Is there a way to save a jpeg image to TIFF in batch action without the 'save as' windows popping up?Let's say I'm batching an action that creates an additional layer to the jpeg images. But it halts the action with 'save as' windows popping up.Is there a script that I can add to my existing actions to bypass this and save them as layered TIFF automatically?

Running Ps v 26.9.0 on Mac OS 15.6 and as the title suggests, only Ps is not operating as it should (surprise surprise with Adobe these days). The "wait state" for min, resize and closing is terrible. I'm not looking for "work-arounds" I'm looking for a fix from Adobe, as we all here pay for this headache s/w. I get enough headaches from clients and the missus... Regards

In Camera Raw i cannot see ‘open picture in Photoshop’ or ‘open object in Photoshop’ after i copied Photoshop to another drive. How to fix that?

For some reason, recently....photoshop now zooms in and out to the center of the artboard.  This is not behavior that makes any sense or is needed.  Wasting a lot of time on this.  Im paying 70 bucks a month this shouldnt be a stupid issue I need it to work properly like it used too. Animated Zoom ON/OFF doesnt workZoom clicked to center ON/OFF does not workZoom resizes window (need this option ON)Zoom with scroll wheel (this works but the window doesnt resize...so it doesnt work) Why are these behaviors different now? I need a zoom in/out to stay focused on the area im working on and NOT default to the center of the artboard.  That is such a stupid behavior.  Just stupid. PS version: 26.9.0Windows 10

I have 3 monitors and use an ASUS 32 inch monitor - for editing.It's about 40 inches away from my eyes.Running Windows with Photoshop v26.9***Making selections with the Polygonal Lasso Tool >This has bothered me - for MANY years... 😞When I'm about to complete a 'selection', a "TINY" circle should appear - to indicate a "connection".This circle - at 40 inches - is about 1/32 or 1/64 inch in size...!Quite often, I'm clicking that Left Mouse Button [many times] - hoping for "success".Here's my request >First - get rid of that 'circle'...!I know this could be 'hard' - because even the 'programmers' have a hard time seeing it... 🙂Second - when the Lasso Tool is in the closing 'zone' - fill the LARGE interior of the tool pointer - with "RED" color.Or some other "contrasting color" - depending on the background...When that Tool becoming RED - just _one_ simple little 'click' - and it's DONE.This would make my editing LIFE so much easier, faster, better, less frustrating,

I have searched for the exact state of interoperability of .PSD files that were created and then saved to a shared drive space on my NAS (on local netork.) I have an M3 (2024) Mac on current Sequoia. NTFS ->MacOS format issue, right? Have to be able both read *and* write to these Photoshop files. Most of my editing will be on a Windows 11 Pro tower across the office, but from time to time will want to work elsewhere.  I use the Adobe Photography plan and the Mac is the second computer on the license. I created a mapped drive for the two windows machines and a the mounted drive in Finder. (I believe I have some Permissions settings to fix because the mounted drive in Finder does not display the mapped drive's files, but that's not my most important question today.) "NTFS for Mac" Paramount -> I have other Paramount software products, so will buy a license to their file format tranlation product if that is the route that other cross-platform editing users follow.&nbs

Hello forum!   This is my first post here, so please be patient if my question seems out of date. I've been using Adobe's CS5 since 2010 (yikes!) and have never had an issue using it until about a week ago. All other programs (Illustrator, InDesign) work fine and with out any problems, but suddenly I started to have issues with the Photoshop program where is would moderately work (about 3 minutes or so), then crash, to now opening and then crashing immediately. I'm on a MacBook Air (Mid 2012 • Processor GHz Intel Core i72 • Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB) running on macOS Mojave. Obviously, I just recently upgraded to macOS Mojave, but have been using CS5 for about 2 weeks before I started having issues, so I don't readily know if the OS is causing conflicts with the application. Additionally, I tried uninstalling the entire suite, then reinstalling, but it didn't fix anything with the Photoshop portion of CS5.   Any advice to problem ASAP (I've got deadlines!) would

Hola!Por algún motivo no veo la herramienta cortar / rotar en mi Camera Raw 17.4.2 ni en Photoshop 26.9 ni en la Beta 26.10, y activada en Previsualización de Teconología la casilla "Nueva funciones de IA", en su lugar aparece la herramienta Geometría. No puedo activarla ni con (R) ni con (C) ni de ninguna otra manera.Gracias!Diego

