Hi, Thanks to all who took part in our last, 'Time and Tide', challenge.  We had lots of imaginative ideas and fun interpretations of Dave's photo of a North Yorkshire coastal town.   This week I'm helping Dave out, and I'm going to do something a bit different — mainly because I can't do the amazing photorealistic renders that Dave has started so many SFTW threads with.  This Smörgåsbord is an image buffet, many of which I have collected in my travels, and others that I have found online.    The Rules: Use as many of my image elements as makes sense for your upload.  You can choose your own backgrounds. Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc. Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. Photoshop 26.7.0 | Windows 11 pro V 10.0.26100 Build 26100 |  64 GB RAM | 33.385 MB reserved for PSAt first Photoshop only crashed when I used the magic wand.Now it also crashes if I use the AI remove tool.I cannot alter fonts as PS crashes too.And the tool bar shows no tools, just the small drop out triangles.I still can choose them and as I know where which tool is located I can work a little.If have tried to complete de-install PS, I even deleted every data on the C: drive that is related to PS and I deleted every PS related entry in the registry. Re-Installed, worked for about 30 secs, same problems again.Checked my RAM, have plenty, works fine.Did all Windows updates, checked HDs...Now I have no more ideas...Karl

Hi! My photoshop won't create text layers. It also won't allow me to set my text using the checkmark or the escape key. Error says no pixels have been selected. I have never encountered this problems before. I have updated Photoshop to the most current version, rebooted my MacBook, reset my text tool, set auto spacing to a fixed number, made sure that my text is not too big and many other things that I've seen as suggestions while doing some research on this problem. I am not a beginner, but I don't have a ton of experience with PS. Any ideas for what could be wrong? I am running Photoshop 26.7.0, MacBook Pro M4, Sequoia 15.5.  I would appreciate hearing from those who know. better than I. Thank you!

Unable to make the duration slider go under one frame, haven't found out another way. Really want to take a section of my animation and speed it up (make all the frames .75-.5 of a frame) to make it smoother, without affecting the frame rate of the whole timeline etc. thanks!! 

Generative fill does not work in Photoshop. It writes the error "no internet connection, try again later". I checked, there is an internet connection. The latest version of Photoshop is installed

I have a mac laptop which is running Photoshop just great including several 3rd party plugins which are very useful and important to me.I just acquired a new MacMini M4, and I see it as an activated device on my account. However, I can't add any plugins; I get the message "Couldn't install plugin, please try again. Error code -2. Help Center".My understanding that a -2 error code is a file system error, but I'm unsure how this works with the plug ins. There's plenty of space on the mac mini SSD.Logging in and out of my Adobe account as well as restarting the mac mini doesn't seem to help.TIA for any help or pointers. 

Version 26.7.0 on OS X 15.4.1 What has happened to Photoshop? I'm having so many issues with it, lately.The latest is the little window for Hex in the Color palette has disappeared. No, I am not in 32 bit color mode. I'm in 8 bit. I changed to 16 bit and back to 8 and the hex color value window is still missing.I already had to delete all my preferences recently because of a bug where the grid in View would keep being turned on with every single file I opened. And deleting the preferences fixed that bug. Thanks!

Hello, I know this topic has been discussed in the past but I'm looking for a bit more information. I've had PS CS6 for for about 8 years now and recently got a 75" display with a native resolution of 3840x2160. As most know, there is an major issue with the UI being too small when running in 3840x2160. My display has 59ppi, and I heard that CS6 was made for 96ppi. I understand that there should not be an issue if the displays ppi is under 96ppi. Which in my case it is. I just want to confirm a few things. Is running CS6 in 1920x1080 my best option? I know there are a lot of scaling methods out there and maybe that is a better option. Whatever my best option is, does it make sense for me to get a professional camera? I have been of the fence about getting a camera for several years now. I've always wanted one but with the CS6 display issue, it might not make any sense. For example, I was looking at the Canon EOS R5. PLEASE DO NOT MENTION UPGRAGING TO A SUBSCRIPTION! THIS

I moved from a PC laptop to mac a few days back just so that I can work on Photoshop/Lightroom with ease. It is a M4 MBP with 14Core CPU 20Core GPU. But I noticed yesterday that in photoshop, the marquee selection tool is extremely laggy and slow. the files are not that big either. just 33megapixel photos, single layer. it happened last night. Then i put it to sleep. This morning, it started working flawlessly. I thought there must be some small issue that got fixed. But now in the evening, its slow again. Am i doing something wrong? Memory is fine, CPU isnt getting hogged. Only thing i noticed that PS is taking Efficiency cores first. Can anyone help?  Recording attached.

