The Clone selection circle is filled with red

I am using the Photoshop for the iPad app but in the last couple days I cannot access my older files that are in my Creative Cloud. I keep getting the error that there is a problem with the syncing. I deleted the app and redownloaded it but it didn't help anything.  I know that the Creative Cloud app isn't avaliable anymore - is this why I am not able to sync? I kind of need my older files so I hope this isn't the case. I can access them on my laptop but I use my iPad for my art. 

I have a task ahead of me tomorrow that involves stacking up some renders and aligning them to another smart object that's already scaled and positioned off-centre of my canvas.Align tool is not working for me - I need the original SO to remain unchanged, align moves both layers and I also need to transform multiple layers/SOs together.Making new SO via copy and linking in the stack doesn't work as I need the layers exposed and I lose the transforms when I convert to layers.Currently I'm stuck with recreating the stack (with it's specific layer styles) from each of the base smart objects, so they inherit its transform, but that's gonna be quite tedious as there's 24 to do. A script I have that relinks SOs to new folders will make the process much quicker but I need to transform to that base Smart Object (made harder by the fat that when you link layers the scale displays as relative - not absolute!)Are there any other tricks here? 

I am involved in a rather extensive scanning project of old family photos (my own family), and find that using the photo restoration feature in Neural Filters quite helpful. I seem to consistently use the same settings. I tried creating an action using that filter, but the action bypasses everything in the restoration feature. Is there anything I can do to change that?

I am so frustrated.  My Actions are stalling and not working right.  I can run 1 photo edit and save then when I start the next photo they will no longer work correctly. It will stall the whole program for a few minutes.     I have updated everything possible.  Reinstalled photoshop , reloaded the actions and searched everywhere so solutions.  Please help

hi, i've been dealing with this issue for quite a long time and finaly decided to post. when do batch processing in ps after some time i run out of memory and have dozens of ssd gb taken by ps reservation. this forces me to stop batching , spend extra time rearranging images , all for restarting the app so that the space is available again which is by itself a foolish approach as it should be possible to clean all caching after every iteration. is there a way to enable it? purging all history doesn't help 

Hello, This has been happening for years to Tiff Files and realized it has something to do with Alpha Channels. When I delete all the alpha channels the thumbnail is normal. When there are any alpha channels it gives you this strange thumbnail. It's more annoying than anything since it isn't giving you the information you need to be able to pick the file and if most of the files are affected this way it starts to become cumbersome to find what you are looking for. If anything just distracting. So this might not be a question since I have the solution, but I don't know why I can't have alpha channels in these files. If they are PSDs files they come out fine or cut off sometimes when you open up a preview since alpha channels are masks. I don't know if this is a Photoshop issue or a Mac issue. I think I may have experienced this on other macOS systems prior to Monterey. I don't think this has anything to do with upgrading or anything though maybe a newer imac might solve this i

Tengo una pc viejita en la cual venia usando paquetes de cc2018 ...quise irme a algo mas nuevito y me encuentro que lo que hay en Creative,son versiones en las que necesito SSE 4.2...hay alguna manera de tener estos productos originales en sus versiones que no necesiten SSE 4.2 o en su defecto versiones antiguas?

When I'm a busy bee working and need photoshop, I click the photoshop icon on the task bar to launch photoshop.Now as we all know, photoshop does not start fast. I usually just start it and continue working on other windows until it's started up.The problem is, that in the new photoshop, the app captures the window focus (sorry don't know the right term) five times in the start up phase, even if you try to switch back to other applications, the photoshop really want's you to look at it even when it's not ready to be used.I know this sounds silly, but every second counts and usually you are in a middle of a good workflow and that annoys me every single time.Running latest photoshop on Windows 10 Pro.

When I first launch Photoshop CC 2017 it reaches a point where it steals the focus on Windows 10 and puts Photoshop as the active application. While this is a bit annoying it's not unusual for apps to do this when they're first launched. However, when I go back to the app I was on, Photoshop will steal focus at least 3-5 more times. Even minimizing Photoshop after the first instance doesn't do anything because it goes back to fullscreen and puts its self as the currently active app each time.Is there anything that can be done to stop this behavior or at least force Photoshop to only grab focus when it's fully loaded and ready to go?

