PS 26.2.0MacOS running SequoiaThis is a VERY niche problem - I am using Photoshop for drawing storyboards.  I will use a LAYER EFFECT of COLOR OVERLAY/SCREEN on the previous layer to then draw the next pose of a character on the layer above it.  I will then either turn off the COLOR OVERLAY or try and delete it on the previous layer.  Then SAVE the file.When I go to open the file again, often ALL of those LAYER EFFECTS will be turned on, and I have to go back in physically and turn them off or delete them. I SAVE the file again......then they're back ON again when I open the file again!  HOW CAN I STOP THIS FROM HAPPENING!?!-Christian

Hello, I am receiving an error message on startup each time I try to open Adobe Photoshop 2025. It says "Adobe Photoshop 2025 quit unexpectedly. This report will be sent automatically to Apple." I've tried restarting the computer a couple times and can't get it to open at all. I attached the report details below that I got when I hit show details as well as a screenshot. Please help! I am not able to see the version of Photoshop I have other than that it is 2025. So I know how to warp text along a custom path. But the thing is while writing text on a path, the characters also tilt along the path, I want them to be straight like when using "warp text". Is there anyway to do that? Thanks in advance.  Here is what I'm talking about. The characters of the text along the path is tilted along the path while the "warp" below are still straight up.

I'm using Photoshop 25.9.3 with Win10pro, 64-bit.  Every time I start it I get a message that my graphics processor is incompatible but I just close that message and go on.  I have not used Photoshop for several months but it has always worked until now.  Today I can open a jpg file but the mouse pointer is a ‘No’ logo. Clicking on an image produces this error message:"Could not complete your request because it only works with OpenGL document windows." What is OpenGL?  How do I get an OpenGL window?  Or how do I revert to an older version of Photoshop that will work like it always has?  Thanks, JRS

Hi everyone,I have a problem with my brush settings.Since yesterday all my brushes have the same settings. If I am making a change on one brush the next brush will have the same setting, even when the locks are unchecked.I can not find a way to solve this issue, so that every brush has their own settings again without affecting each other.Does someone have an answere for this problem?

HI  I'm using the latest update to PS, on a Mac, which is also completely updated. I am only using 1 screen as I have seen there were issues with two screens. Currently, my eye-dropper/color picker is not working and hasn't been for about a month. I have also tried rebooting the Mac, signing in and signing out of PS, to no avail. Suggestions please? It's really slowing down my workflow.Thanks,Toni

After processing my file in ACR and opening it as a smart object in Photoshop, I can't reopen the original raw file in ACR by double clicking on the smart object icon.  Photoshop crashes each time I try.  Everything is on the latest versions and is updated.  I am using Windows 11 and it is also up to date. Update:  I finally fought the Adobe Customer Care bot long enough that it thankfully put me in contact with a person.  The Customer Care Rep had control of my pc and tried all kinds of things and could not solve the problem.  They came to the conclusion that it is "a glitch" and was not due to any settings or hardware issues.  And that they would escalate the issue up. 

Couldnt find this in the already posted. PNG transperency is removed when copy/pasting from browser. The only acceptable fix is to ensure that transperency is retained during the copy/paste. Only happens on windows os. 

Every time I work in Photoshop 2022 the missing fonts is activating.And I deactivated. And afrter the missing fonts is activating. And I deactivated. And after the missing fonts is activating...Like a silly person who always turns on the lights during the day.This is very annoying and unnecessary. I couldn't find an option to turn this off in Photoshop. Photoshop seems to be AUTO-ACTIVATING fonts from "Adobe Fonts" through the CC app, even though I have Adobe Fonts disabled and all fonts removed in the CC app. Neither Ai nor InDesign have this issue. I cannot find a way to disable auto-activation for Photoshop. I do not want to use Adobe Fonts in this file. Everytime I "Remove All Fonts" they reappear again in Photoshop even after I DISABLE Adobe Fonts in CC prefs.How do I fully disable Adobe Font activation for Photoshop? This is on a fully restored Mac Studio M1 Max, all software up-to-date.I've cleared PS font cache, system font cache via terminal, safe boot, and no font manager active.

Hi, i have a bunch of photos which are all scanned with 2 or more images in 1 scan. Hoping to use the Automate script Crop and straighten photos. 1. The result was not ok for some photos even when there was enough seperation around the edges.2. Also it seems i need to save each cropped file. Looking for a script that would do both the job (crop and save photos ). Thanks. 