Hello. I'm learning Photoshop in a practical at university where I have to create a grassy environment. The brief says "Choose the Brush Tool, and have the shape Grass. Paint a line just below the horizon. Increase the Brush Size a bit, then draw another line of grass below the previous one. Continue down the image, increasing Brush Size as you go." However neither I nor my lecturer have been able to find the Grass option. I have the latest CC 2018. Can anyone help?Kind RegardsEmma

Like above, im literally going crazy with this and spend hours trying to find solution. Im not gonna buy a dumb printer to fix this sudden photoshop error so it CAN connect and stop crashing. Why this billion dollar company can;t make a one software right? did anyone find solution to this when you DON'T have any printer and none is connected??? I saw old posts but they all have printers  using windows, I did reinstall, did remove all preferencases and reinstalled. Only time it works when i make new ffile annd cant open any currently working on, everything else is crashing.

Specifically, I want to: Remove backgrounds cleanly and replace them with white or transparent backgrounds Adjust lighting, shadows, and colors to make the images look more professional Resize and optimize the images for web use without losing quality I’m not very advanced in Photoshop, so I would really appreciate some guidance or tutorials on the best practices for editing eCommerce product images. Are there any recommended tools, actions, or presets that can speed up this process? Thanks in advance!

I have a picture of a Harley i just make a selection around. I need the background gone and just have the bike. I used the Remove Background and it didn't remove everything. Can someone help me?

I have been working on my portfolio pages on various Illustrator files. Then I've put the exported jpegs from the illustrator to photoshop mockup file. However, one of the pages exported with a white line from illustrator so I changed the export option from type optimized to art optimized. After I put the art optimized image to photoshop, the file appeared with marks of various colors. Now, eventhough I've deleted the jpeg files, the photoshop file is still corrupted. I have no idea how to fix it. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

When drawing with a brush/eraser/stamp, a Windows arrow cursor appears and then disappears. Does anyone know how to solve this?

On an image sent to phtoshop via Lightrooms "Edit In" I can save it back to the original folder using Command - S keyboard shortcut and it will save in PSD format.  However, when I am on my MacBook Pro and using the same workflow it saves as a Tiff.  What do I need to do in order to save the file as a PSD on my MacBook Pro?

Hi there,   I have created the pins around an object but there's no way I wan move anything. I have tried Alt + left mouse button; Ctrl + left mouse button but nothing; all the above with right mouse button; nope, nothing is moving. I didn't change anything at the settings of the tool, they are the default.   I am using the 26.9.0 version.

That's good. Thanks once more. Now if Adobe will just restore the the "merged" snapshot option in Photoshop. 

I know thta A.I is on Photoshop with Firefly 3 and on  web with Firefly 4. But on Photoshop you could begin with a high resolution document decently sized whereas on the web you are limited by size and resolution. So I would expect soon to have model Firefly 4 soon on Photoshop.  Another sugestion, on the Style and Composition buttons /windows I would expect that if I click on the small preview I could enlarge it to give me an idea of which file of mine I have used

I get this message when I try to open a specific PSB file. It worked fine last night, and I don't have any problems with any other file. I changed machine, and the problem persists.I've looked for a lot of solutions online. Disabling "Use graphics processor" doesn't work. I can't open it with Photopea because it's a large file with multiple canvas. I reset my preferences, updated the software, uninstalled and reinstalled... I don't know what to do anymore, and I really need this file. It's large, 3GB, but I can open much larger ones. Any ideas?Thank you  

Hello,I have noticed a rather odd bug while testing OCIO workflows in PS 26.8.1. I was able to confirm this by using an EXR that required color management and a baked-in look version in TIFF. When viewing the files on my Eizo CG2700X and using the Eizo produced ICC profile (Built through color navigator 7) the OCIO EXR version had a contrast shift to the TIFF. Not really gamma shift but a more a contrast shift. And it's apparent on the whole UI. Now when I move the PS window tto another screen the issue dissapears. Also, I have noticed that at times the whole ui and iage would flicker when moving the mouse. ICC profile can be downladed here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1kaUetRVyxSIMEtsE8w4_DQvUFswysUHj?usp=sharing Would be great to get some feedback from the devs on this.  Thanks!

When performing a ’save’ or ’save as’, the filename window no longer auto highlights. I’m used to hitting save or save as and immediately start typing the filename without looking up. Now though, I start typing the filename then notice it's not highlighted, so I either have to move the cursor to the filename box or hit the tab key 3 times to highlight the file name.