Hello, I have a notebook Nitro V15 with a GeForce RTX 3050, and somehow I ‘am receiving the error that  GPU accelerations is required to edit photos, even though I tested the compatibility of my GPU and it seems to be ok, even when I try to activate the GPU in ACR preferences the option is deactivated and grayed out with a warning that "camera RAW acceleration graphics is not compatible with your system", I have tried everything to solve this problem, updated drivers, uninstalled and re-installed photoshop and Camera Raw, and a lot more that I can’t even remember, my programs are update to the earliest versions,  I use ACR a lot to color my photos and having to use lightroom it is taking too much of my time.If someone have any idea on how to solve this problem I appreciate it. sorry for any mistakes in my English I’m Brazilian and not very used to writing.

My Photoshop (both Beta and normal) stopped working suddenly. They cannot open any single file and i tried so far:- updating all drivers (yeah, graphic card included)- reinstalled all the apps- used the "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool" to clean literally everything In between all of these i restarted my pc after each operation. The program itself will start but it will remain stuck when trying to open even the smallest jpeg. This book says "Generative Workspace" in the Edit dropdown menu. But there is no such a command in it. How to get it?

I've been using Photoshop for a long time, but since this latest update of Photoshop it seems that they've added snapping to the perspective/skew/free transform i.e.when you hold Ctrl or Alt while dragging the corners of a layer. Maybe it was there before, but now it's been activated by default and for this one particular tool it's a real pain in the ass to work with, as it's typically something where each pixel makes a difference. In most cases I like snapping, but for this tool it hinders more than it helps IMO.I've just tested and found that even after disabling snapping completely it's still doing it. So does anyone know how this feature can be turned off?Cheers

Hi, I have updated to 26.7 and when I try using Generative Expand it either makes Photoshop crash, gives me a black background (no results) or shows an error "scratch disk full”Went back to 25.12.1 and everything works as it should. What am I doing wrong? 

System: New Macbook Pro 16 inch M4 MaxSequoia 15.564GB Ram Photoshop: 26.7.0 Issue:I just newly installed the latest version of Photoshop to my new machine. I was hoping the issue I have had for over a year now would finally be solved but no. There is a FRUSTRATING bug in Photoshop involving clicking and constrained dragging. Here is what I do:- I select an object- I select the pointer tool- I hold the SHIFT key and drag to constrain movement When I drop the object it does not stay in the position it was dragged to. Instead, it simply snaps back to its original position. This also happens if I SHIFT drag with the option key held down to duplicate an object.  This is not a new issue and I am still confused that I cannot get an answer to the issue.

I have almost 100 thousand images that I'll be generating using Data Sets. My Google Sheets pipeline is set and works, but Data Sets only saves out PSDs. How can I use Data Sets and save out Jpegs instead? Each PSD ends up being about 400+MB so I'll have to stop the process every so often just to batch save all the PSDs to JPEGs and delete the PSDs. A waste of time. Is there a Java script that can do the same thing that I need as the built-in Data Set app? I have tried inDesign and Illustrator for Data sets  / Data Merge but it really can't do what photoshop does the way I have my layers (about 20) set up.

Hi There, this one has been bugging me for a while - anyone know how to fix? Title says it all, with a brush selcted, option click now sets the background colour insted of the freground colour - the eyedropper tool itself has always worked this way but not the brush tool. Does anyone know how to get the previous behvior? It now takes extra clicks. Any help much apprecitaed. Cheers, Ben

I'm trying to recreate the steps involved in a video of a flower where you are able to add several colors outside the border of the subject and then press something so the colors are only inside the border.  

Such a stupid setup with placeholder text (Lorem Ipsum) automatically without clear option for user to type what they want.

I just want to fill in the black areas on the image with red, but neither Fill in New Layer nor Fill in Selection will work. I read tutorial but I couldn't.  Please help me. BTW, I use 'Photo shop 2025' and adove creative cloud.I also use Mac book air recent version.
