work reliable.

Has anyone used the gnerative remove extra people tool?  I can't seem to get it to work and I think it's using all my credits.  lol. Not sure if it's user error, a wrong setting somewhere or a bug.  It will detect the extra people but not delete them.    Thx.

Hi there 😊 I am no longer able to access any presets via web (no recommend, premium or my own presets). It's working on my phone, but suddenly presets are no longer available via web Lightroom. I have created a free trail on a different account to see if I'd working and it does. So I figured out it's something to do with my account.I am having this issue after I have imported couple of presets from someone else.Can you please advise me how can I solve the issue to get access to to presets?

Hello!I have an active mobile Lightroom subscription purchased via the App Store, but the premium features (such as healing, selective editing, RAW editing, etc.) remain locked.Here’s what I’ve already tried:1. I signed in with the correct Adobe ID linked to my subscription.2. I used the “Restore Purchases” option in the app.3. I restarted my phone.4.