Hello, I have a problem installing Photoshop. When I run the installer, even as an administrator, the installer is not displayed and I cannot continue the installation. What should I do about it?

Le problème est dans le titre, le raccourci que j'utilisais très souvent maj+F5 pour effectuer la fonction "remplir" ne fonctionne plus. Photoshop me fait la fcontion "étendre" à la place.J'ai réinitialisé les préférences, aucun résultat. J'ai vérifié dans les raccourcis clavier, tout est ok, maj+F5 est bien assigné à la fonction "Remplir" et il n'y a rien pour la fonction "Etendre"C'est assez pénible ^^Quelqu'un d'autre a ce problème ?MerciGuillaume

Hello,  I am fairly new to Photoshop and i am still learning how to use the tools on the left hand side of the program. When i started, the rich tool tips videos have been helpful in explaining what certain tools does etc etc but recently I have realised that they no longer pop up on my screen. i have tried checking the Rich Tool Tips box on Settings > Tools but it still does not come up like it used to. Any help would be much appreciated.  MacOS Sequioa 15.5Photoshop 26.9.0 release

Hello, when i try to select a preset on cameraraw it shows me a runtime error on my GPU, i already updated my drivers and photoshop and even tried to use other GPU on my PC, nothing worked

I can't see the anything like classic gradient and also i can't find gradient annotator

I have updated Adobe Photoshop to the latest version 24.5.  I see the new remove tool icon, however when I click on the tool, I get a message that says required components are being downloaded. Check back later to use the tool once the download is complete.  It has been over a week.  I have tried to stop and start the download to restart it.. nothing. I log in to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop-- it just shows adding remove tool components.. It just spinning... How long should this take and is there something else I need to do, as I mentioned its been a week since I updated to the newest version.   

Hi! I often apply for art grants, and in these application I struggle with photos and sizes of files. I have photos in JPG format, often very large, high quality (could be 10-30 MB). The application for a grant often require things such as: "Text + application PDF form + your photos must all be in 1 (one) PDF file, which is maximum 10 MB or 20 MB" I have the basic plan with Photoshop (not adobe acrobat PDF). It is so hard to put together perhaps 10 photos of artworks that are large, high quality JPG files, and make it all fit in one PDF to be under 10 or 20 MB. What I do, is to go into photoshop and reduce the size (pixels) and resolution PPI in photoshop, to make the JPG photo smaller. How can I do this better in photoshop without loosing quality in the photos of the artworks? Thank you so much in advance 🙂 

Hallo zusammen 🙂 Ich möchte unscharfe Bereiche in einem Bild selektieren, letztendlich um sie zu löschen. Konkretes Szenario: Ein Maschendrahtzaun, aufgenommen mit großer Offenblende, dahinter verschiedenfarbiger, unscharfer Hintergrund (siehe Anhang). Der Zaun selbst ist scharf. Ich möchte den Hintergrund freistellen und ersetzen. Ich denke, dass das irgendwie funktionieren muss, denn das Stacken von Makroaufnahmen funktioniert ja auch, indem die scharfen Bereiche aus den einzelnen Bildern zusammengerechnet werden. Aber die Funktion "Ebenen automatisch überblenden" funktioniert bei mir nur mit mehreren Ebenen, und außerdem brauche ich ja nur die Maske, die dabei erzeugt würde. Vielleicht suche ich aber auch hier einfach an der falschen Stelle ... ob maskieren oder selektieren ist mir ja egal, solange ich den Hintergrund irgendwie weg bekomme. Und der Zaun hat sehr viele und unregelmäßige Maschen, deswegen würde ich gerne auf "Handarbeit" verzichten ... Hat da je

Hello everyone! Im a photoshop noob and am super frustrated. Iwould really appreciate some help regarding line work!I've looked at other posts and nothing seems to work! :((Im trying to create diagonal lines using the brush tool without using the shift and click method. I would really love to just be able to draw them useing the same method i can create vertical and hortizontal lines! I've seen other artists do this so i know its somehow possible! I would really really REALLY appreciate any advice or help anyone could offer! Thank you so much in advance! :))

The app is fully updated, but every time I try to use the feature, the progress bar only fills halfway—and then I get an error message saying"Something went wrong. Please try again."I’ve already tried reinstalling Photoshop, but no luck.Has anyone faced this issue or know how to fix it?Thanks in advance!