Hi folks, I have been struggling to achieve a simple task, which I am sure anyone on here will ace! could you help? I have a selection of images - all different pixel dimensionsI need to create a visual embargo notice for each imageI would like to increase the canvas size at the top of each image by xxI would then like to add centred text to the newly created canvas size at the top.Ideally with consistent txt size across the image set, the caveat here - should the pixel dimensions of one image been narrower on one images vs another, the txt auto fits to that size.I would like to save this as an action, so I can create a droplet.Is this possible? Copy and Paste functionality broken in Photoshop iPadiOS. It was previously possible to copy images from iPad photos, or Keynote and paste them into Photoshop. This appears to no longer be the case. Either the option to Paste is greyed out, or nothing appears after Paste is selected. Please advise as to when we can expect repairs to this feature. Functionality of the app is severely hindered as a result. Thanks.

 I have a problem, I keep getting the message on the left saying "Revocation information for the security certificate for this website is not available. Should I continue?" -I restarted the adobe applications - I updated everything -I have up-to-date Windows - I installed the certificate as shown on the right - my default browser is google chrome Unfortunately, the error still occurs and a message pops up about every 2 minutes, which is irritating while working, how can I fix it? 

Why is Content Aware Fill not working? I'm using Photoshop 26.7 on an iMac with Mac OS 13.7.2. I have a cleaning layer which is a duplicate of the original Background layer. The opacity in both layers is set to 100% in the layers panel. When I use the Lasso tool to select the area for cleaning with Contenet Aware Fill no results after hitting "Apply" and even tried "OK". Nothing changes and it does not appear in the History menu. Is this a software incompatibility issue with the Mac OS and Photoshop? The Spot  Healing Brush works, but I prefer Content Aware Fill to clean larger areas, and in other photos to remove unwanted material. Saw other posts, but couldn't find an answer. Any suggestions or input would be appreciated. Charlie R.

This is a screenshot of YT video. This seems radial gradient. Is it possible in Ps? or you have to make it in illustrator & import it. 

I feel like I'm missing something very basic here....   So, I have a png scan with multiple images on it. I need to crop one image to the dimensions of my canvas and the guides I created. I manually enlarge the whole scan until the image I want is precisely within my canvas. I use the crop tool which automatically selects the canvas size as the crop area--perfect. I hit enter. The layer remains exactly the same. I have tried resetting the tool as other posts suggested.   Is crop not the right tool for this? 

Hi guys, I was working on a PDF portfolio and I usually "save as copy" and I compress the picture through it then add it to a keynote before exporting to PDF. Everything looks fine until I upload them to the drive. Once I upload the PDF to the drive the background gets pixel banding for some pictures that I took with the Nikon D750 and not for all the pictures. Any fix for this please?

After last update, 26.7, i am frequently losing my job for photoshop freezing. It happens when I am in Photoshop, work a lot in the same image then go to Bridge (updated 15.1.0.635). Try to return to Photoshop but it is already frozen. Anyone have this problem?

I have just updated to PS26.7.0 , BUT STILL I cannot burn using the curve method.Dodging using brush tool on macbook trackpad works fine. But when I try to add a curve/ burn layer, it doesnt burn. I have tried everything. I want to keep using PS as I need it for work. Its very disappointing.See screenshot attachment below.

Ich nutze Photoshop seit 10 Jahre, aber KI hat das Editing-Game grundlegend verändert. Andere Anbieter machen KI-Funktionen wie das Freistellen von Motiven möglich mit einem einzigen Klick. Ich versuche gerade zu lernen, wie ich diese zeitsparende Funktionalität auch in Photoshop umsetzen kann. Dabei bin ich auf das "Entdecken" Panel gestoßen und dort wurde mir erklärt, dass ich im Reiter "Fertigkeiten" alles finde. Aber wenn ich auf den Reiter "Fertigkeiten" klicke, dann sehe ich NICHTS! Hallo Canva...(Ja, ich habe die Creative Cloud installiert, alles ist richtig original lizenziert etc.) 

Why is my photoshop tool bar coming up like this when I open photoshop?  I've done the updates, etc but it still comes up like this?  

Ever since Adobe introduced the Remove Tool in May 2023 (version 24.5) I  have had "Could not complete your request because of a program error" dio boxes for many functions in photoshop that I need for work. This includes trying to use "Export as" from the layers panel and "quick export PNG" amongst other things. I've tried pretty much everything adobe recommends multiple times including - adjusting the Full Access credentials in System prefs- manually deleting all photoshop prefs in the Library- Adjusting the remove tool to be "more stable"- Adjusting memory usage Any help would be much appreciated because the only fix right now is to revert back to 24.3. My system info is attached.
